Any list of recommended apps? - Touch HD Themes and Apps

As my HD is on the way, I would like to get some nice apps downloaded.
I do the following thing with my current ppc (xda mini):
mp3 player (auto off function, needed for sleeping with music)
Ebook reader (txt,html, chm, pdf...)
GPS (for driving and jogging)
some games
system tweak
Would someone suggest some apps for all these tasks?

Just use the search button and i guarantee that you'll find everything you need

I would like to make a list of all apps I use, which should be the apps most people need.
The advantage and disadvantage of PPC is that they are too many apps for the same task. and the quality, stability are different from one to another.
That's why I think it is necessary to make a list

the apps one uses is not what the most people need.what is useful for me might not be useful for you and so on.The list is a very personal thing, it depends on personal tastes and needs.
have you seen this sticky?

Also not all applications are free. Some prefer freeware with limited functions and some other people don't mind paying for better software.
for example Gps Cycle is a good free sport Gps software but you can't compare it to the RunGPS UV(not free).

Must-have software for WM6?

what do you consider to be the must-have software for Windows Mobile 6?
this will illicit a vast response.
my .02 cents worth......
a registry editor
a weather program
Pandora's Naked 7 beta 2 rom so I can install my must haves and not sacrifice storage or Ram!
I don't use any HTC stuff, it clutters my screen and the clock is just too big!
SPB Pocket Plus 4 (I like tabs with icons I can hit with my finger)
QMenu (does all the X functions of wstask and more, very little mem used)
PocketToolMan (excellent program w/small footprint on mem)
Pocket Weather 2
PocketInformant 8 (Must have to replace calandar and contacts)
Voice Command
Schaps Adv Config 2 (Latest, great for tweaking glyph and file cache etc.)
Schaps Java
Net Frame 3.5
TouchFlo Keyboard (nice keyboard, sort of a mem hog though)
VTap (Youtube/Google video & wiki in a fast easy to install program with built in player)
Extra's
Pocket Music Player (better than WMplayer + easy playlist and EQ)
Opera Mini 4 (fastest browser I have found! Can't download though)
IGuidance
GoogleMaps
MSN LiveSearch (nice hands free speech searches)
Opera 8.65 ( need this for tough webpages and downloads)
Pocket Radio (Sirius & XM interface and much easier than others)
Resco file manager (wifi network browser for easy transfer of files to SD card)
Occasional use:
Memaid
SKTools
That's about it!
Chris
Orb 2.0 - media streaming
HTC Home plug-in
HTC Camera Album
HTC Voice Recorder
HTCustom
Flashlight
Sleuth's PTT Fix
TCPMP
Cyberon Voice Speed Dial
PIM Backup
These are the first to go back on when I flash a new ROM...
Resco File Manager
O2 Plus 2.3
SBS Mobile Shell
IGuidance 4.0
Finger Friendly Contacts
MSN LiveSearch
Opera 8.65
It really matters what you use your phone the most for though...
entertainment, work or phone.

searching Musicplayer with Alarm-function and some other software

Hello!
I 've already read the xda-wiki for the touch hd, but i doesn't find some for my mobile.
I'm searching for:
1) Flash player (to view Videos but on the website of adobe, is no download for the mobile)
2) Music-player with Alarmclock included (to use .mp3 for wakeup melodie)
and maybe other prog's to have more fun with the mobile.
At last - it's will be perfect, if the prog's have an opinion to change the language to german
I hope u can help me
And i'm sorry for my English
friendly regards
Schurly!
1. look for Flashlite 3.1 in the forum
2. look for G-Alarm in www.ageye.de
For music player with alarm included, even in german language, try MortPlayer
i used MortPlayer on my Artemis
and the alarm rings sometimes and sometimes not^^
thanks for the info
PocketMusic has an alarm.
Skyfire browser will let you watch flash videos online, but there isn't native WVGA available (although it will stretch VGA to fill a WVGA screen) so your pictures and content will look a little pixelated.
G-Alarm is probably one of the best alarm programs out there with the ability to show up on S2U2, HTC Home, Windows alarm as well as being able to go through a music playlist and other cool things like mazes, puzzles, quiz. I like the "shake-to-snooze" function as well =P

Touch Pro 2 & Kinoma Play - Very Slick

Hi,
I am currently loving my Touch Pro 2 and agree with most people on this forum that it is currently the top Windows Mobile at the moment. I have found TF3D to be highly responsive and fluid but felt a little limited by the lack of customization in terms of the number of program shortcuts it supports. I previously came from the Omnia with Winterface loaded which worked well interms of the amount of shortcuts you could enter. After doing a search on here I have seen that Winterface may cause a problem with TF3D so I didn't want to risk running it.
I recently downloaded an update for Kinoma Play which used to be my primary music player on the Omnia and I have found that it is ideal as both a music player and application launcher. It must have gone through a big facelift recently as I hardly recognized the interface. It works on the same pinciple as Winterface (Iphone rip off) although it's not meant to be a today screen replacement so it works as a nice addon for TF3D. After playing around with it you can have up to 9 home screens that scroll from left to right or up and down with 15 icons on each (135 shortcuts available) as well as a seperate favourites folder.
It has a nice slick interface that currently intergrates Music, an Orb streamer (which I stream all my music over wifi), Photo viewer, Video player (poor codec support), Facebook, Twitter, Last FM, RSS, Mobihand app store and too many others to mention. I thought I would post a Youtube video so you can see how it works on the Touch pro 2 in case anyone was in the same boat as me.

What apps do you use on your TP2/Tilt2?

Just curious about which apps everyone is using on their TP2/Tilt 2 and how often do you use those apps?
Main application is SXRadio2 to listen to Sirius, works great!
Opera.
Nothing else really.
BeyondPod for audio/video podcasts (No Espn Radio app yet)
Treesizze free mobile (disk space allocation)
Fring (IM)
Google Maps
AP MObile News App
Facebook
I used to use a ton of others but recently the Tilt2 with seems to struggle with this new HTC messaging overlay and is slow potatoes. Just me?
I use lots
Clean RAM, S2P, Bing, Google Maps, DynaInk, Sprint Football, Chess Genius, Light Saber, Doppler Radar, Deluxe Moon, Amazon it, Stopwatch, APOD, Daily News, IMBD Mobile, Animation creator, Batt line sync, Registry Editor, and a few more, but I forget. There's just so many.
Edit (oh the Overclock app! Thats a great one!)

you need OCT(overclock tool) I was having a case of the slows after implementing HDWALLs and she's running rock solid stable dynamically overclocked from 115mhz to 652mhz and it even increased my battery life.
