Question: Android Lock Screen - myTouch 3G, Magic Themes and Wallpapers

Hi
I am wondering whether it is possible to add the next appointment to the android lock screen.
I've not seen this in any theme yet.
I don't like to unlock every time I quickly want to check how much time I have till I have to go to the next meeting.

Reminders and Text's skin - removal help!

Originally I installed something which disabled the skin that covers the incoming texts and more importantly the calender reminders.
When it was back to the basic windows pop-ups I was able to dismiss a calender appointment for 5 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, 1 day, which I have to use all the time since my daily schedule is so dynamic.
Currently I have the TF3D unchecked in the today settings screen, but still get the TF3D popup overlay (?) and can only dismiss my appointments which will not remind me again at all. This is screwing me up big time, please help.
TIA,
Dan
Fix finally found with different keywords and google.
Thanks for the fix!!

Is there an App that will let me set screen timeout to 20 seconds?

Hi folks,
I find 15 seconds a little short for display timeout and feel that 30 seconds is a bit wasteful and probably uses a little more battery than required. Is there any app out there that will let me set the screen timeout to 20 or 25 seconds? what i've seen on the marketplace lets me go 15 30 and then up to minutes etc..
Any help appreciated
Im on stock 4.04 and unrooted
Cheers,
Mick
Screen Timeout Widget lets you set anything from 1 second to 60 minutes and every second between that.
have you tried it? the sliders seem to start around the one minute mark?

[Q] Refreshing widget at a particular time

I have data off on my phone most of the time. Ideally, I'd like to use tasker/AutomateIt/etc. to turn on WiFi every day at ~6am and sync my calendar and contacts and refresh a Zooper widget to show the weather forecast for the coming day. Searching around it seems like there is no way to force a refresh of the Zooper widget. Is the best/only way to do this to set the Widget to a 30 minute refresh and make sure the WiFi is turned on for, say, 45 minutes every morning? Would this guarantee the widget would get refreshed at least once?
probably.

[Q] Notification counts slow to update

This isn't a huge problem because everything works but it is an annoying item that seems like it should be able to be resolved. I have a widget created in Zooper for the counts of my sms messages and three gmail accounts. The issue is, that the widget doesn't update unless I turn the phone off and on again. So for example, I get an email and it shows a 1 next to that account. I go in gmail and read it. I press my home button to come back to the screen and the counter is still at 1. This doesn't change to 0 until I turn the phone off and on. It also will go to zero when the the minute changes on my zooper-made clock widget.
Any idea how to get my counts widget to update when I've read or cleared my notifications without having to turn my phone off or wait for the minute to change?
I use tasker for a few things and was hoping there was a way I could just set up a task that when I exit sms or gmail apps I can do a force update, but I haven't figured that out.
Thanks for you help
im facing the same problem dude hope a support would be able to explain
I think it's because zooper widget update value is set once per minute. If you will look closely widget updates when - unlock from lockscreen after some time or every time minute passes. It's solution to prevent battery drain. It don't monitor other states than minute change.
Can that be changed ?

Lock Screen Time-out

I'm hoping there is a simple fix for this.
I have a Sprint Note 4 running Marshmallow 6.01. I recently installed an app that requires a lock-screen. I've got the phone setup for a simple PIN and the lock time-out is set to 30 minutes. Is there a way to increase that time? The stock ROM shows 30 minutes as the maximum. Ideally, I'd like to be able to have the lock screen turned off indefinately while I'm at home or in my car, but set to the 30 minute time frame otherwise.
Any help will be much appreciated.
