Here are icons for the tab bar and their accompanying preview images.
I can't take credit for the images. I took most of the images from the Internet and modified some of the original manila files e.g. I've added reflection to the three stock images and one of the footprint images (only the one on the bar and not the images on the selector and settings page).
Use the cab or copy the individual manlia files from the zip to the windows folder on your device.

How did you manage that? maranello's cab creator doesn't work for 2.5 tab icons.

I didn't load any wallpaper but went directly to create cab
then I selected the folder with my manila files in the left part and pushed he button [add files] and they appeared at the right part.
did not select wallpaper or anything else just created the cab (and renamed it).

Hi there,
Is there a slider with OSX icons for Wm 6.1 TouchFlo 2.0
I just got my phone (HTC Diamond 2) & would love to have the OSX icons, but don't know how to get them.
These here do not work in my device and the HDWall Slider part does not work, calling me not have proper version of .NET framework (I updated it to as fresh version as possible).
Please, help me guys if you would have a moment.
Would very much appreciate your help.

Did not know, that it does not work for others as well
unfortunately HTC changed the *_manila files with the different manila versions.
I think that's why it is so difficult to make a skinning application like HDwal.

Hi There,
When I changed to a new rom I found out that version 1 of my theme didn't work. The images had to be rearranged in to a new size.
So I did that and made some other changes too.
In version 2 a slider bar is included to get a more OSX stylish look.
Some of the newer HTC icons were already with reflection and I must say that I like some of them better than the icons I put into V1.
The newer manila 2.5 has an added feature, namely the date on the calendar Tab icon. So I kept more of the original icons in this new version.
The guitar is also a bit bigger.
Tip: rearrange the tab order to have the music tab in view on your home tab for easy (direct) access. [home; messages; mail; calendar; music]
In post #1 are a zip file and a cab available.
(the zip includes the png-files)
I hope you like it and use it

I don't know which manila files to use. I've gone from manila 1.3 directly to 2.5.
But the images can be found on my deviant (link in my signature).
PS did you try the v1 cab? maybe you're lucky and it works.

My aim is to centralize WM6.5 Themes and any discovery on how to skin items such as messageboxes, etc. and any discovery on which could be changed via registry values.
I myself have just started on playing around with it and here is what I have so far:
1) Files could be saved anywhere on the Storage memory. I opted to save my image files and tsk files on \My Documents\Themes folder instead of overwriting the default files on the \Windows directory.
2) Which could be skinned: Bubble, Listview, Menu, Messagebox, Scrollbar, Tabview, Taskbar, Toast, UpDown Control.
3) Main Registry keys/values to look at:
- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\MultiColorTheme\
- HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\MultiColorThemeEnabled = 1
- HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Bubble, etc.
- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\MultiColorTheme\
- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\MultiColorTheme\ThemeColors
- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\MultiColorTheme\ThemeValues
As an example i created a theme posted on post#2.

5. Save your TSK and create a new CAB. This will be your theme installer.
6. Drag and drop all of your TSK theme elements and the TSK itself into the files section and put all of the files in /My Documents/Themes/*/ and select Hard Code Path.
7. Test your theme by installing it. Select your theme in the Today settings and check that all of your theme elements are displayed. If some aren't, make sure you have everything in the right path and at the right resolution (also check filename!). If you had to edit something, just recompile your theme and test again.
8. If your theme works, share it! We all love a new theme in our midst Make sure you take some screenshots (preferably of the Home Screen and the Dialer with the right soft-key pressed) with SPB Screenshot. Then add your screenshots to the PSD template that is provided in the first post of this thread.

The cab file contains the tsk and the image files. yes, I implemented the registry values in the tsk file.

I have a hermes with a cooked WM6.5 rom. Although available ram is quite low, i think it's worth it.

a tsk file is just a cab file. I use WinCE Cab Manager to make my tsk files and cab files.
I'm still trying to figure out registry keys to change the colors. I found a few but not that much. I was able to change the some colors via Basecolor1, Basecolor2, Basecolor3 and Basecolor4. Also via ThemeValues. Please see the registry keys on post 1.
I hope anybody who has a more comprehensive detail on the registry keys to change so we can better control the colors of the theme would post them here.

just.. there were so many color entries i didnt know what any of them corresponded to
also..
does anyone know if its psosible to get 4 columns of start menu icons..
i tried to edit the cpr file that corresponds changed it from 3 to 4 but then the start menu wouldnt load

Manila is an extra "shell" that HTC puts on top off WM6.

I used a trick to overcome a problem with manila 2.5 showing a black stripe across the screen.
Is that what you are referring to?

My stock rom was a dutch version with old manila, so I've used USPL to change that.

