Manila 2D Samsung i780 96p

Hey,
i got a Samsung i780 version L2 with 96p, but I saw so many threads about Manila 2D, that I'm a bit confused. So who can give me the newest/stablest version of Manila 2d 320*320 for 96p?

In this thread you can find all the files to install M2D on your i780. I read the new M2D with footprints doesn't work with the i780 so until someone figures out how to get it up and running install the version you find in the Manila 2D on i780 thread.

you guy install Manila2D for I780 and then replace HTCHomeSetting.html in Window folder with this then you will get it work with 96DPI

HOW TO CHANGE THE "SYS" and "XIP" on stock HTC rom 2.03.401.3 ?

Can anyone tell me how can i change the (SYS & XIP) on a stock htc rom 2.03.401.3 to a higher build (for example: "build 21042" ) and recook it?
I'm using "DiamondKitchen_v0.4" and i have downloaded these folders ( MSXIPKernel, MSXIPKernelLTK and SYS), but dont know how to do it.
I really want to do it 'cause i like that rom and i want to have in this rom: (HTC Rhodium Notification Enhancement and HTC Rhodium Menu Enhancement).
Please HELP ME!

Just replace the files/folder and run G'Relloc

I'm trying to port any 21xxx XIP & SYS. I faces two problem:
1. G'Reloc gives the same value with the original and new sys.
2. Diamond won't boot and freezes in the first bootscreen.
please, could someone share 21xxx base 2.03 rom

Try to run G'Reloc on dump directory just after running BuildOS with :

Use the Platform Builder to update the XIP and SYS.
Follow the steps in the Video tutorial.

[ROM KITCHEN]l3v5y 21046/21046 2.07 kitchen

This is a ROM kitchen. It requires some knowledge of what you're doing...
Built of the 21046 XIP/SYS with the latest 2.07 OEM (nothing from Topaz/Rhodium yet) it should work on all GSM diamond variants...
It uses bepes excellent platform rebuilder to build everything...
You need to use the "build_rom.bat" to create the ROM, and then you'll need a copy of HTCRT, yang or NBHUtil to create an NBH file from the os-new.nb file created in the root of the kitchen.
Enjoy, and if you release a ROM based off of this, please say!
It has a few minor tweaks from the stock SYS/XIP with some packages removed, and some exes UPXed for more space and faster load times...

Ah... I'll see if I can work out why... Might be my attempt to reduce the size of the os.nb.payload...

I cooked my own yesterday. I simply removed not needed Folders from SYS.
Now i try to figure out how to coustomize this more.

Software is full from MS ( game Bubblebr. incl.) besides Custom MS: Money, Weather, Voicecom. All Samsung soft is deleted besides: Alarms, ObexFtp, MiniPlayer,SmartConv,Zoomer. Addons: Adobe reader LE(from HTCdt2 6.5),PocketRAR, i780cursor, Lockscreen, Touchresponse, Stoptimer and other..
Fixed Resco Exporer vs 6.5.3 issue, button "x" long press closes programs, added Comm bar and Titamium bar to Chome, Smaller Sams.task manger, no certificates needed for and programs to install. GPS, processor and flash card are hardware a bit boosted but have no use of common tweaks.
Just simplier.
Compressed with LZX allows to increase storage memory space by compressing harder of system files,negative side- ROM is slower! XPR compression is normal provided as in original ROM by Samsung, ROM size is bigger> less free file space available.

Copy original files from \windows directory: zylonite_keyboard_us.dll and small file begins from sym0...txt from current swedish firmware that are you using and post here. Il make cab.

Just installed your rom.....man!! its just amazing

The titanium weather and comm plugins included are awesome...i usually never have the patience to install it...having it in the rom is just perfect! Vibrate on touch...keyboard sounds....really nice!

Not sure if PIMS still work fine for new WM 6.5.3. its designed for wm5-6.1. I have attached cab for you. It plces link to Utils in Start Menu.. So please check if its working specially for mails.
But I recommend you to use MyPhone. Download it from Marketplace in start menu.

Have no shortcut for it in start menu. sorry forgot to put it.
Its starts any automatically in memory and shortcut of program can found in \windows\ folder.

Actually I already downloaded the PIMBAckup application cab and installed it and just added the shortcuts manually. It works.

Plese use google search for now, there are tons of manuals also on this site. Sorry, dont have time now looking for that. Later, I will post all guides. they are different to xp /vista (win7).

little bug
ok after a few hours I found a little bug:
In lock mode if the screen is on, the volume keys are not locked.
