Hello!
I have a big question. Is there a program for Windows Mobile, that would enable me to dial using bluetooth headset on X1 the way I could on non-wm phones (e.g. S60)?
I've tried Voice Command, but pronouncing non-english names and surnames just did't work. Vito Voice2Go and VoiceDial did't seem to recognise my HBH-PV702, as nothing happened if I pressed the button.
Is there some other software that I could try?

Use Voice Command andt give your contacs "Nick names" ounder the contacs name expanned menu.
Then you can pronouncing the "Nick Name" and not the real name.Works great for me.

I recently bought the g-smart i128.
The device comes with the Cyberon Voice Commander which i found very complicate to use.
I have install the Cyberon Voice Dial on top.
The funny part is the using my SE HBH-PV705 BT handset, when i press the connect button it just launches the commander or (after tweaking) its just connects the audio BT profile nad the ppc displays the dial pad.
I need the Cyberon Voice Dial to be launched by pressing the BT key NOT the Cyberon Voice Commander.
Running the sddialer.exe from the g-smart, works. Launching it from the BT doesn't.
Can anyone help ?

Try the following. Rename the voice dial file (I don´t remenber the name, I think is Sddialer.exe or something like that) to voicecommander.exe. There will be an pop up alert saying that you are goint to overwrite a rom file, it doesn´matter you overwrite it.
Now it will be work.

Hello Fernando - I have tried that, but then, when i press my connect button on the BT, it opens the audio channel with the phone and it displays the dial pad.
I installed MS Voice Dialling and it works better. still i would prefer the Cyberon Voice dial...

I know that When I installed MS Voice Command I had to reassign the button under settings. Once I reassigned the button from Voice Dialer to Voice Command it worked fine. Did you try that?

The MS Voice dial works fine after deleting the sddemon.exe from STARTUP directory.
My wish is to have the Cyberon Voice Dial to work and not MS Voice Dial or the Cyberon Voice Comander.
Any other suggestions please ?

I dont, but i cant make the Voice Commander to work. I wish i had Voice Dialing working, but its not...
I do prefer Voice Dialer to Voice Commander. It is just easy and works and dials who i ask it to (I don't care that I have to record my own tags) VCmd, MS Voice Command et al are all simply too complex and get it wrong too often in the car, which is where I need voice dialling!!!!
Unfortunately I have lost Voice Dialer since flashing my orange m600 with a dopod ROM, so can you tell me where you got the install program as I cant find it

voice dialer vs. voice commander
when I upgraded my apache to wm6 I lost voice dialer. Found voice commander but it gets it wrong more than right, even with voice tags added. never had a problem with voice dialer, so when I saw a cab for voice dialer, I installed. weird thing, though, is while voice dialer showed up in the settings and I could add tags to my contacts, I could not find the program to actually use it. Can anyone help?!

This setting will allow Voice Command to use the Excalibur phone speaker to respond to vocal commands, if you don't have a bluetooth headset connected.
IMPORTANT: Soft Reset to enable the changes to Voice Command
After the soft reset, press and hold the home key. This is the default Record Application Button which activates Voice Command. When you hear the beep say, "Help". Voice command will then guide you through the available voice commands.
IMPORTANT: Do not talk directly into the microphone. Hold the phone 4 inches/100mm from your voice. The response from Voice Command will take a few seconds.

Enable Voice Command with a Bluetooth Headset
With the current beta release of WM6, you need to modify the following registry settings to use your bluetooth headset with this feature.
NOTE: Your Excalibur has to be application unlocked to make modifications to the registry.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule
The string value needs to be changed from "OEMAGW.dll" to "\Windows\vcbthag.dll".
IMPORTANT: Soft Reset to enable the changes to Voice Command
After the phone reboots, your bluetooth headset will now be able to use Voice Command by pressing the button on your headset. Wait for the beep, then speak the command.

Most of time, Voice Command works fine, but those times it doesn't more than make up for the times that it does

I tried voice command 1.6 did not like it and now my dash has no add voice tag feature. How do I get it back?

Try a hard reset. That should restore it to factory settings. You'll have to input your ActiveSync settings again and install any other apps you want.
I agree. I have VC1.6 on my WM6 and I am really dissapointed with my experience. I watched that very detailed video tour of the program before it was released and it made it seem like it cooked dinner, shoveled the snow, and aced all my exams. However, I find myself constantly arguing with the stupid lady voice about her being deaf, not being able to pronounce/recognize the right way my friends are called, and just being plain dumb. I thought it would be really useful while driving, but 80% of the time I give up and press the keys away to get what I want.

To jromney: well said, thanks guy, it works like a charm on my Dash! Now I love VC, like you said, it a powerful application. I have Miss. Botron's voice volume turned up to the max. The Girl is alright with me!(lol) We talk all the time!(lol) By the way jromney, you got the best VC bluetooth headset fix on the planet, so easy a caveman can do it! (lol) Works perfect with my Plantronics 590A bluetooth headset!
Nice Software + voice speed dial
For those of you that have problems dialing strange non English names I fod a good way of dialing. In my HTC p3300 I have a software called Voice speed dial. With it I can make a voice tags forall my contacts. Then on my BT a2dp I press the utton for voice dialing, then I say "Start Voice Speed Dial" then it turnes on the voice speed dial and I say the name "name" and then the voice speed dial recognizes it on the spot.
I works very nice.
Would anyone like to share the file for voice command or split the cost on the purchase from handango. I do miss that feature of having messages read aloud and commanding programs via voice.

Try this great alternative "Vito Voice2Go v1.51"
Just search it in ed2k or p2p search engine by:" Vito Technology Vito Voice2Go v1.51 Xscale Wm2003 Wm5 Wm6 Cracked-Sympda.zip"
Don’t forget to disable the "mwc 1.6" if you installed it earlier
And make sure you change the voice command button to "voice2go" program
Didn’t try it yet with Bluetooth headset

i just installed this on my dash(updated to 1.33 htc rom) my home button is using to voice tag crap does anyone know how to fix it to voice command... everything about the program works it just doesnt let me use the home key to activate can anyone help?

Hi all,
I have a problem with the voice dial button on the Orbit while TomTom is active. When I press the button it starts the preinstalled voice dialing application and not the MS Voice Command function.
I have mapped the key to MS Voice Command but it seems that TomTom overrides this settings and using the preinstalled voice dialing application. Without TomTom active it work perfectly.
Any ideas on registry settings for TomTom or other settings to change?
Btw. I'm using MS Voice Command v1.6

I'm using Mechle's O2 Premium ROM with the included Voice Dial software. I just tried MS Voice Command 1.6 to compare, and I didn't like it. After uninstall, my voice tags were removed and my BT car Kit no longer works correctly. I tried to delete the device and add it again but it's still not working correctly.
I'm using the BT Parrot kit, and now when I push the talk button, it just opens the phone dialer, instead of Voice Dialer, and mutes the radio. I believe it's just a registry change, but don't know what to look for. Can someone point me right direction to fix this?
Also, I can't activate Voice Dialer from the wired headset. Just redial with double press.
Hard reset always fixes the problem.
i seem to be having some trouble with my dash...i have the kavana win mobile 6.1 installed...and i cant seem to get the phone to read off messages or emails or tell me whose calling or anything... the bluetooth routes correctly during calls and i can use the button on the headset to activate voice prompt
