ROM updating problem. Please HELP

greeting to all members
i owned a GSM version of HTC TP2, running on WM 6.5 ver 1.****
ive downloaded the ROM update at the HTC support website and try to update my ROM to the latest ver. but, my updating process got stuck at 8% stating the errorr 260. ive try to do the recovery for few times but, same problem occur..
so, i need some help on how to rollback, if possible the update process because when i on my device, its only show 3 colours..please help me recover my device.
my device is empty now.huhu

1.22 Root Possible?

Can anyone tell me, is it possible to root or even downgrade from a 1.22 ROM to a lower version? Really stuck on my desire and would like to at least roll back or at best root!
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi people. Would someone kindly point me to a process to unroot my Desire.
Heres my stats.

I rooted my desire and I can no longer get the OTA update thats become available. I dont really need it to be rooted so im not concerned about going backwards,
Any pointers would be really appreciated.

Hi there, just about to root my HTC Desire and following the guide it would be useful to have the ability to reset my phone to the current Orange software, should I have to return it. Problem is have looked here

but cannot find my version of the software should I need it in the future?
Really hoping this isnt a stupid question, confused cos' the guide states that the 3rd octet should contain 3 numerics and mine contains 2 (61 in this case)

you need to create a gold card i guess, pls google it

im also on orange, and they havent released their RUU's so you wont be able to return to original state. You could just flash one of the official HTC ones and then send it back.. If you are with orangecare insurance you dont need to worry, if there is a problem and it needs sending back, the phone will be replaced on your doorstep and orange wont look at the phone for a while
