Is this a battery killer app?
Not at all! Tests performed didn't throw any additional(nor noticeable) battery drain. When device is in unlocked state, PocketShield enters sleep mode so no extra battery is consumed (as well as when device is in standby/Off). Instead, it will prevent battery drain when turned on unintentionally(or by a notification), thanks to the auto power off mechanism it incorporates.
RAM footprint?
The activated version with no theme uses a range of 1.6Mb -1.8Mb of RAM. Not actually all because of itself, all .Net Framework based applications use a bit of extra memory to load some system libraries for quicker access and performance. To have a reference, the standard HTC Calculator which is a very simple application uses 1.3Mb. HTC Diamond has 196Mb RAM and TouchPro has 288Mb, that is 0.85% and 0.6% of used memory, in both cases less than 1%.
Supported devices
* HTC Touch Diamond
* HTC Touch Diamond2
* HTC Touch Pro (Raphael/Fuze)
* HTC Touch Pro2
* HTC Touch HD (Blackstone)
* Samsung Omnia
* All others QVGA in special mode.

tnx bro
hey is this activated version????

That one is the evaluation version, which works pretty much the same as the full but has a random displayed "nag" screen of 10 seconds wait saying that is evaluation. To get it with no restrictions you can activate or maybe make a theme.

Could you maybe show us to an activated version or some activation codes? I would really like and need that application and since I currently do not have a credit card I can't buy it (it's only 10$). Thanks

Just download it, it's kind of a shareware. You will be able to try all the features and if you like it you can activate it(Paypal allowed). If not, there are freeware alternatives (S2U2, TouchLockPro, Lockmelite, ThrottleLock, SensorLock, WM lock, etc.)

okay let me know how to get my system back to normal after uninstall.
Light Sensor doesent work anymore.

Soft reset?

I uninstalled the optional notifications and phone components, but wanted to give them a try. How to reinstall these options please?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it remembers all previous setttings, including the uninstalled stuff!

You can restore notifications and phone options in Settings / (A) / + / "Reset Default Settings"

Got it, thanks.
I'm quite impressed with this app so far I must admit. The only issue I've had so far is with the light sensor. When I receive an SMS, it woke the device and even though it was pretty dark, the phone unlocked. It didn't unlock when I woke the device manually, only when I received a text.
A little more testing and I might purchase.

I have just DL the danish translation from the pocketshield website, it is a file called : DK.resx
But how do i intergrade it with my pocketshield 3.2.5
I have put the file in the pocketshield directory but i cant see the Language in settings.
Anyone ?

Updating... version 3.3
+ new skins supported

Really nice lock application.
Light sensor works great and the slide down work smooth aswell!
Only problem is the Settings program. It crashes a lot!
Will test it in the upcoming days!

Same here. I went online to purchase today after trying; then remembered all the crashes and rethought it. The Notification and Display tabs under settings crash every time (Notification on first click, Display is kind of random, often times when I make a change and then attempt to save).
If it weren't for these crashes, I would be a happy owner right now and recommending it to others.
I have a Tilt 2, btw.

If you were upgrading from an older version then "Reset default settings" might be necessary...

Not sure what happened to this post. Anyway:
Should be ok after a softreset. Or try manually HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Lockscreen\Enable=1

After uninstalling, soft reset and then, go to settings- menu- all settings- lock -display- windows default.

Thanks to all betatesters for their help and I apologize for all bugs and inconveniences.
FAQ:
Q: When I start the app I got a error: "mToolbox.exe TypeLoadException". What can I do?
A: Try a softreset, it's known problem when your RAM is quite full.
mToolbox is a multifunctional sensor app. It's like a Swiss knife but without all the hardware functions. mToolbox is using the built-in sensors of your device. So in this version the light sensor and the G-sensor are supported. Maybe I add the support for the stylus sensor in a further release.
You'll have:
water level
light sensor
ruler
angle meter and
shock sensor
It's very important that you report me every error (maybe with screenshot). That's the only way to make the app bug-free. Report here or send me an email to: error ( a ) dev.etechniker.com

If you want you can "follow me" and the progress on twitter.
Looks awesome, I would like to see this toolbox available in all ROMS as a standard.
I already PM'ed you about beta testing it for you.
I have an Omnia (WQVGA). G-sensor apps work by having the htc gsensor api dlls.
How about adding a g-sensor pedometer function?
Also what happened to mFlash? It was a usefull tool (too bad the standby/hibernate function and the power button of the phone would turn off the flash led... it needed a button to turn of screen). I think it would be a nice addition to the toolbox.
Merlot check your mail, I've sent you the testing results.

