Making a norwegian keymap - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Android Development

Hi!
I have installed XDAndroid on my Touch pro 2, and I'm very pleased with that. The only problem is that the keymaps that I can find don't match my keyboard, and I kinda need some of the missing keys. So really what I'm wondering is, how much work would it be to make a keymap that fits this keyboard with the Fn keys included:

Won't happen (yet)
Android doesen't support non ASCII characters like our beloved ÆØÅ.. At least not on the HW side..

Oh, that's truly sad. It's pretty much the same with the German keymap (with Umlauts and other special (FN) characters). At least, it works with the onscreen keyboard.
I wondered how this is solved for the German Motorola Milestone - there you can hold the a/o etc. keys and then you can choose a special character on the screen (just like on the onscreen keyboard). Not a perfect solution either but better than none.
I would really appreciate a solution using the FN key.

Missing keys on software keyboard

I have a P3300 with a Norwegian rom (WM5).
I use the software keyboard a lot, but I would like to use the one with the big keys.
When I have the keyboard with the big keys, I cannot find the following two signs: ! ?
Do any of you know where they are, or (if they are indeed missing) a way to customize the keyboard so that I can have access to those highly essential signs...?
I would hate to have to use the keyboard with small keys...

Redfly: accented characters

Celio Redfly is wonderful and works really well with my Xperia X1. But I can't write the accented characters frequently used in the Swedish language; åäö ÅÄÖ.
I've asked the Celio support and they say they have it "on the horizon for the future"... sounds to me it'll take a while.
Anyone here that can help me?
Personally, I've solved the problem (German umlauts in my case) with MagiKB Lite. I've set it so that for a lowercase accented character, I just have to press and hold the character I want accented for a second, for an uppercase character, I press the button right next to it for a second. When you are used to it, it works pretty well.
MagiKB Lite is da s***! I still have a lot to learn in that software but it solved my immidiate problem - now I have å's, ä's and ö's on my Redfly. Thank you bengtbeier!

TP2 keyboard not standard Microsoft layout?

I use a third-party Asian IME (input method editor) to display Asian characters.
This IME used to work really well with other phones, but with TP2, some of the symbols don't come out well.
For example, Fn+H comes out as "\", not ";" , and Fn+J comes out as "/" not ":". The latter problem is very annoying, because it basically prevents entering web address with the sliding keyboard.
When I raised this issue with the developer, they said the IME has worked with almost every PDA-phone, including Touch Pro, but the non-Microsoft standard keyboard layout of Touch Pro2 is keeping it from working properly and there is nothing they can do about it.
Is it true that the keyboard layout of TP2 does not conform to some kind of Microsoft standard?
If so, is there any way to fix it?

Froyo's Android Keyboard missing letters!

i wonder why froyo's stock android keyboard is missing Cyrillic letter yer (Ъ, ъ) AKA the hard sign? it's present on all avail layouts of Eclair including HTC's one or smartkeyboard pro for example.
it has to be on the primary layout or something like the long key press on the soft sign (Ь, ь), another letter of the Cyrillic alphabet, but it's not.
how i supposed to write text without it?!
Lucky you, on my Galaxy S froyo JPM I can't even found the cyrillic keyboard....
It also misses Croatian letter đ.
There are some good keyboard alternatives, so you should look up.
I am using Smart Keyboard.

[Q] Localized Bluetooth Keyboard

The Motorola Bluetooth Keyboard is available with non-US layouts? Or it has some button to add accents to letters? I need to write in Italian, and without accents (or a handy way to input them) the keyboard would be useless...
Any update on this?
I'm looking for a cheap UK keyboard for my xoom.
All the ones I can see either:
look awful (iPad keyboard),
Small return key (I find annoying)
US layout (@ on 2 key, and no £ sign)
Too expensive
Not too fussed about the official one as the shortcut keys don't seem to bother me that much - I just want it for any heavy typing I may do...
