Hi, I want to set up number of desktop in home: i want only 3 or 4 screen desktop. Can I do that?

Hello, this one has been bugging me for a while.
The mru list that is the recent applications show 7 icons and 3 hidden ones.
If anyone knows of a reg hack or method that would allow 7 icons and say ... 13 hidden ones it would rock, id never use the start menu again.
I played with it under my home screen settings but it doesnt seem to be in there. i think its a registry edit...
Any ideas or help is appreciated..

When using my Touch Cruise with Manila 2D, I was able to change the number of rows and columns for the Launcher Tab with M2DC, but now I was unable to find the solution to modify Touch HD's Program Tab, and apparently the options is not available to Advanced Config Tool and HD Tweak, anyone can point out to me how to do it?

Yes, I like to know that too. When you use NoProgBack.cab and get rid of the gray cubes the 3 horizontal items are lost in space. It can handle 4 items next to each other with ease. The spin off would be that the tab can contain more programs.
Or, if that's easier: how to make two tabs called Programs...

I don't start a new thread cause that's exactly what I am looking for... any news since december ?
I'd also be interested in any means of extending the amount of apps that can be accesed via the programs tab, beyond the standard 24.
If you add a 25th key and other details into the registry a new "option" block appears - but it is unusable.
Has anyone managed to get more than 24 option blocks on the standard HTC Touch HD Orange Rom type of Manila?

I'm not on a custom ROM and don't have the enthusiasm for using a custom rom.

1. I can not figure out how to customize default list on Today screen. I use BC ROM and there is some application there which is I assume supposed to make it happen but list does not change.
2. I can not figure out how I can put shortcut for favourite applications somewhere on Today screen
3. How can I put list of people I call frequently somewhere there as well
Any help is appreciated
1. Look for an app called CHome Editor. It´s used to customize / change the order of the list on the today screen on wm 6.5.
2. "Copy" the .exe file of the program you want to add to your Start menu (honeycomb). Go to "/Windows/Start Menu/Programs" and "Edit>Paste Shortcut". Change the name of the new shortcut as you wish. You can create foders here if you want too, to appear in the Start menu.
3. To add a favourite contacts line in the today screen download "ATContacts" on these forums.

For that you need a 3rd party app (like the ATContacts for contacts). I know some themes include it (Bliss) but not sure if you can download only the app launcher...

Is there a way to have the "tasks" visible on the main screen (preferably the lifestyle one)
I would like to have current active tasks displayed and cant find the widget that would show them... Is there a way to add widgets?

I'm making a layout for my Desire HD and I need a way to jump from a desktop (let's say the home desktop) to the top right desktop. I mean, from desktop 1 to desktop 3, with a shortcut placed in the first one.
I know that the launchers (in my case is GO Launcher EX) have icons to indicate in what desktop you are. I'm not looking for that.
I don't know if I've been clear, it's hard for me write in english, so sorry for any mistake

You mean like an icon on the home page...like say you want to jump to the third page you click on it and it will take you there right away?

if you dont want to swipe then you can always press the home key and then you can choose from all your homescreens as they will all be shown on one screen