Yes you're welcome to try the beta version. Look at the first post where I added the download link to the beta vesion.
What exactly do you mean with pedometer? Do you mean a step counter?
Sorry that I can't continue with mFlash but without a device with flashlight it's not possible.
Looks interesting... will stay in touch...
I'm going to download this and try it out. I have the HTC Fuze (aka Touch Pro)
The buttons are quite large for the VGA device right now and some of the buttons have a hard time actually working. Meaning it takes a while for me to actually get into the tool I want.
I know I was supposed to e-mail you, but thought this might be easier.
I am working on the screenshots.
I have a Blackstone, EVO IIIt cooked ROM (wm 6.1, Manila 2.0, NetCf 3.5, localized IT). I cannot even start the app:
Code:
mToolbox.exe
TypeLoadException
Same error with version 1.3

Same Problem here (diamond VGA). Buttons must be pressed hard and often before i get any reaction. Also text, for example in thre ruler app, is cut off on the right side, or overlapping. Also the program is running VERY slow (don't know if that's because of my rom) Exit Button does not work for me, i think (killed the program by taskmanager after waiting 30 seconds).
I'd love to help you beta testing, but at the moment the app is not really usable on my device.
idea..
Flashlight app
nice app, works great here on HTC Touch HD.
Thanks for your hard work!
I get error when starting program
mToolbox.exe
TypeLoadException
Touch HD - stock rom
looks awesome
I've made some changes and uploaded version 0.2.1 beta. Please use the download link in the first post and try the new version.
*some changes in the resolution calculation
*fixed some bugs

Flashlight. I fully agree. Would be nice and sometimes useful.
Some things I have noticed,
In the shock section, it will freeze sometimes when logging is on (tested on AT&T Topaz rom, but on my custom rom it works ok so far.)
Also the info section, it would be better to color the x y z letters to show what they are on the graph. and maybe a set of guides as to what the graph should look like when the phone is laying flat up with no movement. That way you can get an idea of the angles as well. and a way to record and view a log (while in the app, i do see a record button, but no intuitive way to read such log)
Also the page animations are slow (switching between menu and the sections of the app.)
Other than that I love this application and plan on cooking it into my roms as soon as it is closer to being finished, if that is okay anyway.
Ok, so I finally got around to posting these screens.
Here is what I have:
My device:- HTC Touch PRO (VGA)
mToolbox version:- 0.2.1 BETA
So here are the screen shots:
- The splash screen has some overlapping.
- The red marking in the third screen, shows the areas that respond to touch. I can only touch that area of the button to activate that tool.
- I didn't include the screen for light sensor because my light sensor is off for now, and I reached the limit for attachments in a post (its 8 attachment per post).
View attachment 207593View attachment 207594View attachment 207595View attachment 207596View attachment 207597View attachment 207601
The water level, 'angle' and shock sensor all worked perfectly. Its just a matter of resizing them. As you can tell Water level is way off the target. The 'angle' needs a bit of tweaking and the shock sensor is ok.
The App is still a bit sluggish when I go to any tool.
Some cool things I did notice were that I can just slide from left to right to get back to the main menu and the arrow in between Back and Exit is really useful to gain more screen space.
Awesome tool, merlot. Hope we can get this working on VGA devices.
I too have Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 running a WM6.5 ROM (build 23007) by Sector. After installing the 0.2.1 beta .cab and tapping the icon in start menu I just can see the initial splash screen and then the app crashes without any explanation.. I have > 40 MB free RAM so that shouldn't be an issue. An suggestion ?
P.S: for those of you interested in mLight, I recommend moving to TorchButton, which currenly has lots more function (ideally to be integrated in mToolbox !)
the website seems to be down atm
edit: its working now

SciLor's GSensor Control is a tool for converting your Gsensor in a Dpad .
Choose from to modes: Analog Emulation or Digital Pad.
Analog Emulation sends the more keystroke the more you tilt your device
Digital Pad just holds the button in the direction you tilt it. If you put your device flat again the button is release.
You will know to be able to press enter by pulling your device up.

