HTC Diamond Touch Pro - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi.. Can anyone help? I have been sent an HTC Diamond Touch Pro from my office in Denmark and unfortunately it has been formatted in Danish... This is not a UK phone and I have tried changing the relevant settings from what I can understand in the Viking language... but obviously this does not work!
I have also via searching on Google found this very informative website with a link and detailed breakdown of how to reformat the whole phone into English... However... I think I might be a total muppet and need some proper help with this as I tried to do what was indicated to no avail.... Does someone know a shop/person in London I could take it to that could do this for me?? Your help and guidance would be greatly appreciated (my babies dummy - that my wife so kindly calls it has given up the ghost - HTC S620) MANY THANKS Jeremy

BA Updates doesn't list my Ext. Rom

Ok, I'm a total newbie to this, so please be patient with me. Just spent a few hours searching this site for the info I need, but in the updates section of BA my device is not listed. I basically wish to change the default language to English from German (and I know that this process is listed but I can't find the right download for my device).
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Janeway,
The Extended ROM was designed to be hidden & only used on a hard reset of the Blue Angel, that's why your having problems with the BA utility.

Ryan
Thank you for your replies.
Managed to get things sorted out the other day - was just a bit tentative at first in case I did some permanent damage to my brand new gadget
Strange isn't it - I have no fears pulling my desktop PC apart and it's worth a lot more than my PDA, but I guess that's down to heaps of hands on practice etc and I know that what I do is reversible (most of the time!).
Thanks again. I've so much to learn and glad that I have found a site like this which can help so much.
Donation will be on its way soon.
Janie.

Japanese input T-mobile Dash possible?

I did some searching around regarding this but could not come up with any final conclusions regarding this issue. I'm posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who has a Dash. I know it's possible to set up ppcs to have Japanese input (i've set up my tilt to do so) but can this be done on a smartphone?
If anyone has any feedback regarding this that would be a great help! Thanks!

Yup its posible I've done it before my dash.
with english and japanese/chinese characters it was a .cab file that I downloaded from some company I delet it the file some time ago because I have the new rom from kavana that has english/chinese so I din't think I would need it anymore. The only proble I had was that it took alot of memory from the phone.
Hahahahaha sorry I cant post it. you should look for it better if you can't find it I think I have the download link bookmark on my friends PC and see if I can share it....
If you could post that that would be great. I've searched for some time and have had no luck finding it. When you installed it were you still able to input with english characters as well? I'm not familiar with how smartphones work.
Anyone else know if this is possible?

Help Asian Language??

I just recently purchased this phone for work only to find out that I cannot read Korean fonts on sites or email. Im not a hardcore tech or anything but I was told by HTC and Microsoft that it can be done but I would have to go through some third party application. Can someone please help me out with this issue? I really need to see and write asian font. Thanks in advance.
Have you googled?
http://www.google.com/search?q=add+korean+support+windows+mobile
Hi Mesquire,
I've googled like you've suggest and I found very first one with touch pro installing font into windows/fonts/ but I can't seems to find windows directory on my TP2. Is there any code to unlock the hidden directory or something?
TIA.
I've ran into these and installed to my Touch pro 2. (it says it's from HTC HD2) http://www.mymits.net/zboard/zboard....page=2&no=5757
Thanks to James Kim, it work fine as far as texting and e-mailing in Korean. (I've installed it last night and so far so good)
It comes with "Moa keys" and I was able to get some info from youtube. (I'm learning)
I've got T-Mobile and it's working fine, but when I try to send to my friend with AT&T, it gives me message and tells me try to send it without the symbols.
I guess it doesn't work if you have AT&T.
with some googling, i was able to read korean throughout the os.
heck, i was even able to change htc sense language into korean.
however, i can't seem to find a way to type korean.
With all the winmo phones out there, it's hard to believe that there's no easy solution.
Please let us know if you find a good input method for korean.

[Q] Change language in HTC touch Pro2

Hey guys,
I have made a research through the forum and I saw that few people already asked the same question as me, but unfortunately the replies were not very clear (at least clear enough to me ).
I just bought a HTC TP2 in Holland, and I would like to change the language of my phone from Dutch to English.
Anyone knows how to do that?
Thx a lot
PS. Thx to this forum I already changed the language of an HTC HD from dutch to english 2 yrs ago. But I had somebody from this forum who guided me step by step during the process. I of course made a donation.
