Geotagging google maps and X1 - XPERIA X1 Themes and Apps

Hi All,
I installed the cab file from R3A release candidate rom on my R2A phone, and yes autoflash works and I can geotag photos taken by the phone, but isn't there missing something???
In cheeper SE like the Walkman series when you take a photo and geotag it, then you can call up Google Maps and then read the geotag in there.
My question why doesn't there exist a link file for X1 so I can use the same feature on much more expensive X1???

Who knows if it is or if it is not included in the R3A?
Let's wait until the official release.

This would be a very nice feature. I saw it on a C905 and it´s just awesome! But since this is not working yet...how can I view the location of the picture on my pc? Which program do I need? (freeware would be nice)

You can do that e.g. with Picasa or IrfanView with PlugIns.

Picasa works great, thanks!

Facebook & Youtube social network engine..?

I notied how the built in social network engine on the touch pro 2 has been removed. Is there a way to re-ad this feature to the touchpro 2..? I have seen various CAB files to open this up on ROM's for the fuze/original touch pro but are there any that make it work with the touch pro 2..? Also, may be a stupid question as I'm pretty sure I know the answer... Does this phone have any capability yo go into the youtube app when clicking on a youtube link send via email or text message like some other phones... IE - Iphone, android, etc. In the past, I have seen windows just load up the default browser instead and we all know that opera does not support flash to make this happen. And even if you install the flash lite 3, half the time it will NOT work or the video frame rate will be poor. Is there a way around it or has windows mobile just not evolved to this stage yet..?
I thought that these were posted already in the forum but wasn't sure.

Youtube is also already built into the TP2 and should be in your programs. You can't auto-launch it with a link unless stuff gets hardcoded as Youtube Application links.

No, I'm talking about the social network engine within the HTC album interface that was originally introduced with the touch HD. It was ripped when TF3D2 was ripped. Now the newer versions of TF3D2 do NOT have it running. The way it works is, you take a picture or choose an existing in the album, then it will give you options to either send a pic to facebook or send a video to youtube. Also the network settings for this were located in settings. This is where you would enter & save your youtube and facebook login settings. Then there was an uploader option in settings to allow you to view your upload progress.
Youtube from Album
Yes, I remember this one, on my HD I was able to send several videos directly to youtube. but now with my TP2, the option to login and send the files is not there any more. The Youtube app doesn't have the option to upload videos either.
I remember seeing a post for this that had some other issues with it like other parts of the album not working once they got this working again....
any real solutions.
Keep up the great work guys,
Ali.
This is the only thread I know about for the TP2:

However, it didn't work for me, I'm still looking for a solution.
Not sure if its what you want but Microsoft MyPhone will share pictures etc. for you to certain networks...

Facebook for HTC Sense

Hello there,
has anyone tried this and uploaded some photos to facebook?
I tried it and it created the album which I chose. But then it put only the first picture in that album and the rest in mobile uploads album. And right before the last picture it stopped working and it had to be closed.
I have used it to upload photos to a specific photo album on Facebook without problem. I used the Gallery app, clicked share, then facebook for htc sense, then it let me choose the album and voila.
I did each picture individually, but I don't mind that, because I like to sort them as I upload anyhow.

[Q] Beam

I've done some googling but i haven't managed to come up with an answer to this either way...
Me and my friend both have the galaxy nexus and we tried to beam a picture but it wouldn't work.
After some research i've found that it isn't possible because of the gallery in the rom.
does anyone know if there are plans to change this so that pictures can be exchanged through beam?
It's not because of the gallery apk. It's because NFC has a very slow transfer rate. It would take a long time to send a picture.
Things that I have had success beaming are: market app links, browser links, youtube videos.
Yeah, you can really only send links and all, not actual content stored on you phone as far as i know. because it takes too long, and nfc may not even be capable of doing it. however, when you beam a youtube video, app, or website or something, you are basically sending the link to the other phone and then the other phone connects to that link through whatever app it uses like the Browser, Youtube app, or Market etc. to transfer actual content like photos stored in your phone, its probably best to use bluetooth or just email it or something.
i may be wrong though

Just upload your photo to drop box and beam the link, easiest way to do it.
Note: you can beam contact stored on phone, not just links.
Yeah we managed to beam apps which opened up my market... websites... youtube links and a contact from his phonebook to mine.
Guess we will have to stick to the good old bluetooth for pictures.
Still a very nice feature to play about with.
File Expert will speed up that bt transfer with an nfc tap.
And ShareNFC will add the ability to transfer files via NFC in an upcoming update.