You will need .NET CF 3.5 (and a device with a g-sensor of course) - Link at the Bottom
This is a g-sensor d-pad emulator. Just tilt your device for sending up/down/left/right/return.
For sending the return button just pull your device upwards.
-Analog Emulation tries to send the more keystrokes the more you tilt your device
-Digital Pad sends just holds the "button" as long you tilt your device in that direction
You will always have to run the application to make it work. There is not background process (yet).
Beware, Alpha status!

Wow, this is quite innovative. Gonna try definitely.
Nice but can I suggest something?
I completely agree, this is what button less devices need. I can't believe there are no proper working versions of tilt scrolling are available. G controller and D pad seem promising but are not really getting far.
As far as I can see you only need two things to get this working great.
1: Device centring so it can be calibrated to a normal holding position for neutral.
2: Maybe a map to a button to pause it - so, for instance, hold the volume button so stop it scrolling once you are where you need to be - or the other way round - press a button to un-pause it and allow scrolling.
If you could get it to emulate finger scrolling - like moving around a webpage or document - that would be awesome.
Good luck - someone's gotta get this working
Nice ideas, I will take them into account Feel free to post future suggestions in my Forums so I can better keep track of them!
tested
I tried this on my Imagio this morning (6.5). Didn't appear to work (I could have been doing something wrong but it seems like a pretty straight forward deal). I tested it on the Total Commander menu and the PHM Registry menu. It did not respond to either of the 2 options.
I tried installing on device memory and storage card. I did several soft resets. I reinstalled. I have zoombar plus installed. that turns your zoombar into a d pad by sending keystrokes- could that cause a conflict with this app?
**EDIT** So I uninstalled both. Reinstalled GSensor. Still not working for me. Looking forward to further development though.
To bad Do you have any GSensor build in? Does other software work that uses this sensor (HDWobble/HD2Wobble)?
GSensor
I do have a G Sensor built in. I have the game Teeter (labyrinth) . Works like a charm.
I will come back to you, if I continue working on it
Brilliant!
I've just installed it on my HD2 (using Duttys HG v0.9 WWE).
The only App I really want to use it in is MS Reader & I can confirm that it works there. However, there are a few enhancements needed before I'd add it to my permanently installed programmes ...
1.) Sensitivity setting ... it's far too sensitive (analogue or digital) ... I'd prefer it if a definite movement was needed, as it is, the slightest adjustment of angle (and none of us are rock steady! ) triggers the app.
2.) The ability to automatically enable or disable depending on which application had the focus (i.e. a whitelist & a blacklist) ... was a bit disconcerting when my home-page suddenly started switching tabs, etc!
3.) Calibration for centering (as suggested by Toggs) ... I definitely don't use my phone perfectly flat, but hold it tilted at all times ...
4.) ?? Mapping of the G-Sensor direction ?? i.e. I'm fine with left-tilt/right-tilt being page forward, page-back. But it would be nice if up-tilt/down-tilt were mappable to something else.
5.) This is 1. & 4. combined ... would it be possible to be selectively sensitive? i.e. set the up-tilt/down-tilt to a low (or zero) sensitivity & the left/right higher?
Thanks for a great addition to my HD2 experience. I'll definitely be donating once it's out of beta!
Thank you for your suggestions. I wil do my best to include that
SciLor
Does nothing here on my Touch HD
What should it do?!
Do I have to start that program to work or is it autostarted after a soft reset?
Should it "simulate" d-pad right button when i do this with my phone?
Doing nothing for me either. I am really looking to try this & spread word about it...Let me know if I can be of any help. I tried both ways but not working..actually nothing happens actually. Using TP2 unbranded with g-sensor enabled.
Nice, gonna try this.
btw. why are you giving me the finger in your readme

Yes, that will be great. For now its to much.
Maybe its nice idea to measure the curent state (position) of the device and use that as 0 position (starting) for G-Sensor every time we starting this software
I will do my best to give you a nice experience. I am currently planning that you can set up a standard behavior and you may also set special behavior for applications. You may choose if the GSensor should be calibrated on the programs startup automaticly, you may pre calibrate it for the application only or use the standard you set.
Mhh I hope I find enough time to make that features soon
SciLor
PS:
What about running it as a process, seperated from the config tool so there is any need of an open window in the background.

Porting LG Fathom ROM (v5) to eXpo/IQ

I've spent the last little while porting the LG Fathom ROM (v5) to my LG IQ to see if there is anything from it that I want to add to my own ROM before I add the finishing touches. Is anyone else working on this by chance?
Here is where I am at....

