Hi! thank you!
could you make a systemsqsh from the hero file system please?

Hi
I downloaded the 3 files.
-eclairhero.user.conf
-rootfs.img
-system.sqsh
As I understand I use a haret.exe and startup.txt file from another build?
But what modules/zimage do I use?
the conf file, is it suppose to be directly in root of sd card or in a conf folder?
Also do I use only one fat32 partition?
can I use swap and ext2?
Thanks!!

im looking at the boot animation as i write X=)

I'm just downloading the components myself (as you described, and putting them all together.... should take me an hour or so).... I'll play with it, and if it's working, I'll make an installer cab and release it... with credits to you of course.
What's not entirely clear is, is this Blackstone only? Of late, my releases have been device agnostic (and the installer supplies the correct startup.txt file for any given device).
My Android skills are limited, so any help on which devices are supported would be great.
Also, nobody's ever gotten around to giving a GOOD description of the function of each component...
e.g.
zImage - linux kernel (the absolute 'hub' of the linux OS)
modules.xxx.xx - additional files required by kernel.
initrd.gz <--- unclear what this is
system.sqsh <--- what IS this actually storing.... is it Android or is it customisation or is it both??
rootfs.img <--- what's this?
conf\xxx.conf <---- this is also unclear
Now don't get me wrong, conf is clear that it's helping the OS know where certain partitions are, and how to behave in terms of pagefiles etc etc, but the naming convention isn't clear or why it changes name (why's it not android.conf?)
Any info on this would be superb since I'd like to add it to my FAQ.

Could only get as far as the Hero logo (displayed towards top left of screen)... heard the Hero startup sound and the anim, then the screen stays in a loop of the animation and startup sound.... left for 3 mins the same....
Have to do a new build of something else before I return to this (so will be half a day now)... but will definitely come back to this

it looks great, worthy of giving a try, thanks...

CyanogenMod 6 Kaiser [RLS5.2] - RC2 based, odex:ed build [6.8.2010]

