E-Mail subfolder Notification? - Windows Mobile Software Development

Hi,
i´ve an Exchange Server. And i have E-Mail Subfolders with Rules so ive got an Email from my Boss, Exchange copy this email in the "Boss" Folder.
I can sync these folders... no Problem. But is there a chance to get a notification for new Massage in Subfolder? In the main folder ive got a message.

Hello, no one?

I was looking to an answer to this same question a while back, but I couldn't find anything. If you find a solution, please post it!

for my knowledge there is nothing that can solve your problem. I struggle with same issue and I only overcome it with changing my exchange rules.
Currently all my mails arriving in my inbox but after reading (or marked as read) the mail will be then moved to relevant folder that I set by the rule generation.
EDIT: Hey Guys: I just realized that the same question has been asked in the Blackstone/application tread as well and I had wrongly respond to both
because I thought my 1st message did not go through.. However First asking question suppose to be not in this development tread and second I think twice the same question in different treads are not allowed

Unable to edit wiki?

Hi there,
I've just signed up so that I could reformat http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Dream_Boot_Image , but I can't seem to login to the wiki.
I've tried with Firefox 3.5 and Safari 4, both show the board software indicating a successful login, before redirecting back to the wiki where the login box is still present and "you need to login to edit.."
I tried clearing cookies for wiki.xda-developers.com, but it didn't help.
I am not sure, but probably you need to have a certain amount of Posts before you can update the wiki
Hmm, is there perhaps some way I can get around this? Really every question I have has probably been answered 100 times over, and asking them again just to generate credit seems a bit silly. The only thing I can help contribute to is organizing the existing information..
"To be able to create or edit pages, you need to be registered as a user at xda-developers.com. If you are not registered as a user then go to http://forum.xda-developers.com and click 'register' in the menu on the top of the page. Once you're logged in to the forum, you will automatically also be logged in here. If you have an xda-developers account but aren't logged in, simply click the 'sign in' link on the bottom of this page."
You should ask the admin in this concern.
Thanks corepda, Addicted2xda.
I'll see about finding an admin to ask. There is no 'sign in' link, only the standard phpWiki login box, which seems to be wired to the forum login script. However simply clicking the login button gives me a login failure (as per the paragraph you quoted), and entering my username+pw logs me in at the forum but not at the wiki..

Hmm, and you've been a member for over a year. Looks like something is broken. Anyone know who the admins are, or how to ask the forum software to message an admin?
Ok, I found the 'message admins' link and sent them a link to this thread. Yay!
Thread repoted to the staff, I am sure they will reply at the soonest to give you an appropriate reply. Good Luck.

Yeah i have had to get other users to edit the wiki when needed, but never thought to bring it up, so i'd guess it's accounts and not a xda wiki issue?
ok peeps,
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Dream_Boot_Image
You can see that i have been able to edit the said wiki. Can you give it another go and reply back here. If there is still a problem i will notify admin.

Same here:
Exactly what happens:
I'm logged into XDA i go to WIKI and choose article, click edit and the log in field pops up i enter my XDA login and it goes to the signing in pop up and loops back to the login.
I think the admins need to look into this.
I've asked Flar to get someone to look at it.
Dave
Hey Luke you are not allowed to edit WIKI because you didn't send me birthday pics.
LOL
matter is getting really hot. But I am able to edit wiki, not that much qualified to put anything that deserve change though.

Hi all,
Sorry for my late reply the issue escaped my attention.
I've been able to reproduce the issue with a test account, but am unable to fix it myself. I have notified our sysadmin and wiki admins and they will take a look at the issue as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Flar
i think it is ok that new members can't edit the wiki...i am able to do it and i posted a page few days ago so everything is ok from my point of view and the wiki is still editable
remember the wiki vandalism?
and when our ftp went down?
so don't rush to deal with it...it is just fine this way

1. This issue seems to have nothing to do with being a new member or not, my test account has the same issue and that's been here just as long as I have been.
2. Wiki vandalism has nothing to do with being a new member, a new member can just as well have useful info to share.
3. FTP downtime? what has that got to do with it? The last ftp downtime I could remember had nothing to do with new members but with us not scanning for viruses.
Best regards,
Flar

i know that new member doesn't stay for those who do things to wiki...but they potentially are a bigger threat than people who are here for ages...not saying that ivan will do but...there are a lot of crazy people who will sign in just to do damage
not specifically the last one...but things like the one that happened in 2005..someone bashed it..there is a whole thread about it

Mark email as read from TF3D Preview?

I hate that most of my emails are general 2 paragraph emails, and I can read the whole email in the preview, yet I have to load outlook for it to say I already read it.
There needs to be an icon or a menu option to mark a previewed email as read right from the Touch Flow interface, that way you don't have to open outlook at all.
I searched on this site and found no answers, just other threads with the same questions: (Edit: Won't let me post links )
showthread.php?t=581344
showthread.php?t=584573
So there is definitely a demand for this, hopefully another thread will spark interest in someone developing it or a little known about cab.

Hard-SPL email?

If I can't at all get the hardspl on my phone, can I email the link to my phone and open the file from my phone if it supports email?
What are you talking about?
This is a user who seems to like continually starting new threads with varying questions about HardSPL, ignores any advice he recieves and generally does his best to spam the forum. I've tried helping him, but he's now on my mental "ignore" list, which is not easy to get onto
Thread moved to General. Please restate your question because it makes no sense.

[Q] No send messages?

When i use the private message system, i can write and send a message.
But how do i know if its send and when its opened by the other user?
Have tried to send to messages in private, without having anything in my "send messages". And i got no answers from the ones i wrote to, so dont know if they got anything??

There is a tick box underneath to choose if a PM should be stored in sent box.
Perhaps the users you PMd haven't been online since, or perhaps you were asking questions that should be asked on the forum (many devs don't answer questions by PM, as then others can't learn from the answer etc).
If you want, send me a PM and I'll see if I get it.
Thanks for answering.
I will try to send you a message now.
Is there a place in this forum where i can ask beginner questions about rooting, branding and changing theme on my x10 mini, because i got so lost in all the topics
Im to afriad to start "messing" with the phone, because i still need answers on things?

I got the message.
As for asking beginner questions, check out the "general" forum for the X10 mini. Most of what you do should be reading at first (I read the forum for at least a week before even registering), then you should ask questions in the general section (after reading), and that should get you sorted
Okay thannks alot
Okay i will try and read a little more...

Place the topic in the subject of notification e-mails?

Hello!
Nowadays when we get e-mail about that someone have written something in a thread, the subject in the mail is "You have been quoted at xda-developers".
All my mails from xda about different threads looks the same. Why not just put the topic in the Subject of the mail? Then we quicker can find out what thread the mail refers/aims to.
For example the subject can look like: "New post in XDA: Place the topic in the subject of notification e-mails?"
Or: "You hav been quoted in XDA-forums: Place the topic in the subject of notification e-mails?"
More suggestions how the subject should be formatted would be great. :>
small question: how to get notifications when someone have posted in a thread? (I only get notifications when someone quotes me i think)
Hmm, no-one did understand maybe? Please tell me then
Im from sweden so we might write mysterious grammar and so.
I have passed this suggestion on to the server admin.
