INDIGO_lite&full [08.07.2007 released]

I want to say that this rom isn't unusual and perfect. It's a common custom rom (based on latest ANZ rom) that was recooked by me.
Full version will be uploaded on monday.
There is some info about Lite version
-It's a vanilla version with 60 Mb of free Storage
Removed:
* SQM
* Catalog
* DRM
* Almost all rings
* Some pictures
* All OEM soft (exept MMS)
-There is ~30 Mb of free memory at start
-Some apps were skinned in TouchStyle (Commanager / WMP / DialPad - portrait only)
-Commanager has 9 big buttons (beam and 3g button are also included). Probably, I'll make 12 buttons commanager in touch style and include it in Full version
-If u doesn't want to have touchSkin in WMP, just try to select other skin and u will get default skin
-I included new Fexplorer with mine icons. Old Fexploer is also in rom (look for bexplorer.exe). BTFTP doesn't work with new explorer but i changed btftpclient and now it opens old fexplorer and works well (i'll include it in full version).
-I included HeadPhone Equlaiser. It really works with trin and improve audio quality in wire headphone
-All today plugins will be hidden after customisation . Go to settings and check what do u want to show
-I also include a link to WirelessManager (it seems like simple Commanager that's why it's quiker and usefull)
-[!] If u want to use TFLO (with button) you should asociate shotrcut for it in Settings-Buttons
-[!] Music tab was asociated with WMP. If u want to use AudioManager instead - just set this reg entry:
/(will be added soon/ or just use search and find the answer on xda)/
-[!] If u wont use ButtonFLO u should delete biotouch.lnk from startup
-some other info will be added soon..quite busy now, sory
-etc.
[!] For prevent password and account dissapearing u should (you should make this procedure immidiatly after first soft reset ):
1. Set up your connection settings
2. Open IExplorer / Set up Ineternet connection / Open some internet page
3. Click Disconnect button to close internet connection
4. Hold power button and turn off your phone
5. Power on your phone.
After that procedure your password wont dissapear. I think that you should repeat the same for mail account (set up mail account / try to send or recieve your mail / hold disconnect button / turn off your phone)

Btw, it's just effect of indigo theme. If u want to have gleam effect on both bars just use another theme

Oh please, I'd like to have the full version ROM for the lazy ppl like myself, even though I may not use all programs in the ROM. But it would just save my time for intalling all other programs that I do use.
So please do release the full version ROM, mUn.....

Is the Kaiser Home plugin in 6 buttoms, as indicated in your other posts?

Thanks Mun for releasing this ROM. I've been using it for a couple of hours, and i'm really satisfied. The ROM is very fast and very clean, letting us customize it the way we want.
The Kaiser Home Plug-in works PERFECTLY on this ROM, which makes it a complete ROM.

FAQs:
- Notification issue. Workaround:
1) Disable Titanium and do a soft-reset. (Use another home UI instead, such as: Manila3D, HomeUI,...)
2) Change the default SMS ringtone to default MIDI files, such as: PegDisconnect, Standard, Voiceprvcy,...)
3) Use mRing to handle ringtone for phone and sms (not tested yet)
- Sometime can't go back to Titanium. Workaround:
Go to Settings\Today, disable and enable Titanium.
- Can't see new "Slide to Answer"
It only appears when you have a phonecall while your device locked

also noticed there's 4 columns on the hexagon screen... other 6.5 roms are 3x.... is this user customizable? (i havent tried a 6.5 rom yet lol) just waiting to see how this pans out abit...
also all the current 6.5 betas... in the main screen there's '0' after the items cant this be changed?

- Yes, it's a modification
- "0" is no.notification, if you have 2 misscall for example, it'll display 2, not a typo prob

the 4x icon row does look more suited for the diamond since its not as tall as the HD...

ok, i tried you're rom and i must say this version is better then the ND4SPD's one. Installation went well.
Until now:
Exchange sync (Activesync): Works
GPRS Connection: Works
WiFI: Works
SMS/Text: Works
TomTom: Works
GPS: Didn't tested it yet
Phone: Works
Alarm: Works
Camera: Works
Internet Explorer: Works
Device Lock: Works (ND4SPD's version sometimes went black and had to hard-reset it)
Summary:
The honeycomb is still a little bit sluggish. The today screen works very well, it is fast. Open programs from the today screen is also fast. When i start the WiFi connection the device is getting slower. Disable the WiFi connection, the device is still slow. Soft-reset is the only option.
However WinMo 6.5 is still beta it works very well. Tommorow i will be at work, then i can try this rom for daily use. (Phonecalls,Calendar,Text etc)

Wow, this is the best (so far) 6.5 ROM for the Diamond..
Works cool.. Any plans on releasing the kitchen version?