CyanogenMod 6 Kaiser [RLS5.2] - RC2 based, odex:ed build [6.8.2010]
This release is based on CyanogenMod 6 RC2, modified to be Kaiser & Polaris friendly (and hopefully Vogue too). Parts of other releases, mostly dzo's Fresh Froyo are also used.
What's new:
RLS5.1:
- Completely re-done release, based on CyanogenMod 6 RC2 FRF91
- System completely odex:ed (thanks kallt_kaffe for all your help with this)
- Google Apps FRF91 MDPI
- Wifi tethering - courtesy of urban69 and kallt_kaffe.
- Removed most of the "bonus" apps except Astro File Manager, due to /system size limit. To get YR Weather Widget, Brut Maps, Linpack or Nexusrevamped Live Walpaper dowload the AppPack.zip here, unzip the files to your SD card and install via Astro..
- Experimental libhtcgeneric-ril.so to enable 2G/3G switching (again all credits to kallt_kaffe) included. The enable/disable "2G mode only" switch in settings now works!!
For best performance enable compcache in Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Performance. If you want to squeeze even more out of it disable dithering, also in Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Performance.
Download RLS5.1: Mediafire, FileFactory or Megaupload!
Update RLS5.2
-New version of experimental libhtcgeneric-ril.so to enable 2G/3G switching (again all credits to kallt_kaffe) included
RLS5 and RLS5.1 can be updated to RLS5.2 via update attached below: rls5_rls5-2_update.zip.
What works:
Everything should be working as in other Froyo builds. But I may have missed someting - if so, please report!
- Phone: calls, SMS, standard stuff..
- Camera
- BT & BT audio
- Wifi
- Email
- MMS
- Exchange sync, Google sync
- Market
- GPS & Wireless (WiFi or Data) location
- JIT
- Compacache
- et cetera..
Installation:
Put the androidinstall.tar to /andboot folder and install to SD / NAND. SD users will find complete SD HaRET distro attached below, with zImage-froyo-26-07-10 (HaRET.zip). Edit default.txt according to your needs and wishes, but it should be o.k. for most Kaiser users (except panel and battery parameters - fix those). Polaris users should edit default-polaris.txt for Polaris. Vogue users need to use their standard default.txt.
I've tested RC5 on SD (ext2/ext2) install, so I really don't know how it will work on NAND.
If you have problems with Wifi connections, you can try other power levels using script made by kallt_kaffe:
Code:
$ sudo
# wifi_level.sh low|medium|high
To switch between Froyo | Eclair | Paid Market, use a script market.sh, made by kallt_kaffe:
Code:
$ su
# market.sh eclair|froyo|paid
There is a small DeskClock.apk issue in RLS5.X. To get back DeskClock.apk from RLS4, which is o.k. for our resolution, apply attached DeskClock_fix.zip.
Screenshots:
Check them out at CyanogenMod 6 screens page.
Credits go to:
- mssmision for porting CyanogenMod 6 for our devices and all the other work his done
- dzo for his kernels and Froyo releases - without you man there would be no Vogue/Kaiser Android community
- kallt_kaffe for many many contributions he made to Android Vogue/Kaiser community
- Incubus26Jc also for his fine builds and many contributions made to Android Vogue/Kaiser community
- Brut.all for his Maps mod
- DmK75 for the default.txt for Polaris and all the other contributions his done in testing and delivering fixes for this build. Thx man!
- Complete Vogue/Kaiser community
Thank you guys for your great work and sorry for stealing your ideas and soultions, but they're just to tempting not to be used and abused.
I'd be glad to get as much of your feedback as possible. Enjoy!
============================================================
History
RLS4:
- Fixed bootanimation to comply with 240x320 res, also slimmed down bootanimation.zip by 1 Mb
- Replaced all Google Apps with the FRF91-mdpi version
- Updated ADW Launcher to latest version 1.0.1-mdpi
- Removed LinPack
- Included updates from RLS3 in the main build
- Other smaller modifications and optimizations
RLS3:
- Replaced old Vending.apk with a new one from FRF91 source to fix constant FC'ing
- Replaced some other system resources with FRF91 source
- Updated ADW Launcher to latest version 1.0.1
- PNG'optimized and zippaligned all apk's - shaved ~ 10-15% off in average
- Optimized all OGG files - shaved 20-30% off in average (you shouldn't, but if you notice any drop in ringtones quality, please inform me)
- Included Brut Maps, Astro, NexusRevamped LiveWalpaper and LinPack in the release, on the account of newly freed space
- New kernel zImage-froyo-26-07-10 added to HaRET.zip
- Included Wifi tethering fixes made by kallt_kaffe (thx man, great work). No more post installations scripts needed to make it work.
Nice work! Sometime I will try this build.
Just about the best i've tried yet.
This is by far the most responsive version i've tried yet and i've spent about two days trying all the versions mentioned in the
"Android Build Index - Look here before asking" -I can't post the link-
I'm trying this on NAND. I can't get Wifi to work on my kaiser but i'm going to keep playing around with this one.
Love the speed.
Oh, what is the name of the female football picture/wallpaper?
Hi,
I will try it on my Pola.
This build is useful for using bluetooth speakerphone in car?
Chick wallpaper.
http://bit.ly/acABBj
wifi won't start. It just states "error"
@nemuro are you a Kaiser or Polaris user and did you apply my update?
Best yet!!
I'm not sure how, but Wifi is now working. It may have something to do with fixing permisions between a re-install. This version is quick and snappy. My favourite so far!!!

No. It installed fine, don't worry! I get that error too, it has something to do with the way 7Zip I use makes tarballs, but it has no effect on install.

Yes, I applied the update. I am using kaiser, and haret + latest z-image. Is it the problem that I am using a wrong version of default.txt? Do you want me to post that file?
Gonna try it tonight...
Ive been using urban69's rom for 5 days and have enjoyed it although am having application fc's frequently and still dealing with the battery issues....I'll try this on Nand tonight and reply back....Thanks for all your work!!!
If it weren't for all of you dev's we'd be in tech limbo!!!
First of all...Im new to installing Android on Kaiser, so sorry for stupid q's and stuff...
Ive installed it on a danish Tytn II, it works, with some errors...
1. Wifi doesnt work(dont know why...just doesnt find any networks(and it seems to have no macaddress, at least thats what the infobox says, the same about bluetooth)
2. No marked...Weird i think
3. Battery stuck at 15%
4. i sometimes have problems answering calls...
Think that was it for now...Else its a great build...Thx a lot..
THink i will install another build for now...but will probably try it again...

