There isn't any italian rom with wm6 working......it is so frustrating
I associate to his question.....how can we perform a new rom including italian language in the menu and also for inputs (like T9 )......which tools we have to work with? Please someone helps us because Htc doesn't...
only vodafone made a new updating rom, but it's only with wm5 edition
Before the "new" Vodafone rom (TEST ROM) you couldn't even find any Italian wm5 rom, right? And wm5 has been out for quite some time
So how can you expect NOW a pre-made wm6 rom in Italian language?
Until someone or we all contribute in translating (like germans are doing...see the relative thread) then you can only dream about it
But anyway... I don't know if its worth it anyway... I mean, it will take a lot of time and work and when we finish maybe wm6 will be released officially... in Italian.
So I suggest you to be happy of what you can test now about wm6 (which is a lot anyway)
If there's any possibility, the best is to create an Italian group for the translation to Italian language, just the same that the Deutch group is doing.
In every case, I give my complete disposition in this "hard" work.

You have only 3 post here and you are asking us to build something for you? And this will cost US OURS of coding? (or worst, days to explain to a noob how to code a rom )
We are thousands here and do you think nobody here has better things to do instead of explaining to a noob how to code a full language?

This will be slightly OT but anyway...
I prefer to use English version of whatever software I am using. Personally I can not imagine working with phone in my language (never had any localized phone OS). Using an english version of WM6 will help you improve your english. If you are looking for input in your language - your hermes comes with great hardware keyboard - with little reg hack and edited sym.txt you will be able to input just about any symbol you might need. There may be a paid localization software in your language, try to find out. Good luck

Oh sure...you're right! Use it in english is a good try to improve my english!
About the keyboard and sms there's no problem, searched on wiky and solved all the problems..( a minor problem obviously, a visual problem! )

I did not mean to discourage you in any way! This forum lives from people like you - those that are willing to actually create something. Do not get intimidated by some senior members.
Concerning English - I only noted my language preferrence for gadgets/computers (you can be sure I love my language too ). If you are still willing to start the project ask German gyus for tools/info. There has also been a Chinese version of WM6 floating around, try to ask that guy as well. Hopefully though there will be a localization included in a final version of WM6 or provided by a local operator.

Thank's, great, your job points out what I am trying to explain: always, before doing things like writing in a WM6 technical discussion "please explain to me how to write an Italian ROM...." , as he proudly said here, (and we have seen the results of this kind of messages in technical areas on jasjammin support to his Black 2.0 ROM) use search button! May be I was too "direct" but when is needed IS needed (quando ce vo' ce vo' )
The 3D on WM6 italian ROM otherwise is an important 3D were to collect all Italian Hermes developers. I am testing your tool on LVSW and on Black 2.0 (no keyboard version) and I believe it is an important tool for Italian customizzation of WM5-6 ROMs

It is a rom Xip which is one of the last 20,931, election sys has been more difficult because the 20,931 is something I have considered unstable and not put that on the other hand, I have put the sys fast, stable and reliable the time 20,757, but again not always what is best, that's why the betas are betas and final versions that are most tested version

I took at least a week to test everything but... it seems to be a good rom
but... many shortcuts are missing like comm manager... it has at least 18 mb free of proggrams memory it sucks even in M2D we have more than 18 mb! jajaja but the transparent bar is good... it makes to have a little taste of a new OS... the greyed folders are so bad it will be great on color... what else... many apps dont works well like the TOUCH PLAYER!!! it cant plays Mp3 and FLAC... its not Real big storage... its a little silent the side bar has a video player I suppouse and dont works... the PIE dont works again... try to use the skyfire... its too much the use of pudongs (or something) taskmanager... the taskmanager by HTC is enough...
Stable and Strong... maybe it could be a good rom without the side bar cause it eats memory like an hungry cavemen!
lets try some more maybe this build 20931/20757 works well for the final ROMS.

The problem isn't the build or xip is omnia package xD
Sorry but i never use big storage, and all my roms have a lot of ran memory, but i think that in this rom are enought because it has all you can need.

thanks friend, i whis that you enjoy with my spanish rom in your hermes
regarding if there is a messaging issue, as a work around users can turn off threaded messaging in advanced config and it still will work and is usable then after reboot.
Are there any ROM builders out there that take this ROM and make an English version as it looks good and I'm always looking for a new interface to try?
I have problem with key pressing. I cant press 2 key in this same time. Is any idea to resolve that problem? I cant playing games on my PocketUAE emulator. Pls help me

there's nothing we can do . the electric panel of the keyboard is uncable of handling more than one press at a time , something that related to the way of the device to get the key press from the keyboard .
and by the way , it suck big time , the issue with the keys . besides that , this is the best winmo device i've ever had .
I saw somewhere a application for Samsung i730 which fix multipress key problem. I saw too in fpsece forum that schtruck resolve this problem for his emulator on I780. I asked for it on his forum and i wait for answer, maybe he can help us .
Something about I780.
It is very good phone, but the screen is problem for me. I780 is powerfull machine but i dont know any programs for it. RealVGA helped me sometimes but... ehhh. Do you know any cool and interesting application or games? I am newbie in this thread, maybe you can help me

I've a excalibur wit wm 6.1 in think is kavana's rom, but my problem is, the phone vibrate alone, i mean, the phone dont have activity however vibrate alone, i think this seark or load some but i dont know what is, im check all aplications and all configuration but nothing have some wich each 15 minutes more or less the phone searcho or do something which make the phone vibrate.
I hope some help me and i hope understand the issue.

Go to Settings and go into Sounds.
Scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure unread notifications is disabled.
By default it is set to every 15 minutes.
If that fails Try reflashing the ROM.
Let me know if this helps.

arrives. For the TV online streaming, is a matter of time. I supose that is possible
that SPB Software make a version of SPB TV, but I'm not sure about this. You must

The WP7 platform is very new, so it's a matter of time that all the things come to it.
I remember when I bought the Nexus One and I miss the same things that I miss
in WP7. But with patience and a little bit of time, all is possible.
