M3100 Upgrade to WM6, Please Help

Hi all, i was just wandering, is it possible to Upgrade my Orange SPV M3100 to windows moblile 6, I already have the Hermes Vanilla WM6 upgrade files, but i was just wandering if anyone has tried it on this device, whether it works or not before i attempt to install it.

First of all what is the Orange SPV M3100? If it is not a HTC UNIVERSAL, then you can't use any of the ROMs under the Universal thread.

M3100 = HTC TyTN, Hermes etc... the ROM i have is named "Hermes_WM6_vanilla" When i run the installer it has a picture of the M3100, if thats any help

You are in the wrong forum dude.

These ROMs are particular to the model of phone, please don't flash with any ROM other than those built for your phone or you'll brick your device!

Unlocked Orange SPV M600

Hi,
Sorry if this has been posted before but I did look around for ages and couldn't see anything!!
I have an Orange SPV M600 - as the title suggests. The only thing I've done to it is unlock it using IMEI-Check. I have not changed the ROM etc.
Is there any way of updating this model to WM6?
If so, what's the success rate and am I likely to 'brick' it?

I'm new to hacking and upgrading PDA and i have just come into possession of an i-mate pda-n which has wm5 on it. I was wanting to know how I would go about getting wm6 onto the pda or another os.