I install it on my Polaris and tested: Wifi, BT and GPS works.
Also i noticed full russian translate and working superuser app!

doesn't work on nand, it's too fat to be installed in nand... the update fails with no space left on device as does the new androidinstall
i guess something needs to be took off to install in nand

[FIXED: 3d support for wvga] - 3d working for Blackstone (fix from OliWe)

hi,
well, maybe the next GREATEST NEWS !!!!!
3d is working now. (all honor to OliWe)
the patch is included in latest rootfs - so the download is not needed any more ...
(in latest rootfs - there are 2 gralloc files (gralloc.msm7k.so + gralloc.msm7k_wvga.so)
and in latest rootfs it does mounting the wvga version over the normal gralloc lib -> done via *init* script.
ex: via:
mount --bind /sdcard/gralloc.msm7k_wvga.so /system/lib/hw/gralloc.msm7k.so
then the system use the patched version.
# # #
downloading is not needed any more ..
cu camel
Code:
OLD POSTING
but we must be sure if someone have problem - please help on testing ..
for testing ...
if someone wants to mount the rootfs and replace the [B]gralloc.msm7k.so[/B] file .. see attached file which must be replaced in the system.
it should be replaced in
/lib/froyo/hw
/lib/eclair/hw
system/lib/hw
(the file rights should be 777)
PLS: honor goes to OliWe - i'm only the slave
it is working i can see bootanimation android pissing on apple.good job people

Is this working on other devices too? (Like Topaz, tp2 etc?)

The fix will not work on Rhod/Topaz. It's made for Blackstone ,(probably Kovsky) and the vga devices.
@all: It would be nice, if you could test some 3D games. Please post your results
I'm getting the boot animation now so something is changed for sure. Considering games: anything in particular u can recommend for 3d testing purposes?
Thanks for the TouchScreen fix too - u're really advancing this project in regards to the Blackstone - great work
WOW !!!!
Boot animation working very nice ... thank you !!!!!
Now fix only the camera and the battery problem
Thank you for your hard work!!!
Great fix dude, bootanimation and gallery3D working fluent on froyo
Great Work OliWe!!

Working fine for me on Blackstone, congratulations, BUT...
what are the effects on other devices. I read your statement that the 3D fix is for blackstone only, but will this prevent other devices working? or is it just no 3D support for them?
I ask this, because the releases I package are generic releases for multiple devices and therefore I'd still like to use one rootfs for all devices.
Once again, great work, and another milestone for Froyo ports!
Thank you OliWe for this great fix!!!! I've just finished to run Neocore Benchmark on my blackstone (at stock clock...) and my result is 14.9 FPS...not so bad...anyway i will redo this bench after a little overcklock and i'll update my result!!!!
Edit: little overclock (614 MHz)..result=18.4!!!

hi,
well, maybe the next GREATEST NEWS !!!!!
3d is working now. (all honor to OliWe)
but we must be sure if someone have problem - please help on testing ..
for testing ...
if someone wants to mount the rootfs and replace the gralloc.msm7k.so file .. see attached file which must be replaced in the system.
it should be replaced in
/lib/froyo/hw
/lib/eclair/hw
system/lib/hw
(the file rights should be 777)
or if you want to use the whole rootfs system.

Here is what we know:
- It will work for Blackstone / Kovsky
- It won't change anything on Rhod/Topaz (they have no 3D)
- It should work on Diam/Raph (in theory), but no one tested it yet
All in all, you should get some vga testers before releasing it
Oliwe you're the best!!!

Heavy Gunner - crashes on download screen (but at least it gets there, couldn't get to it before).
Crush the Castle - works now as opposed to before where it just quit. Laggy, but at least its working
Nova crashes on downloading packages.

