Couldn't find this on appmarket or appbrain so not sure where I got it from but it is avaiable to download from skynetsoftware dot com/myPlayer/index.aspx?platform=android
The 10 above apps are free to download but NDrive and TVU have limitations and require subscription. Waze and Ndrive obviously rely on the SGS GPS which isn't the most reliable/accurate.

p.s None of the apps need Root. I got froyo on my phone and all the apps work perfect. Especially Tango has improved with froyo

Hi guys! May be someone will develop an analog of htc messaging client for all resolutions. It's more powerful and nicer then standard wm client. I think this app will have a success

Must Have Apps for the HTC One X

Hiya everyone. This type of thread isn't new to XDA as it's on almost every device fora, but I decided to bring it over here aswell.
I'm going to share the most useful applications to have on a HTC One X and would like you to share your must have apps. If an app gets mentioned by numerous people, that isn't on this list, I'll be sure to add it.
Rooted apps Section​
CPU Sleeper Quad Core - Since we have Quad Core CPUs, we have a CPU 0 and a CPU1/2/3, core 0,1,2,3 while the screen is off we really only need to have 1 core active "CPU0", this App will make sure CPU 1/2/3 shuts off while the screen is off, then resumes normal usage when the screen comes back on.(You need to pay for this app)
SuperSU - SuperSU is the Superuser access management tool of the future. *ROOT*

Thanks! I have always used ES File Explorer. But I have just downloaded Solid Explorer and will be trying it. It definitely looks better! :good:

The different apps, I would tell as worthy :
- hancent SMS -> pop-up, emoji support, fully themable, etc... etc...
- Dolphin Browser (beta?) Fast themable and good looking browser, the beta version seems even better !
- K9-Mail, best email client if you have special email servers (other then the mainstream ones...)
- quickoffice as the best office suite (even faster to open pdf files as the official one)
- Ultimate Backup instead of titanium, try it Looks great and works better for me

+1 on Ultimate Backup. I am using Ultimate Backup Pro. The interface is easier to use and it works better for me. I tried Titanium several times given all the good reviews but always gave up in the end.

Thanks for the recommendation but all of my friends are stuck on Whatsapp, so it is hard to move away from it. I might try it out with my wife though :good:

Hiya everyone. This type of thread isn't new to XDA as it's on almost every device fora, but I decided to bring it over here aswell.
I'm going to share the most useful applications to have on a HTC One v and would like you to share your must have apps. If an app gets mentioned by numerous people, that isn't on this list, I'll be sure to add it.
Power Toggles - This is simply the best toggle app around. Able to toggle lots of main features.
Picsay Pro - This is a brilliant photo editor, but limited compared to some others. My personal favourite.
Rotation Locker - WYSIWYG. It locks your screen to either Portrait or Landscape. Really useful on some apps.
XDA App ICS Blue Colours/Themed - Our favourite forum app but with a complete red or blue colour theme thanks to our own Whiskey103
Memory Usage - Lists all current apps and tells you current memory usage, peak memory usage and priorities.

For MY hov it's working better than expected. Really awsome!!! :victory:
I used to have SetCPU for overclocking, governors, profiles... Now I have just that one - does all... :good:
But, it's not working for some, others are not seeing any difference, well, just need to try it and configure it...
I set it on boot, have AI mode, configured like that:
- CPU Frequency: 245760 MIn, 1497600 Max
- CPU Governor: smartassV2
- I/O Scheduler: cfq
- Safe Clean: Every Hour
In the beginning I had one day of battery, with CetCPU it was day and a half, now I have full two days... - same usage... That's enough for me...
Of course, there may be some better configuration/setting that will work even better. So far I tried some and that's what's working best so far ...
