Decided to port for my myself and thought I'd share. Thanks to the guys who started all this, JF, Haykuro, Moonsspoon and too many others to name without these guys my phone would not be the what it is now.

I have not seen anyone post the latest H build themed. I finished this last night, tested myself. I updated this with working browser that does not go to mobile sites.

change the language.. ... goto settings.. select the second last option ... then select the fst option change the language frm chinese 2 english.. viola!!!

I had not noticed your post, sorry. I started from fresh H rom. Mine does not require diff home screen. I think its about 80% ported, has browser w/bookmarks and zoom. All app icons are changed.

Sorry, it requires a wipe. Hykuro has not released a non wipe and there is no template yet. I wish there was the files are all over the place compared to RC33.

Okay. Thanks for explaining. So I think we can work together on this because I have a pretty simple way of doing this and it saves alot of time.
For some reason my builds are giving some people the
"process com.android.phone has stopped uexplectidly. please try again"
error and I can't figure out why. It looks like you figured it out. If you could explain what you did to eliminate the problem we can have working builds going for every theme out there.

Can someone tell me why this only seems to work with the H builds? I tried the H build and went back to the G, but I me the themes, especially the notification bar icons which can't be changed with apps like OpenHome. So why does the H build get all the modifications?

I use the H builds and was getting bored of stock icons. So I decided to port Gloss Suite over and share for anyone who also uses H with apps to sd. Also these builds get an update every Friday so no themer is going to want to do this every week, specially since there is no way of update without wipe.

Is the error upon rebooting? If so, the problem is HTCLauncher.apk I had that issue alot and replaced the home launcher and haven't had it since...

He didn't mess the the Launcher.apk he is getting forclose error on receiving and making calls. I think I found issue. I'm working on it now. I'll reply my finding soon.

@johnowa636: I have made a non-wipe theme template for you based on 5.0.2-Hr4.
It consists of:
-- apps
-- framework
-- media
-- fonts
If you decide not to use any of these, make sure to change the "update-script".

Should be fine. I do not believe that any of these files are different in those 2 versions.
Anyway, I will check once again and get back to you later.
This template should work for both H versions.
However, it will not work for G versions.
I have created a theme template for the G versions as well.
5.0.1Gr4-theme-template.zip
I should probably create a new thread with these templates.
Did anyone attempt to try to install gloss theme on hr5 zh yet?

I enjoy form and function, and wanted buuf back on my phone. so I did this mainly for myself and i thought i would share. I ported most of the old buuf theme and changed a few icons. Doing this was easier then i thought but it took longer than i thought (almost all day), hope my midterm grades dont suffer.

How can I install this on an existing JF1.50 update on my phone?
I tried renaming it to update.zip and just using alt+s and it didn't work.
then you didn't name it to update.zip try taking off the .zip and just leaven it as update
Great job porting this theme, had an issue with the phone processes force closing and got it worked out

Yep, I reflashed the regular JF 1.5 then reflashed the theme version without a wipe and everything's fine now. Re-downloaded the file and flashed 3 times with the same problem before that.

I did name it to update.zip and it installed and everything but when I open the phone the original theme comes up.
I tried naming update as you said and it says package not found
first have to give credit to haykuro, kron2, dudeoflife, ultraspikey, and androidd and STERICSON how could I forget
ill let the screen shots talk.......
tested install on apps and cache to sd also on without also tested with wipe and without but without wipe some of your apps wont work so just reinstall them for example fast bright stopped working after installing also toggle screen timeout
also included is pdf reader and new htc keyboard also the launcher from dudes build all work perfectly

should i switch the old 3g and edge back
i like the new one much more, but i can´t see anymore if i´m on edge or 3g. that is the only thing.
i installed just the theme and i can still make calls just fine
Hello, I have seen few themes around, but in every single one of them, I've been missing something. Tiny uneccessary things and details.
So I have created theme to my liking. rom-g's baterry mod with some icons from R64's theme, and few other icons made by me or taken from some other template. Just theme I think of as special one :-D
Maybe you may want something more then stock AOSP lockscreen and stock notification bar.

If you've found theese picture nice, then you may be willing to use another zip install.
JPU Version
Copy DeepBlueTheme_By_Virnik.zip file to your internal SD card, and install via CWM.
JPX/JPY Version
DeepBlueTheme_JPY_By_Virnik_v0.8.zip
PS: That one smilie left behind unthemed has been already fixed in the actual version
PS: If somebody knows how to make extended Power Menu, and is willing to help, I will welcome such help - Let me know. I have tried it myself, but I have messed it up somewhere, so it didn't worked.

Did you have any lagfix or tweaks enabled? Disable both and try again. If problem persists download a fresh copy of the file and reflash

Strange. I am running stock JPU with CF-Root and Voodoo lagfix, and all is working right.
BTW, I have done Purple version of the theme for my wife. Somebody interested?

First post updated with updated version of the theme
I am still unable to recompila apk, after changes regarding progress bar (I am using blue one from R64's theme now), and still unable to create reboot menu. It seems that apk tool have some problems with my 64b windows. I will try with linux later this week.
If somebody is willing to modify theme to add ex. power menu, let me know please. Because right now, I am helpless.
EDIT: Updated again. Added few modded apps, changed some icons, and such.

Having ported a GB ROM i figured i'll try my hand at a froyo port,
searched through the cdma threads again
and found a Froyo rom built by jaybob one of the cdma's finest developers
n began porting it
this is an aosp rom and is very much stable for daily use
for the moment i've only ported the black version and default version of the rom m hoping as time passes by i'll port all the themed versions found in the original thread

I've added in the basic gapps package for ease of downloads

if you want full gapps just wipe cache and dalvik before you flash after 1st reboot

Compared to Decked ? Hmm, difficult to say at this stage. Feels fast and definately lighter. Apps2SD works BTW as does GPS Google Nav. Am still at work and now V. low on battery so have stopped fiddling till i get home to my charger.
So far would have to say this is at least as fast as any froyo i've used with my usual setup.
This one feels really good Will try it for a while, and if i still like it i will mash together a theme to make it complete for me
well,this ROM is very smooth,feels quick enough for daily use..
experienced no lags so far,we'll see how it runs in the next few days..
now if only Habarug ports his ICS theme from VE6 (as look is not really an upside of this room )