[03-09-2010][CyanogenMod 5.0.8][VaniljEclair-Port FINAL V1.1][Neopeek]

The last days Froyo rubbed all my nerves. As promised earlier to a few members I decided to update CM5-builds. And here is the first Final release of my Eclair-builds:
VaniljEclair from kalt_kaffe (original thread from HTC Kaiser)
Changelog:
[*]V1.1 is a 1-file-download. The ZIP-Archive contains everything you need!
What's Included:
Latest LauncherPro
Compcache activated
Browser removed and replaced by Dolphin Browser HD
Performance tuning
[*]1-file-download due to FINAL release V1.1 -> read Install Instructions carefully!
To get the full performance out of all my builds you have to open all apps once and then restart your device 1-2x times
Known Bugs:
Camera is broken
If you wake up your device and the screen stays black -> just slide from left to right as you would do when unlocking the phone -> The display will wake up immediately.
Used sources for this Port:
kalt_kaffe's VaniljEclair ROM for HTC Kaiser
XDAndroid: rootfs + kernel (2.6.27)
Credits go to: Cyanogen + Cyanogen-Team, kalt_kaffe, XDAndroid-Project, Balsat and top everyone else whom I have forgot! You may consider a donation to all of 'em!
Download + Installation Instructions (read carefully):
Neopeek's VaniljEclair-Port CyanogenMod 5.0.8
RE-EDIT: This Text is copy&paste for all threads on all compatible devices! Everything works fine for my Diamond. I still have no other device then a Diamond. I am still a one-man-show regarding my Android-Ports. So don't blame me for anything that doesn't work for you on any other device...
thank you very much
Can you post some screens please....
Hi vatoloco,
I couldn't see anything run on my Blackstone, always show black screen.

#service bootanim /system/bin/bootanimation

But after boot , I could turn on the wifi, but couldn't get ip.
GPRS ok.
Bluetooth ok,but the voice have a lot of noise, microphone ok.
GPS ok.
speed is good.

you dont have to do that anymore, hw3d is working, but gralloc from the "hw3d thread" has to be replaced to /lib/eclair/hw/ & /system/lib/hw/ and also for me wifi wont work if i use updated kernel. so i extract wlan.ko from the modules and place it to /system/lib/modules/ ...
overall the build seems stable.
# I get 16.5 fps on neocore benchmark. (pretty decent i believe)
#However i am facing issues with wifi not able to get dhcp address (have to set static)
# google talk and gmail app aint working (force close). need to probably replace the apps. (not sure)
thanks neopeek.

Means: Not working or really broken???
First post updated with V1.1
Broken means not working!
For those who got this release working .
can you upload the files that you had to modify (startup,tar.gz...) , so it would be a more easier process for non-experienced users to download this release and run it by one button ..
thanks in advance .
Where's the problem, huh? Move to npkinstall-folder. rename diamond.txt to startup.txt there! Start install.exe! After installation move to startups-folder and copy startup.txt from diamond where haret.exe is and simply run haret.exe! That's all! Sometimes I ask myself if someone misses reading my instructions. I think renaming 1 txt-file and copying 1 txt-file should be simple enough!
That's 2 steps!
Neopeek,
For blacstone users, need to replace the gralloc file in your builds to get the hw3d working. which if not done gives black screen and 3d is not enabled.

...but boots up for you w/o that gralloc? So kindly link me to that gralloc so I can implement it. But first if it boots up just let me know if everything else works or something Blackstone-specific still needs a fix. Damn it! I have no Blackstone. SO I need you to test and give me hints!
I'm going to format to ext2 partition to try
Many thanks for the chance to get android on my blackstone man
I already downloaded the v1.1,but when I run the installer, the system show it will formate my ext2 partition, and then say cann't open xxxx.tar.gz,when show reboot in 7 seconds. But nothing happen after 7 seconds.
When I reboot manually,I found all of the android I in my card was gone,it empty because the sdcard already be formate during the installer running.I try two times the result is the same.
Fix already,It's my problem, I don't know why between the ext2 and fat32, there is 7.8MB no use, so after I repartition my sdcard, now is ok to install the file.
After waiting over 20 minutes, still black screen.

I think I have to include this for you to get it working for you. On the other side you may try to set "hw3d.force=0" in startup.txt. Thanx indeed for testing!
Yes, after replace the gralloc.msm7k.so that from hw3d thread, now it boot ok. after boot the wifi is also no problem to get ip.