The moment i saw cloudyfa's name i jumped on to this.
Almost everything seems to work.
The Honeycomb thingy as well as the Titanium plugin seems a bit sluggish.
The 'In Call Recorder' does not work - any suggestions ?
I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to try wm6.5.

I also noticed some lag in the today screen.
But i installed the Ati driver and it seems that the today screen is much faster. Or it feels like it's faster

To install it, it's like other ROM? (with ActivSync, and run .exe?)
Or like other beta : copy ROM in internal storage and run it?

I have to agree with what most other people are saying...this is definitely the most usable 6.5 beta so far. Anyone have any ideas how to add more favourites on the titanium page, and also if it's possible to point the photo widget to internal storage rather than device storage?
Also, when i tried to login to the myphone app, it directed me to a webpage that allows you to sign up for the waiting list, and also give you the ability to sign in if you have a promotional code. Interesting...

Other 65 roms din't fit to daily usage bacause their was so slow or email
client didn't work but those things seems to be fixed in this rom and

I installed this rom and I am just amazed how well it works. very fast, titanium interface even faster after I install ati video drivers, stable ROM, all main functions work ok. wifi, gps, gprs, 3g, phone, sms, push pop3 mail, USSD. Enuogh Ram available after install all my programs ~ 58mb. What I didn't manage to make work is scroll inside folders and inbetween titanium items with sensitive area around button. (scrolling works now in contacts and phone). Normal scroll with up/down/left/right arrows works ok. Also, when scrolling with down arrow on titanium interface, the keyboard pops up suddently and after I close it, it stays closed. I'll keep testing this rom but I strongly consider keeping it for everyday use. Good work man!

Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the "3.0 series" of my ROM line, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements. Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device.
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. Known bugs
The lock screen interferes with the HTC Dialer application. It's best not to use it for now. If you have to, you will have to deal with weird behaviour from the dialer!
If you want to use the microsoft dialer instead, open up Advanced Config under Tweaks (in the Start Menu) and disable the phone skin (first item in the Phone section). Reboot...
The names appear to overlap in the dialer when scrolling down in it. This is a known bug in all 6.5 ROMs and there's nothing we can do about it until HTC updates their dialer ​

Hi, I've just installed this ROM. Really beautiful! Extremely quick but not much memory left, my device has only around 20 odd meg program memory. Still it is very quick like I said and all the programs installed seem to work OK. I cant seem to launch the phone pad or the qwerty though? I disabled the phone skin in advance config but still no joy. Is there any way to do this? The menus look the business! Thank you for the ROM, I would like to use it but I really need the keyboards to be working. I will leave it installed for tonight so if anyone wants to know anything about this ROM please ask while I got it on and I will be able to answer.

i tried almost all 6.5 roms and this is the fastest and best looking.
and youre 1st rom for diamond is even beter as most 6.5 roms that are updated lots.
i dont have much experience in rom cooking etc.
but isnt it a good idea to remove apps that doesnt work on diamond 1.
like flashlight?

is it possible to let photos store on internal storage/pictures instead of is/my doc/??

It seems that it's impossible to use another keyboard than the Microsoft's one even with sipchange (Tried eZinput 2.0 and FingerKeyboard2)

I have to work a little more to get the memory usage down more. I dont think I need a Diamond specific dialer, but I will cook that into the next release to see if it fixes it. It will have video call as well. No qwerty keyboard ? Strange.. I will look into that.