- Not much to see here. the Verizon Theme is pretty dark. They re-arranged the list, added favorite contacts and changed text to message.
Start Menu:
- The start menu lists several new additions
Message - SMS/MMS replacementVisual Voice Mail - Verizon VVMMobile Email - Outlook E-mail replacementMobile IM - AIM, WL & Yahoo IM ClientCity ID - App & Plugin that shows contact city name based on numberVZ Navigator - Verizon GPS NavigationWorld Clock - It's a world clockOffice Mobile 2010 - upgraded to 2010 from v4
Settings:
- Lock Key is a new addition to the main settings screen. Enabling this app causes your phone to resume to lock state from suspend state.
Connections:
- Normally Beam is hidden here. The only new addition is Switch USB. This app allows you to switch between RNDIS mode, Dial-up modem mode and USB Mass Storage.
Personal:
- Voice Commands is the configuration interface for Nuance, the voice command app included instead of MS Voice Command.
System:
- Several changes were made in the System folder. The icons and programs for Backlight, Power and System Information were updated. The CPL Sensors was added (Proximity, Backlight & Rotation sensor control). ClearStorage has moved to become a tab under Memory and WirelessLAN appears to have been removed although the exe is still included in OEMMisc. Finally the GPS program port has changed to COM5 instead of GPD9.
Dialer:
- LG has updated the Dialer for the Fathom. The appearance is very similar, but corrected to match the WM 6.5.x screen structure (small taskbar, large bottom bar with touch buttons).
On-screen Keyboard:
- The on-screen keyboard has been updated. Again you don't get an on-screen keyboard in landscape mode.
Lockscreen:
- LG added Gesture Unlock (\Settings\Lock). It allows you to unlock your phone and launch an app based on the gesture you enter.
LG Camera:
- LG removed the Flash setting from the camera app (since the Fathom has no flash) and clicking on the Album button (bottom right) now takes you to Pictures & Videos (the 3D LG Album has been removed).

Next post will discuss specific apps and current issues
TrueG
Issues:
City ID:
This app is pretty cool. You can enter a number and it will tell you what city is it from. More importantly, there is a plug-in for the dialer that will tell you the city you are calling or being called from. It requires the LG dialer and the city name shows up in the dialer and the lock screen.
I have the plug-in working, but when I try and use the app, it tells me to restart the phone. Since everything but OEMDrivers & OEMDriversHigh have been ported, there must be a setting in the RGU or a missing file, although I don't really care about the app, it's the plug-in that has real value.
Lock Key:
The Lock Key app under settings would be very useful. The app simply sets a value in the registry (HKCU\ControlPanel\KeyLock\EnabledKeyLock=1) but I can't get it to work. I'm guessing a different keypad driver is required (or whichever DLL deals with the power button).
Gesture Unlock:
Although this appears to be running (screen comes up in lockscreen and I can make gestures), I can't get it to unlock using a gesture. Technically, I'm not really interested in this function, so I haven't spent much time on it.
Switch USB:
I've spent a bit on time on this one, but I can't get it work 100%. I can get it to open without error and I can switch between ActiveSync mode and VZAccess Manager mode. When I try to use USB Mass Storage mode, I get the error "Insert SD Card". I've tried every dll that I can think of, but nothing gets past this error. It may be that the VS750 uses a different address for the SD card slot and it may never work on our device without a patch. Although I may skip trying to get it to work. As it is with ActiveSync and VZAccess Manager, you need to reset between changes. If you need to reset between switching to USB Mass Storage, then I am not interested. I can already use WM5torage to activate USB Mass Storage on demand.
Also, I was able to switch it to USB Mass Storage mode by modifying the registry.
Change HKLM\Drivers\USB\FunctionDrivers\DefaultClientDriver from RNDIS to Mass_Storage_Class and reboot. When the phone comes back up it will be in USB Mass Storage mode (\OEM\OEMDrivers\usbmsfn.dll required)
Backlight & Power:
LG updated the Backlight & Power control panels to support the WM 6.5.x tab structure (select between pages using top arrows. Neither works properly. For example in \Backlight\Brightness you can't change the brightness level. Using Backlight.dll from the Fathom doesn't work with our Backlight. Power properly shows the power level, but the advanced controls don't work.
Sensor:
The Sensor control panel app works perfectly.
Clear Storage:
Clear Storage is now found under \Settings\System\Memory although I can't get it to work. I get the error, NV Reset is failed. I don't want to play around with this and accidentally brick my phone.
LG Dialer:
No problems.