[31 DEC] gauner1986's HD-FI 0.3 (Desire HD based) [KERNEL = my own :)]

So.. MAGLDR is finally out. I'd like to give away the stuff i've put my love in in the last few months while testing MAGLDR. Without neat release pictures (I'm bad at marketing, i'm the software guy, sorry..)
This is the latest version of Desire HD Sense FRG83D (very close to stock). Basically everything is working and I have been using it for a while now.
It's a little slower than most Desire ROMs (though you get neat benchmark scores; NOTE: Benchmark scores are usually lower than the ones from SD builds,
because NAND writes are slower), but that pays off feature wise in my opinion. See for yourself.
I have squashfsed the app and framework directory, which saves a lot of space. (Desire HD ROMs are very space hungry). Finally got it down to use only 230 MB + (6MB free in /system, because mkyaffs2image does strange stuff), which means you will have 184MB of storage space available for your user files (if you use the partitioning layout I supplied with the DFT flasher and depending on if you chose to use the EXTROM area/last 24 MB of NAND space in MAGLDR - if you have a TMOUS LEO you will of course have more).
Things i have removed (i can remember..):
Maps (it's an outdated version anyway - download a new version from Market)
eReader stuff + eBooks (takes 50 MB or so - WTF, not worth it)
Not sure if all languages are working, because I removed some of the language dependend stuff, except for German and English.. Has to be tested. <- should be working according to users.
Notes:
This ROM comes as ODEX-ROM, because that again saves a lot of space, which would otherwise be taken twice (once in davlik cache and once in /system/app / system/framework)
If you want SuperUser, install the superuser app from market. I'm not sure if i am allowed to just include it in my ROM. (0.2 has superuser app pre-installed)
My own kernel is included, based on the latest linux_on_wince_htc git. It has the SMARTASS and INTERACTIVE governor as well as an undervolt (925 mV) (no UV in 0.2 anymore).
Of course this ROM comes with RMNET enabled. My version of the libhtc_ril_wrapper allows you to choose between PPP and RMNET by file. If /system/ppp exists (create it with touch /system/ppp) then PPP will be used, otherwise RMNET. RMNET is working quite well, so i would suggest you use that.
If you want notifications working, install Led me know from market. I had battery drainage issues with it, so i removed it.
If you still experience problems with the Browser just closing, or crashing, install Flash player from Market
Due to the squashfsed app and framework directory you will NOT be able to write into /system/framework and /system/app. If you want to change sth there you need to extract my ROM and unpack squashed.sqsh, make your changes and put everything back. I won't explain it in detail here. Use google if you want to know more, or search the forum.
The MAC address of the WIFI interface can't be read correctly, nor changed at the moment. We need to wait for Cotulla to implement it in MAGLDR. <- MAC address can be changed temporarily. See here. Thanks to clio94 for posting this.
Known issues:
There is some issue with dexopt running for the apk's in /data/app on every boot atm, which i was not able to solve yet.. (You see a lot of Pruning dalvik file.... in logcat, making bootup slow, if you have a lot of apps installed)
Maybe someone else can help out on this?
On some languages you can't add cities to the weather widget/app. Switch to English if you want to do that as a workaround, you can switch back afterwards again.
htcsense.com features are not working currently - dunno what causes this; Maybe it's HTCs fault
If you think the ROM is slow.. Wait at least one hour after you installed and configured all your stuff before judging! ROM is syncing and configuring a lot of stuff after initial setup!
Download:
Version 0.3 -> Multiupload; BACK UP YOUR STUFF BEFORE FLASHING if you use a previous version to be sure!
Code:
Changelog in v 0.3:
- Squashfsed more directories - gives us a LOT of space.. System footprint now is 209 MB; you should have more userdata space available!
- Fixed issues with browser closing while loading flash vids - test it please
- Added HTC Location widget
- Added News reader widget
- Standard kernel included; optional overclock kernel (1113 Mhz) in the release package; if you want to use it, replace the zImage in /system with the zImage in release package
Version 0.2 -> Multiupload

