[PSD] Calendar Wallpaper - G1 Themes and Wallpapers

I wanted the calendar from hero ROM but Hero isn't as fast as cupcake. So I came up with this one to use with my Cupcake ROM
its not an application, its a simple wallpaper that displays the month.

Made one that fits with Pure Calendar Widget by koxx (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=545097)
Here's the one im using for August 2009
I created a PSD file that is easy to customize and change the dates and months.
Link to the PSD File http://rapidshare.com/files/265442992/calendar.psd
There are 2 sizes, Large and Small one.
Used photoshop CS3 for this, not sure if it will open in previous versions of Photoshop
How to use:
1) Put the png file in your card
2) Use the png as your wallpaper
3) Change your settings from the Menu-> Extender (change homescreen to 2 and default to 1 or 2)
4) Change the lockscreen wallpaper
How to change your lockscreen wallpaper:
1) Open the theme you're using with winrar
2) Browse to the directory \system\framework-res.apk\res\drawable\
3) Look for zzlockscreenback.png and replace it with your 320x480 png image
4) close Winrar
5) resign the theme and flash (How to resign the theme - http://modmygphone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10591 look for the autosign tool)
6) boot into recovery and flash the newly signed theme
ToDo:
Need to find a way to edit the background in the pattern lock. Anyone knows how to?
Tested with:
CyanogenMod 3.9.7
Anyone willing to test in other ROM versions?

I've bee kinda hoping that we could run apps as the background something along the lines like this. Just the date could be selected and accessed by the menu button.
Good job I like it, wouldn't you have to update it every month? Lol

yeah just need to change the wallpaper monthly
As you can see, im still running some widgets with this one.
This works well if you only limit your homescreen to 2 (you can do this through the Extended menus)

You should have post the wallpaper to a link so we can try it on are own.

i never thought about doing that haha. good work around but a pain, gotta keep making new ones every month.

PSD released

This screenshot shows the ICS app launcher icons included in the zip below, which have been extracted from the apk's found in an ICS system dump, posted here
They can be used w/ Launcher Pro or any other launcher that will allow you to select a custom icon for the app. In LP hit MENU>ADD>SHORTCUTS>APPLICATIONS>select app from list>now click on icon(it says "touch icon to change it")>and then navigate to the ISCApps folder and select the corresponding Ice Cream Sandwich icon>then hit OK when returned to desktop.
When replying on a thread I realized you can upload png's so here they are, no need to download zip, and extract. Just right click on the icon that you want and hit "save as" and thats it!
thank youuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!!
Looks great, thanks!
nice thanks

Download the zip titled "Docks, Search & Circle" located at the bottom of this link under the ADDITIONAL IMAGES section and you'll have what you're looking for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18814714&postcount=103...granted you'll have to installed Desktop Visualizer, free off the Market, and use the 4x1 widget to link the image in this zip to the googlesearch app

Transparent Dialer

Since I've set all my screens with transparent widgets I wanted to have a transparent dialer/contact list as well.
Here are few shots from my homescreens:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I wanted badly for my dialer to look similar to my home screens and this what I came up with:
So far I was able to make all buttons transparent for in call status of the phone but I cant find where the black background is defined.
Here are screenshots of new phone apk and link is below if someone would like to use it till I make it transparent:
May be someone will enjoy this transparency as well so here are links to modified Contacts.apk and Phone.apk.
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zc5ebi4la8x97ja (Contacts.apk)
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?6vxah8zagg8avy3 (Phone.apk)
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?binzd778jmd1i9g (New Phone.apk)
For those of you who likes ICS theme and would like to have a transparent dialer
And links
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5wrlllwmyz2adsm ICS Contacs.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?shgn7xrr71s7v7j ICS Phone.apk
I'm kinda new to this phone so I didn't make flashable zip because I didn't wanna break anything.
You can adb push this apps to you phone in recovery:
adb push Contacts.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk
or you can copy it to your sd card and move it to /system/app/ using root explorer. If you choose second method you would need to reboot the phone for apps to work.
If any one wanna step in and make a flashable zip that would be nice and I can learn how to by looking into it.
Thanks for posting this up, I'm sure it'll get lots of hits!...do the calling and incoming call screens look transparent as well or have they been left alone? And if its been modified, could you post screenies of those as well? TIA!
Now working to make in call screen and dialer transparent as well.
Did it for my previous phone and hopfully can do it for this one as well.
Very nice, looking forward to additional transparent goodies, pushing now
Btw, is there any way we can pick our own wallpaper or does it already display our homescreen paper?