Does anyone else have experience porting over LG Fathom apps? I would be interested to hear issues or fixes other people have run into.
TrueG
Looks good, I'm about to start building my own Expo ROM as soon as exams are over.
thanks for all you work on this trueg, looks great! how is development on it so far? Would it be possible for you to release the OEM files you modified so others can cook their own roms?

[APP] Standby Touch - simple app for a simple job

Warning! This has been developed and tested on Galaxy Nexus. It should work fine on SIII, but have a backup, just in case something goes wrong (can't imagine what)
Today I got a little bit bored and decide to make this simple app. As the name says, it allows to put the phone in Standby (Lock) with the touch of app's icon. I know that there are many many apps that do this, but maybe in the future I could add other options to it. So far it seems to work fine, I tested it with Jellbro latest nightly and works like a charm. Maybe I am too lazy, but because my phone is on the desk most of the day, I find it not very convenient to press the Power button...

Changelog for version 1.4:
1.4
- added Tasks feature
- on some ROM versions the screen my try to turn itself on again after lock, the app will double check and try to lock it again. Please provide feedback if it still does not work.
- minor graphic tweaks
You can find it on Google Play at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alinberce.standbytouch
Feel free to give me suggestions . Also a high rating on Google Play would help. Thanks.
I am using the app and haven't got any "wake screen" events. So hopefully works as expected.
I was thinking of a feature:
1. set an interval in seconds, let's say 60
2. set in the app, Enable touch screen to wake
3. in you press the screen on this interval, the phone awakes.
This of course with the cost of battery life....
What do you say, is is useful or not ?
works but not exactly like power button .
screen flashes white for a couple ms
but like the other functions
(just wondering whether you make a setting so you can choose whether or not to put device into deep sleep ) prob stupid function coz u always want ur device to go into deep sleep when screen off
thanks

No flashes for me, screen goes immediately off when i press icon, nice Ui look good also. I made swipe gesture to nova launcher, when i swipe up with 2 fingers, screen goes off.
Thanks.
on uninstalling my phone does not autolock anymore, neither does the screen time out, tried on ics, not happy with that, also with the software it would lock the phone on toggling but however it would not turn the screen off, not pretty happy.
@cletusarrarr I am sorry but I can't understand what you said. The app has nothing to do with screen time out or any other system settings.
May I ask what you use for the circle selector ?
Looks great
Thanks @Tolriq... the circle ideas came to me sudden and I've made it from scratch. There is no control I've used. Basically there are 2 custom views, a smaller one with the hour circle and a bigger one with the minutes circles, with some touch and rotation events. Glad you like it, I haven't seen anything like it in any other app. Somehow I think that there are still tweaks to be made, maybe, sometimes it's easy to go wrong by pressing unintentionally on the other one.
Thx! 5 star given!
But still sometimes the screen come back briefly b4 it locks again. I read comments in screen off fx that it doesn't hv this problem on s3. Maybe u can check it out if u hv time. Meanwhile I really enjoy ur work coz the design of the icon is so cool!

I have encountered this screen shown in some ROMs, in another it didn't appear (this on my Galaxy Nexus). The app only accesses a standard android function to lock the screen, without any bells and whistles. I could not find why it was happening like that, so I just try to make a relock after half of a second (just in case the screen turns on).
Thank you very much for your kind workds.
It's perfect. Love the simplicity of the icon.

Thanks a lot. If you guys have any ideas for features, please let me know.
I've just released a new version in the market. Unfortunatelly it does not have new features as I've been really busy in the last few months but includes two important things:
- there is no more white screen + app's icon when pressing the app's icon, just before the screen shuts down
- I added compatibility with JB 4.2

I have also released a refreshed version of my babies app, I'd love to hear some feedback from those of you who have small babies (1 to 3 years old):

Hi guys,
I have released a new version of the app. I have removed the Tasks feature as it wasn't too helpful and added Sleep Mode. So basically, the Sleep Mode shows for a brief moment (the time you set in Settings) 2 icons which allows you to switch off Sound/Wi-Fi/Data.
Here is how it works:
1. Go to Settings -> Zzzzzz Mode -> Set the interval in hours when you want the icons to be displayed. Set the milliseconds to be displayed and check the toggles you want to disable
2. Next time you press the StandBy icon you will see 2 icons on the screen. The moon icon puts the phone to standby and toggles off the checked things from settings. The sun icon, simply turns them on again and closes, without going into standby.
Any feedback is gladly received.