[DEV][PLEASE_CONTINUE][Sense 4.1]Common Sense

Well, here we go...
This is not the way I wanted to post this thread, but fate was stronger than me
Guys, I spent last several months working on a stable Sense 4.1 base for our HD2. I succeeded in a lot of things. I got BT working. I got mic working in applications. I got this damn thing running smoother than my wife's Galaxy S3 (I'm not kidding)...
So, yesterday my HD2 died on me. For the second time. I can't afford to fix it anymore, I don't have neither time nor money for that. Mainly time... So, unfortunately, I have to stop the development right here.
Someone, please take it from here. It would be a real pity for me if this ROM died together with my HD2.
Guys, as you can see further in this thread, someone donated a fully working HD2 to me. Just like that. For free.
If you ask me, this is an act of an incredible generousity.
Thanks a million, Legion.X. I'm still to find a way to thank you.
Let the development continue!
Introducing Common Sense 4.1
link to ver. 0.2:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/75m6jwtcq28gg8u/CommonSense41_next.zip
please test and comment.
previous versions:
ver 0.1: https://mega.co.nz/#!WhpRzJQa!DOdybh...6N52mPTfNkXk1k
what works:
* full Sense 4.1. almost everything works. daily driver.
* silky smooth, as good as native. flies at 20-30FPS with live wallpaper, probably around 60FPS with still wallpaper
* fast and snappy.
* sound recording works. voice input works. BT works.
* full 3D Rosie
* live wallpapers, Sense lockscreens etc.
* EXT2 over YAFFS loop (works automatically out of the box)
* should be snappier than ver. 0.1
known problems:
* it does reboot randomly from time to time. I'm looking for ways to solve these... looks like we'll end up recompiling libs from source.
ANYONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE AND/OR WORKING ENVIRONMENT TO RECOMPILE FILES FROM SOURCE, PLEASE PM ME. My goal is to take gralloc sources from CM9 and adapt them for sense. but I don't have linux and don't have the toolchain set up. I'd appreciate any help with this.
* probably won't work in full NAND on TMOUS. anyone who wishes to participate, please try to install on TMOUS without sd-ext and report what you get. logcats are most welcome!
* WiFi router doesn't work. Custom routers from Play Store should work.
* Video shooting works at 15FPS. Don't know if that can be fixed... for me 15FPS is fine anyway
next steps:
* hopefully fix some of the crashes
* fix terrible lags during initial configuration and in the setup wizard
* improve Rosie (I know how to make it even smoother )
* try crossbreeder
* install XPosed framework
* please suggest more things to improve!
installation:
* BACKUP!!!
* IMPORTANT: you need CWM 3.0.0.6.. Other recoveries may or may not work. voronkov_pavel reports that CWM touch recovery beta 8 does not work with this ROM.
* REMEMBER: for Data On Ext, keep your system partition small! philliped364 reports that 55MB works just fine
* install Common Sense from recovery
* reboot. the first boot will take a while (although it's waaaay faster than in other ROMs thanks to odexing). should boot in 2-3 minutes. if it doesn't boot within 10 minutes, please report
* wait for the lockscreen to appear. DON'T PULL THE RING YET!
* make some coffee. let your HD2 settle down for at least half an hour
* pull the ring to unlock. if the setup wizard does not appear immediately, don't touch the device for another half an hour. if the device reboots by itself, please report.
* complete the setup wizard. it will lag. please be patient. DON'T SIGN IN TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT YET! finish the wizard and let Sense load.
* wait for two minutes and reboot
* let it settle down for another half an hour. it will optimize the databases during that phase. don't try to work with the device. it will lag terribly.
* unlock, go to Settings -> developer's settings, scroll down, disable "force GPU rendering"
* reboot
* your device should be fully functional now. now go to Settings -> accounts and sign it to your google account, email and whatever you like
big thanks to Legion.X (for sending me his HD2 for free), philliped346 (for his immense help and making my ROM nativeSD), saurabhrendale (for his incredible animations), Mr Evil (for letting me kang sound files from his EvoHD2 ROM), ckpv5 (for letting me kang Sense files from his MyOneDx ROM), dorimanx (for his kernel), RobbieP, ya5, aazzam16661, Daekin and many, many others for helping me out.
Some technical details about the ROM:
Config: Data on Ext, DB on NAND, looped over EXT2.
System: mostly taken from other Sense 4.1 devices, proprietary files taken from several half-working Sense 4.x ROMs flying around here. Sound system taken from EvoHD2 ROM (yeah, CM9). Credits to Mr Evil for these files.
Kernel: Dorimanx 7.2 HWA (credits to Dori please)
Framework: stock Desire X ROM as a base, heavily modified to work with CM9 sound system, heavily optimized for smoothness.
Sense: mostly myONEdx RC4.0 FX+ ROM. Rosie modified by me. Some files taken from stock Desire X ROM.
A word about kanging:
my goal is to create a stable Sense 4.1 base for HD2. feel free to kang anything you find here. just please PLEASE give proper credits. don't forget the guys who gave me some of the files: Mr Evil (creator of the EvoHD2 ROM) and ckpv5 (creator of the MyOneDx ROM)
NOTE for DEVs:
I was stunned to discover that DISABLING HW acceleration makes scrolling silky-smooth in 99% of the applications. Exceptions are: Rosie, Browser and... uh... that's it, I think. So, I REVERSED the way framework enables HW acceleration. Here's how: if the application doesn't request HW acceleration, it doesn't get it by default. If it requests it (HWAcceleration=true in the manifest), it DOESN'T get it either. If hwAcceleration=false in manifest, it DOES get it. This way, I only had to modify Rosie and the Browser and set hwAcceleration=false for them to actually GET the acceleration. The other apps just denied the acceleration natively. Please be aware of this change
Enjoy.
Report bugs.
May the Force be with you