I recognize your frustration, because I'm only a "junior" member myself and it's only since recent that I try to skin the Blackstone.
Skinning has (more or less) only to do with images and not as much with programming. I have very limited knowledge about the programming part.
So here is how I see it:
WM6.1 is your operating system (comparable to xp or vista on your desktop.
Manila is an extra shell. You have manila 1.3 (like I did)
WM6.1 and Manila are put in the Read Only Memory (ROM) of the Blackstone.
Because it's read only, you can't write in a normal way to this memory. Flashing can been seen as a special way to write in this "read only" memory.
What is referred to as a ROM on this forum is actually WM6 and Manila and ....) that will be written in the ROM of your Blackstone.
You can flash (change to) Manila 2.5 directly. It's not necessary to go via 2.1 to 2.5.
How to flash a ROM is explained in the link I gave you earlier.
I recommend that you read this thoroughly!
The rom that I flashed to get manila 2.5 (and keep WM6.1) is found here:

If you like to, you can flash any Rom found in the Blackstone ROM development section. Even with WM6.5.
I hope that this is good enough for you to get started. It takes a lot of reading of posts on this forum to get a bit of understanding. I only pointed out two threads, but you probably need to read more before you can flash!

So what I am saying is that you better worry about your own patience.

I really don't know, but if it's manila 2.5 on your Diamond I guess it can be done by installing the cab.
If it doesn't work you can always uninstall the cab.

it took 30 seconds or something like that, nothing has been erased and i can synchronize my phone with achtivesync.

the steps i followed dont say anything about a hard reset, but some other threads say you always have to do a hard reset after flashing. what is a hard reset?

It turns out that I should have named the theme
[Theme] OSX style (manila 2.5 & WM6.1)
So for those who already are using WM6.5 here is a fix for the taskbar and commandbar (aka softkeybar).
The cab puts an image in the windows directory and edit the registry for it.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\SoftKeyBar - SoftKeyBarThemeImage
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\TaskBar - TaskBarThemeImage
The image is the same as what you see at the preview in post #1.

I have a litle request from u guys.. i Kept trying to change my slider icon bar in cloudy's rom for so long, but they didnt change ... anyway, i found out am using slider icons for old manila on new manila. I searched for slider icons for manila 2.5 but didnt find any . However, i tried to make my own .. i downloaded HDwall , picked some icons that i liked .. and followed the steps on HDwall thread, but again , icons didnt change . So kindly , i will attach the icons i found good lookin and for anyone familiar with making those slider icons into a .cab ... i will really appreciate it if u make one for me . IF u r a black & blue lover .. u might like it too :d . Anyway , here are the attached files + the software info

I have a litle request from u guys.. i Kept trying to change my slider icon bar in cloudy's rom for so long, but they didnt change ... anyway, i found out am using slider icons for old manila on new manila. I searched for slider icons for manila 2.5 but didnt find any . However, i tried to make my own .. i downloaded HDwall , picked some icons that i liked .. and followed the steps on HDwall thread, but again , icons didnt change . So kindly , i will attach the icons i found good lookin and for anyone familiar with making those slider icons into a .cab ... i will really appreciate it if u make one for me . IF u r a black & blue lover .. u might like it too :d . Anyway , here are the attached files + the software info

is there any guide about making those manila 2.5 sliders on my own?
You dont need a GUIDE once you have a Slider CAB you can open it with WinCE CAB Manager and extract the files, then with CFC GUI you can see them and export to PNG Files in your Desktop PC then you can see how they look like.. you can create your own icons they need t be exactly the same size etc like the default one and you can replace them with the CFC GUI after this you need to make them in one single cab again with WinCE and you are ready for all this things you need only 2 Programs and to find out by yourself..
Download WinCE CAB Manager and CFC GUI and you are ready to go.
P.S this is how i found how to make whole Themes by myself without a Guide and without anyone to explain me what i need so its not so hard and now i tell you what tools you need all others is in your hands. You can create sliders, clock, and many other things with this programs whole themes and mods etc.
And for future don`t write things like "slider icons for Cloudy's rom" because not all peoples know Cloudy ROM there have Touch FLO 3D. Sense 2.1 and Sense 2.5 so in this case that you are with 2.5 Sense you need to write only this because all the themes icons cabs etc who are made for 2.5 Sense will work in all the ROM`s with this version of Manila...

Somehow ... while the icon from the .cab is shown in the top left corner and the rest is white .. its shown correctly on the device ( right size and no white background) .. while my icons are too big + they have a white background
Oh and in the cfc gui .. its written that the icons from the .cab are 8bpp,alpha formated while mine are 4bpp ( without that alpha thingy)
am really confused... any tips?
Of Course the files need to be PNG files and this white area is not white is TRANSPERENT so if you want to make this monitor icon the Monitor must to be smaler and to be in the same position exactly where is the original icon and the whole png to be again 256x256
Remember the most importmantly is the Image to be on the same place not only in the top left corner but exactly on the same place because if is a litle bit on left on the device will look more left or right so need to be on the exact place, see the example its ugly because i make it fast just to show you what i mean.
I make fast example the file need to look like this, when you download the file and open with any image editor you will see that this is not WHITE its fully Transperent
ALL image files in the Manila are like this they are not just Images they are PNGs with transperant and etc later when you try to do something other like clocks slider and other visual things you will see its everywhere the same, so once you understand about this you will be able to make everything

Edit : The first 181 Icons posted !!!!!!!!!
This package has all the icons that are used in NRG GTX rom.
You can install them by just copy all of them in the \Windows folder and softreset (then you can't have back the originals) or by using and icon change app.
If after copy the files and softreset you dont get the icons in startmenu and manila then use those utilities to clear cache and reset.

