If there is a way? Yes, there is. look here for ROMs for the MDA PRO (called the "HTC Universal" mostly).
Each major release has it's own thread in the forum, and you can download the release using the links in the first posts of the thread.
Read around, try a few out, and read the WIKI if you need to know the basics (like how to update and suchlike)

Carrier Unlock

Hello Guys,
I have a HTC with WM 6.1.
I would like to ask if does anyones knows how to unlock the SIM, so I can use my mobile with other carriers.

flashing from 6.1 to 6.5

Hi guys,
I have downloaded the windows mobile 6.5+kaiser(loader)-also done a hard reset on my touch hd htc-the multi colour screen comes up then it says failed retry-have tried over and over again and its 03:30hrs in the am-
pls come someone guide me on how to flash or am i missing something here-
pls pls help

hey what device you using?
this is for blackstone only not kaeser. u will brick you device if u have blackstone and using kaeser spl

Yes. But why do you mention Kaiser in your first post?
Follow the link in post 2 above and read all of that thread before you start to flash.

He said he downloaded the kaiser one for his touch hd. Seems like a bad move..

man! blackstone is for blackstone,
if you have blackstone and u want to upgrade from 6.1 to 6.5 roms use the appropriate H-SPL Read the post # 2 aswell
what are u doing on kaeser forum and downloading stuff not meant for ur device

Only flash roms meant for the HD onto the HD. Do not under any circumstances flash a rom from another device onto your HD. Chances are there will be incompatibility issues with software/hardware and you may end up bricking your device.
For guidance on flashing please refer to the wiki and also this guide.
Any further queries on flashing should be posted in this guide.

Windows Phone 7 Total Unbranding (or Debranding?), by ansar.

Dear forum members,
I successfully changed even the SPL and it works.
In the up to now WP7 unbranding ROMs it was changed the Radio, the XIP, the OS and BLDR etc.
So we can call it debranding, or not?
I can not estimate yet the implications on future developments but fore sure only the vendor ID checking is left.

Hi, is there any way to change the boot loader on Omnia 7 to some how re-enable Download Mode on devices that have the 3 button Download Mode combo disabled?

question 3 I can assume this helps for users that unlock their phones and use them on different network, or no?

Is there a link for an Omnia 7 ROM?

Hi,
- By changing the flashing process a bit.
- Yes it is definite for all htc devices, and any other brand too since the process is not device specific.
- I do not know yet because my device is unlocked but other users can feedback.
I am just testing an HD 7 to see if it is faster/stable than a previous unbranding rom inside.

Are there stock (branded) roms with the release build for the optimus 7? Cause I'm running build 6536 now and I would like to have the release build.

nice work.
if i understand you can replace the RADIO,XIP,OS,BLDR Partition into an nbh file without broke is signature.
Can you explain a bit how to do this please.
