I have fixed them now. I orginaly uploaded 800x800 images but xda-dev rescaled them to 558x558. didn't realise untill I read ur post. Now i have uploaded the pics to a different server so it should be all good now.

i made a windows 7 fake bootscreen
that black square should never be visible on the device
i never tried it because i cant replace the welcomehead.192. can anyone help me? i dont have a cooked rom on my x1. a question: if i delete the welcomehead and replace it... and then hard reset will the new one still be there? that would suck! since now i never played around on the rom files and i dont want to loose my guarantee.

regarding your Q, yes: a hard-reset pulls everything out from the read only memory (ROM) and replaces all current contents, sort of a clean Windows install on your PC, which will "format c:\" and then reinstall the Operating system (OS)
But don't be shy, Give it a try:
Flash Hard-SPL and then flash my SEX1 W4X.23 ROM
I bet you will not be dissappointed, and you can ALWAYS go back to stock, nobody will notice you ever messed with the ROM

fantastic work, i love it.
Could you modify it for me to version 3.0 and remove the HTC logo. I would like to use it for the WM6 splash screen (welcomehead.96.png). It also needs to be 320x320 to support both landscape and potrait, therefore just extend the background on the right side and leave the graphics where they are.

I don't know how to remove call hist and calendar on my home tab screen.

I can remove only dotted lines and small arrow (No Dotted Lines Home.cab). other cab files no working, thisame situation with manila. I replaced the original but not effect.

Steps:
1- Download megaupload file rar
2- Backup for those manila files
3- Turn off tf3d
4- Copy new manila files in /windows
5- Turn on tf3d
6- Enjoy your new homescreen

If you have the first one use the file that you find in "1c684cd8_manila v1.zip"
also the other one. This file remove also the little watch that appear when you slide up in the home.

i've been waiting for a manilla edit like this since nov.
the call history links have been removed. but i can't set a wallpaper for the homepage. been through the settings and selected a picture but it always comes up plain black.
just checking the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/desktop/wallpaper values -- currently set to \windows\default.2bp - is this correct ?
using the stock ROM here - any suggestions. thanks!

question is do i need to change the wallpaper setting in the registry to point to a jpg in my wallpaper folder or is there anywhere else i can force the blackstone to change the wallpaper to a picture instead of plain black. other than via the touch flo wallpaper setting (which doesn't work)
btw u need HDwall application to get ur wallpaper in each tab..
plus i have taken many files from diamond to make it look like dis..
ah well. HDWall doesn't work on my default ROM.
any other solutions?

u can use mUn bg4allTabs but corner clock will not work with that

layout is WAY better like the clock where it is with the date and alarm where you put them....BUT how do i get rid of the calendar icon??? still there(this time if i hit it it does take me to calendar instead of whiting out my screen)

Gio512, a user of Xda-developers community, made his own version of HTC HD2 (Leo) Official Animated Wallpaper. He made two versions: WVGA and WQVGA.
The one you can see in the thumbnail is the non-moving version, while the one you'll download is the animated one, with yellow and red moving circles.
The format of the file is .gif, so you can use it as S2U2 Wallpaper. Downloads are available below.

I also downloaded the both files, put them in separate folder on the sd card and tried to used them as a S2U2 wallpapers but it didn't work...
any suggestions???
edit : succeeded to change the wallpaper to the custom animated wallpapers from the latest Duttys Holy Grail ROM, but the animation is still not starting...
This wallpaper comes with Dutty's wm6.5 Leo R7 rom. You need to soft reset it after changing the wallpaper to see the animation.

try that already.... still not working Gio512 wallpapers... and if I use original Dutty also nothing happens because they are .png format.

I's very strange. It worked on mine while using Stock M2.1 ROM. But now, after flashing a ROM with M2.5, it seems to be stucking with a black screen too.
I love this wallpaper! Any chance of it working on QVGA(I know some WQVGA stuff does work)? If not would you be able to PM a QVGA copy? As I do not spend too much time in the HD forum, I have to original Touch. Thanks

As some of you have already asked for replacements for the Windows Mobile splash screens, I decided to make a couple.
To install these:
Download the NBH file by clicking the link below the image.
Copy the NBH to SD card, Rename to KAISimg.nbh, Flash by powering on while holding down camera button, same as flashing to nand.
These splash screens will not alter your nand flashed Android in any way, they simply replace the old splash screen.

I actually made the K S and E myself using gimp. Searched high and low for the actual font but its not released. I thought about changing the S and E to fit the rest of the font better but haven't got around to it.
Did wonder about that, been searching all over the place for that font, lol, but since it's not supposed to be used on anything other than official google andoid logos, I'll just have to use what I have

I've found this Boot animation Here:

and resize and rename it for our HDmini.
file name for boot animation: htc_animation_320x480.gif
just replace in windows directory with Resco File Explorer or Total Commander.
in case you want to get back to your original Boot animation DONT Foget to make a backup of the original file.
I'm using it with nsourm ROMs and it works fine.
I don't know how to make an animated screen shot!
so I can tell it's the Custom White in the original treat.

Just extract the RAR file... the file inside is normally named correctly.
but you can check in windows directory if it will replace a file or not! if it replaces, there isn't any problem! if not find in windows directory the file for boot animation, normally a GIF file! and replace it.

I am using Total Commander. The file isn't hidden. I copied the above file into the windows file and it didn't ask me to replace anything
Then seach for all *.gif's in windows folder and see which one is the right one.