Let me know what other apps dont work on the Diamond. I didnt know the flashlight doesnt work on the Diamond. Need more feedback from you guys with things not work, as I do not have a Diamond to test on

I haven't had a lot of time to use this ROM yet but it seems pretty good so far and it has the new contact manager. I also like that the txt msg shows the date and time of a received txt now.
The screenshot is Black Bliss so if you want yours to look like that then download it. If not it will just be plain Titanium.
NOTE: There is no task manager with 23071 because theres a bug with showcase where it will lock up sometimes when closing tmail.exe so I didn't include it. Its something with the newer 6.5 builds and theres no fix yet

No I'm not but thats ok. Theres a newer 23060 thats out but I decided not to use that one for now.
I'm curious though if anyone is using this ROM have you noticed any problems with the battery drain? My battery is crap so I can't judge by mine anymore..

I have to say, seems to be tarring through the battery but I just realized I forgot to hard reset.... Doo. So, I will let you know. After a real test.

Nobody else is reporting problems with battery consumption in 23420 so I would be surprised.

Yes I applied all the fixes..As far as I can tell everything works fine..

what menu? if you're referring the new ui thats much bigger and the x and start button being at the bottom you cant..thats the direction ms is going to now to make it more finger friendly.
i know its a bit to get use to but at some point here real soon all 6.5 roms will be the same. i decided to bite the bullet and start using it so i would get use to it..after a couple days im started to like it a little more but my hand still goes to the top all the tim still.

Even when I drop titanium its still around 21mb. Without honeycomb or the new unlock screen maybe.

Problems so far :
- on some boots it just stays on splashscreen and hangs, softreset does the trick.
- after installig Automapa (something like tomtom) and widcomm bluetooth stack and rebooting it a few times it stopped working, only shows AT&T logo, then gray screen and stays that way.
Those 2 programs were the only ones installed, nothing more.
And I know they arent the problem 'coz I used them for about a year now.

Tips and tricks
1. HOW TO FLASH
always flash the ROM using MTTY
or you can do task 29 if you dont like following MTTY process
and perform a hard reset after flash to get optimum performance
2. PERFECT WALLPAPER
The ROM has transparent title and soft key bars you can make best use of it by properly aligning wallpaper as seen in screenshots above
get an image of VGA size(480 x 640)
set it as 'Today wallpaper' from pictures and videos(default photo viewer)
now set the same image as sense wallpaper
if you use image of other sizes it might not be aligned properly
3. DISABLE SENSE TABs
Our DIAMONDs are not meant to run sense and therefore can suffer from the lack of RAM
to save RAM try to disable the sense tabs that you are not going to use
specially photo and music tab
4. DISABLE SENSE HOME WEATHER ANIMATION (v2 only)
go to start>settings>today disable sense
use any registry editor and locate the key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Tweaks.EnableWeatherWallpaper"=dword:00000001
and set the value to DWORD:0
then do a reboot and re enable sense

i am trying to upload the ROM to megaupload but its going really slow
personally i dont think sense 2.5 works smooth on diamond
but the best ROM for sense 2.5 according to me is this give it a go

Thanks for your effort. Everything seems to be fine. I have been using the rom for 3 days and i haven't found any bugs.
Only once i had a frozen screen but i am not sure if it is rom related.
The speed and memory usage is better than last oem rom.
As a suggestion it would be useful to have clean ram included but it is a minor detail.
Thanks again. It is the best and more balanced rom i have tried.

Hi..really a nice rom and its fying om my diamond
i can see a vertical line after network coverage and ring status icons in home tab..is it a bug?? they vanish in any other tab.
my phone becomes unreachable even the network is full. any clues to this guys?? needs to restart everytime. think its coz of edge radio rom and airtel doesnt work with it..i hope.
overall really happly using ur rom .. hope to get solutions to my problems.

its there because of transparent titlebar in WM6.1(see post 2>point 2 for how to make most of it)
2 about the network
the indian DIAMOND is a 2G phone and you need to turn off 3G in comm manager (just guessing this not very sure i never faced such a problem)

actually the network problem is with all the roms i tryed. but with all the roms the network was airtel only. needs to find the behaviour with other Service providers.
do tell me if you need any help for any application development or beta testing stuff for upcoming roms..

hi! Thanks again for your rom. I'm using it for 10 days and it's still not lugging. My only one wish about this rom is to have a call history tab in sense with stylised icon EnegyRom like. It works amazing. Nearly perfect.