Please share wallpaper???

Good to see you like my works.
Wallpaper attached in the first post. (You can also go to this thread to download the full packages)
The clock widget is UCCW and the skin is attached in the first post also. (Inspired by vineetksirohi)
As for the weather widget, sorry but it can only be used in Hong Kong.
Soft buttons ☜
Nice theme !!
what I really want is that weather widget !! .. can you provide it with a separate download?
if not, at least state the name of that weather widget.
OH MAN, this is exactly what I've been looking for. great work!
thanks a bunch
P.S: Now, if you can finish the “Menu” and “Search” keys, everything will be perfect
weather widget only works in hk or it'll also work in taiwan?
thanks again for the wallpaper link! exactly what i need to stop using these stock wallpaper
Hey everyone, the version 2 pixel softkeys is released!!
I'm thinking how to make the menu button better.
BTW, the weather widget will not work in other country. When I was travelling to Taiwan (yes, Taiwan), the widget said that I'm still in Hong Kong.

[Theme][Icon pack][WIP] Updated the 3/02 - Moonshine ported to EMUI's theme engine

Hi everyone.
THIS PROJECT IS ON HIATUS FOR AN UNDETERMINED TIME SINCE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH SOME STUFF ON BIGGER PROJECTS AND WITH MY OWN LIFE
Updated the 3rd of February - More icons ported!
I currently am working on a massive project. I'm trying to port the well-known, beautiful, colourful, Moonshine icon pack by Valliant Pixels to the EMUI theme engine.
What's done so far?
For now I've only ported the dynamic calendar icons and apps from A to D. Wallpapers aren't done yet. The preview images are ready but are squeezed due to their wide resolution. (They're taken from the Play Store.)
How does it look like so far?
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see on the second screenshot, two of the themed icons (These are the only apps I have that are modified by Valliant pixels for the current version.) are modified.
The other apps will have the default EMUI icons.
(I know, my dark status bar battery icon isn't right but I'm too lazy to edit its icons.)
Where can I get it?
Click here. (13.2 MB, Google Drive link.)
How to install:
1) Copy or cut the .hwt file you've downloaded.
2) Put it either in your SD card or in your phone's internal storage in the "HWThemes". If it does not exists, create it.
3) Go into your theme manager (The Theme app) and go in the "Mine" tab.
4) If you don't have any particular theme applied (If you use the default theme), tap on "Moonshine icon pack" (The preview image isn't ready.) and tap on "Apply".
If you only want to change the icons, tap on "Customize", "Icons", and tap on the little "More >" button. Then go and select "Moonshine icon pack" and apply it.
What will be done?
More icons added to the theme, every wallpapers available in it, and updates as Valliant Pixels update their app.
Anyone would be interested into that?
Note: It might not work on devices running EMUI 2 and below. I only tested on EMUI 4.0 through my Huawei P8. (I'm posting this here because there are no P8 forums on XDA. )
Looks good !
Thanks a lot
I use Nova with moonshine so now i have also the same icon on system

Well thank you too for using it and for your feedback!
**Very** happy to find this thread!
Hope you do not quit!
I have attempted to do a similar 'port'... ran into the problem of needing to duplicate icons with different names to cover all the areas that EMUI shows icons.
Keep it up!

Glad to see it made you happy!