Energy GTX Task bar MODS
Those are mods for Nrg GTX Roms task bar..
The battery and ram info that shows in the left of the task bar are the all in the #2 mod
All files needed are in the rar file in the end of the #2 mod
1. The first one its pretty simple.
Go Start menu/settings/home and select them "EnergyRom 2010 New"
Click on the Attached image at end of the post, and then reclick the image in the windows that is open.
When the image is opened alone in a window left click on the image and select save image as and give the name energy+taskbar.png.
Copy the file to your device in \Windows folder (keep a copy of the original just in case)..
and softreset
You will get this:

Go to start\settings\today and select "Android White 3" theme

copy the file "DarkNinjaTaskbar.png" to \windows

Copy the folder Battclock2.1.2 to \program\files

I copied all Icons into \windows folder, restarted the device. The New icons appear in START menus but not in manilla/Sense/CHT. What's wrong?
For those running CHT 1.8, should all files in Wireless.RAR be copied into \Windows folder, or everything BUT the *.exe files?

The zip extention was added cose xda permits only zip files not rar but winzip will open the file anyway.
Manila (sense) keeps a cashed version of the icons that use.
When you change icons you must clear that cashe.
Use this litle util to do that. Just run it and softreset when it asks.
The other app its a general clear temp utility
If you have any custom apps you want them in the theme just post the icons here and i will convert them for you to colossus gtx
The wirelles its only for the cht 1.71 user to have the functionallity of the 1.85 (you have that allready).

Yeah, but I love those Icons. Can they somehow replace the ones used in CHT 1.8x?
By the way, the latest ENERGY GTX (see my signature) is a flyer, and a keeper. Apart from issues I'm having with iExplorer all is fine...

Yes ... the format for names that cht use are:
Switch icons:
* CHT_switch_bluetooth.png
* CHT_switch_wifi.png
* CHT_switch_vibrate.png
* CHT_switch_BLABLABLA
search in \windows folder find the one that you want to change keep a copy of the original and after you rename my icons to the ones that cookie use (For example for wifi my icon has to be renamed to "CHT_switch_wifi.png")
then copy them to \windows

mmmm unable to have your icon on the program you provided.
I've copied all the png images under windows directory.
Added the program using the "Add to start menu" function.
But it still show the .exe icons and not the png images.
Also deleted the cache, with no luck.
Can you help me?

Here are the first 141 icons with names to much the NRG roms.
I have to make some more to have the full set
There is no need to use icon changer to apply them ... just copy the files to \windows folder.
After that you must use SICC to clear the manila cashe so the new icons appear.
I will continue to make and the rest of the icons to have all of the NRG roms icons in this collection

For softkeys
go Startmenu/settings/today and select theme energy 2008
For the weather bar i think its a bug on the sencity theme.... select another weather/clock view...
If they dont fix it in the next version i will try to fix it
Yes, if select another clock its ok like yours.
I've already tried the themes 2007 and 2010, tried now 2008 soft reset but looks like 2007, the buttons don't look like yours.

Have you noticed that, when you have a new message, if you go to the messaging tab, the alert bubble remains under the slider? I wonder if this is a bug, or is it supposed to be like that?

Probably its a bug ...sencity its not complete....
Here is the file for the black and white bubbles
Remove the .txt from the end of the file name (its a manila file) and...
Copy to \windows folder with total commander
As always keep a copy of the original

This is weird... With your first set of icons, for example, the icon from PIM Backup was changed after copying the files to \Windows folder, and now, with the full set of icons it remains with the original icon that NRG placed in is ROM
EDIT: Found the problem for this... Some of the icons aren't replaced in \Windows folder, and both remain theme, the original and the one from your iconset, but the name of one of them is in CAPS, like this: startpim.png (the original) and STARPIM.PNG (the one from your iconset)... Any solution for this? I copied the files with Total Commander! Copying them with Resco File Explorer gives this error (with one of the unchanged icons): "Cannot copy file 'startie.png'. System cannot write to specified device."

For example, in the internet folder icon you used a different template and placed a small folder in the bottom right corner. The three folder icons I mentioned above don't have that.

For the copy of the files i allways use the Resco Explorer and never had any problem like this...
if the problem is still there after softreset let know and i make a mortscript for you to auto copy the files.

Check those files to see if the are read-only and if they are change the option and then copy...