Similar to this or a shine effect only around camera or tens of other styles can be used to indicate an event such as charging, music playing or a notification to help you to know even who texted you just by a glance far from your phone.
some of you may know this app before and some may had struggled with it in its bad moment with a broken version but it did not stop improving and all got fixed and many more feature added.
Because this app has tons of options to customize your phone, even wallpapers, I will start by writing instructions for how to enable the basic options of the feature which this thread is about:
How To:
1- Search google play "AOE" or "Always On Edge" and install this ~6MB App
2- Enter section #1 "Main Settings"
choose if you want the LED effect to be shown within System Ambient Display or a separated screen
3- enable accessibility services and give required permissions
4- Go back and enter section #2 "App settings"
for when to light choose "when a notification comes" and/or charging lighting as you like
5- scroll to bottom and save.
6- Enter enabled apps section and make sure the app you will test with is enabled
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.used.aoe
Please give the app some time only once and then you will not need to even open it:
After testing please discover all sections the app can do what ever you need for such feature
like at the same place of step 4 you can enable Mixer which show all current notifications colors
and Reminder which repeat lighting every X seconds and let other options you may like.
in lighting settings section you can customize the general style of lighting.
the app is indeed complicated due to variety of options and I'm always working on improving it.
Battery Drain:
I use it personally for notifications only, all apps, while screen is on and off, reminder for 5 seconds every 5 seconds limited to 30 repeat and I got 100s of emails and messages and the app is not even on system battery use list. but in general this app can be used with no noticeable difference in battery usage and it can drain your battery in few hours. it depends on the options you choose, there are a lot of options to minimize battery consuming it basically depends on lighting time and enabled widgets.
in worst cases there is options to prevent the app from working if device is not charging and other 10s of options so you can set when the app should not light as when the app should light.
App brief description:
AOE contain a lot of features and options and all can be customized as you like, here is some of the main features:
Edge lighting can also be customized for charging, music, wallpaper and many other events
It can be customized to work in a highly flexible way with AOD clock or independently, or even both like Tap to Light feature.
Lighting can be around all screen or around front camera or both with many other lighting place options like LED style with variety of animations.
You can use it to show lighting effects for many events like notifications including missed calls of course, charging, fully charged, screen lock, screen unlock, headset plugged, listening to music ,
ongoing or outgoing calls, recent apps menu and flash after unlock.
You can customize lighting color, style, effect and place for each event, each app, each contact name or even each chat group.
Notifications light has more useful additional features like Reminder which the lighting will be repeated every period you choose and you can even choose to make a sound alert for notification reminder,
and Mixer which will iterate through all current notifications colors..
Brightness can be adjusted regardless of the lighting is independent or with Always On Display, on top of that you can set high brightness for lights and low brighting for AOD/clock widgets.
It has many options to restrict its job like prevent the app from lighting if device is charging, not charging, not in landscape mode, low battery, sleep time or to follow Do Not Disturb mode.
with a block list to prevent it from working for someone
AOE also support lighting in all screen states, turned off or turned on, horizontal or vertical.

Pretty cool! I didn't know about this app so thanks for sharing! Anyone else have any cool mods or recommendations for settings?
Awesome. Could you add the settings you use to center it on the hole? I'm getting there but just be nice as a starting point then could adjust thickness to taste . Thanks again! So cool. Takes me to back to OMG! NEXUS HAS A NOTIFICATION LED.

sorry I do not have a pixel but automatic adjustment should be fine initially (is not it?) then click preview and adjust manually a little bit using -+ buttons
Already paid for the Lifetime. This works really well!

This is as close as I could get it to center.
That's seems different from mine. By 10+ on some. I wonder how much the display size setting effect it. Thank you for the starting point.
I managed to use this app but everytime I got a new message after a restart, the app just don't work, does anybody knows a workaround? or it's just me not having a correct config?
seems gone from the playstore

Yeah, unfortunately. I just discovered it yesterday so I installed it from here. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/alrbea-ent/always-on-edge-edge-lighting-/
But I also wanted to unlock all features by buying pro and that seems not to work without PlayStore