Disclaimer:
Frankly, I don't even know if it boots the way it is now. I was in the middle of something when this happened. Most probably, it will just work though.
Technical details:
Config: Data on Ext, DB on NAND, looped over EXT2. Yeah, it's returded fast.
System: mostly taken from other Sense 4.1 devices, proprietary files taken from several half-working Sense 4.x ROMs flying around here. Sound system taken from EvoHD2 ROM (yeah, CM9). Credits to Mr Evil for these files.

Sense: stock Desire X ROM. I've got permission to use MyOne ROM (see Desire X forum), it has full 3D effects enabled and runs smooth as silk on HD2 (it's pretty damn smooth even with live wallpapers!)
What should work:
Everything. I know that WiFi router doesn't work, but that's it, more or less. Video shooting works at 15FPS. Sound recording works. Voice input works. BT works.
Known problems:
It does crash from time to time. Needs more work on system files. I was planning to recompile gralloc from CM9 to use it here, but didn't have the privilege to finish that.
For EXT2 loop to work, one needs to add creation of an empty data.img file in /Data/Data folder. Make it as big as possible. Format it for Ext2. The rest will be done by init.rc
............. Well, that's it. I'll be watching this thread. Don't ask me to develop anything though, I can't do anything without a working HD2. Sorry guys and good luck to anyone who will take it from here.
Bye

Frankly, I don't even know if it boots the way it is now. I was in the middle of something when this happened. Most probably, it will just work though.
Technical details:
Config: Data on Ext, DB on NAND, looped over EXT2. Yeah, it's returded fast.
System: mostly taken from other Sense 4.1 devices, proprietary files taken from several half-working Sense 4.x ROMs flying around here. Sound system taken from EvoHD2 ROM (yeah, CM9). Credits to Mr Evil for these files.
Kernel: Dorimanx 7.2 HWA (credits to Dori please)
Framework: stock Desire X ROM as a base, heavily modified to work with CM9 sound system, heavily optimized for smoothness.
Bye

There are a few double brackets in there. Mike_1996 noticed a few in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694879 thanks Mike. I spotted a couple more.

does the recent apps appear when you long press the home button?cz i think its an essential feature...
I would just remove menu button and assign that to recent apps. that is the modern way. (not Samsung dinosasur way )
For system crash could be kernel fault... I remember when I tested dorimanx kernel each release was never really 100% stable independently from clock frequencies.
II test this rom of dungphp with tytung kernel (thank to all) and this is the same with sense 4.1 .
wifi/3g , camera , bluetooth , sound work .
camcorder don't work and google play work with uptades but can't instal news applications.(fixed instal apk
)
it's a very smooth rom and if someone can fix this problems .

Dorimanx's kernel haven't given me one single problem with this ROM.
I used it as my daily driver until my HD2 died...

if you're using my ROM (I couldn't figure this out from your post), and use my initrd, then you have to make your system partition as SMALL as possible. Most of system files are relocated to EXT4.
For camcorder to work, copy it from any CM9 ROM.
Sense camcorder tries to record at 30FPS, which doesn't work with this version of stagefright. CM9 camcorder records at 15FPS and works flawlessly

are you using magldr or clk?
what's your system size?
did you look at the logcat?
I use clk 1.5 and système size 5/40/5 .
