Not another wiki - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development

Well, after looking for an not finding what I wanted...I just decided to build it.
#1 - place to compare ROMs and Kitchens..with filter and sorting.
#2 - place to keep track of my own personal ROIM experiences
#3 - place to keep track of cabs I load (how many cabs do you have on your storage card you have no idea what it is)
So I built up this Sharepoint site and gave a bunch of Cookers rights to post their stuff...but more is better!
So, now I'm going to the public.
Here are some screenshots of the basic idea

Here are some of the cool stuff you can do with lists:
filter By Carrier
Filter By system
here's where users can track their experiences with different ROMs and Kitchens
Here they can track stuff on different Programs and Cab and such.
So....after all that...
The site is located at : http://sp.textultant.com/Mobility
The URL will redirect you there : http://TheMobilityExperts.com
Please understand that adding users is not automatic and somewhat cumbersome....I will try to process requests as soon as I can...but I just want to set expectations...It may by 24 hours or more in some cases. since I'm the only Admin right now.
Hope you like it...There's a survey out there on the site to let me know what you think.
EVERYONE can View...
there are instructions on the site for how to Join and Use
Here goes..........................
CHEERS!

Xda Revamp?

has xda developers ever thought about some new themes or just a new look?? not thats its unsightly, its pretty nice to access and use, just wondering??
I'd be happy with something that was a bit more QVGA friendly, I find it somewhat cumbersome to navigate this site from my 8525 - maybe it's me... who knows
Actually I was thinking of both versions, but the pda version does load much quicker
My problem with the PDA Site is that everything on it is at least one day behind everything on the main site...
Maybe cutting out things like avatars, signature pictures, embedded tags like

I see your point, and will back down.
I'm quite happy with it as it is, and the site loads fine on my prophet.
Hmm, as far as the PDA version is concerned, I can't speculate on that for I have never used it. I always browse XDA Dev in full view Opera Mini. Even then, I find that the layout of the forum is quite clean and manageable. I would not recommend any unnecessary changes. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but fix the broken stuff (haven't noticed any so far)

Order of the Devices in the forenlist

Hello,
what do you think about a re-order of the devices in the forenlist? the newer htc devices are all at the end of the list and we have to scroll a lot? Maybe ist is possible to reorder it to the top of the list?
Rgds
MyPass
I agree...better yet have user be able to decide which phones/devices appear when they are logged on.
This has been asked several times before...
First devies goes up and newer goes down, imagine changing the way it has been for years!
No way!, I like it just like it is now
Just my opinion,
While most people think reordering is a good idea. However I'm used to where everything is so please don't move it or you'll make me mad, along with a lot of other "ole timers."
This has been posted before.
And believe me guys...you don´t want to see JimmyMcGee or any other "ole timer" mad

If you really want the page re-ordered (and you use Firefox), you can hide the stuff you don't want with a plug-in called GreaseMonkey. It does take a small amount of scripting on your part- but, hey, why should the admins do all the work?
Greasemonkey basically runs scripts on pages as they load, which makes it possible to customize the way you see (and interact) with other people's websites.
If you're too lazy to do that, CTRL+F will save you a bit of scrolling.

Rooting, backing up & flashing done right the first time! Please share!

i've noticed many users, especially lately, experiencing problems (after rooting and/or flashing) that simply should not be happening. these problems can be avoided and users can have a much better knowledge about proper procedures by simply reading up and following the clear instructions on the attached thread. this thread is a compilation of solid information containing links by experienced developers and the proper steps required to safely and correctly flash roms.
this is a simple 5-step process that, if followed correctly, will protect the user against accidental file corruption or data loss while also providing the knowledge to completely customize their device.
i encourage new users to visit this link and those of you that frequent this page to assist others to share this thread for the good of the community. i am always open to suggestions so pm me if you notice something you feel should be changed or added. cheers!

[APP][FREE][4.0+][CONCEPT] Snoozer's Alarm Clock

Hi everyone!
I’ve made a quirky alarm clock app. It's for those who have trouble waking up, like me
If you’re the kind of person who sets multiple alarms in the morning - this is for you. You only need to set a goal time and tap “ON” button, the app does the rest for you.
I’ve made it for personal use, woke up with it for couple of months, and so far I’m very happy with results - I wake up on time! Friends encourage me to publish it, but before I do I’d like to see how people react to the new concept.
The app is reliable and works in full, has a nice UI and how-to-use tutorials. Free, no ads.
Care to take it for a spin and tell me how you feel about it?

After Advice on my Android automation Tool.

Good Afternoon,
This is my first post so my apologies people if its in the wrong place.
I am mainly looking for some feedback, some testing and ways to improve the current program
I have been asked to develop an android automation batch file as a project with the functionality of
*Listing attatched Device
*Rebooting phone
*Rebooting into recovery
*Rebooting into Download mode
ALSO:
Controlling device automation from keyboard
i.e W:to move selection up A: to move selection left S: to move selction down and so on.
I am a great fan of XDA and been a member a while and most of things I know today have been from you guys so please be nice and respect the work I have done.
Also this is my first ever batch program and I welcome "constructive" critiscism and useful tips on how to make this project better.
-----------------------------------------------------------
INFO - This program assumes a few things,
You have a device attatched and have USB DEBUGGING mode enabled
The batch file is in the location on your PC where adb.exe is (from the Andoid developer tools from google)"Otherwise secified directories willl be wrong".
------------------------------------------------------------
AT PRESENT THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON n9005 and i9300.
