Rom sharing with N1? - Desire General

Hi Guys,
I've had a quick search and i cant seem to find an answer for this...
What's everyones opinion on the chances of the desire sharing roms with the N1 in a similar way to how the 32a\b share roms currently?
Mark

common sense would say that if a rom taken from the desire can be ported to the n1, then a rom can be taken from the n1 and ported to the desire...
obviously this is a very simple if...then with quite a few dependencies

First of all congrats on your new phone...... second, wrong place to post. Post questions in the general section
Now for your answer.....CM7 is built directly from the source code by Google.... HTC customized it to make HTC Sense UI, so its pretty much not possible at the moment to keep HTC Sense and CM7 features....
This requires a hybrid rom and there are no hybrid roms available for our phone. You can use sense themes and lockscreen programs for the sense lockscreen and many other sense related apps on the Google Play Store... to get the sense feel.
Hope this helps
And do remember to post questions in the general section next time

since browsing the dev forum is hard......
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=765
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1545595
if you want stability and no problems. wait for official release. if browsing for a rom is too much work, surely rebooting your phone is also too much. (in before close)

actually i wasn´t able to look in dev forums, due to my lack of messages, and if I don't have the experence i thought it might be helpfull to ask for suggestions
and my lack of messages is only because i was able to view the dev forums before, and i've been flashing roms for a while, and didn't had the need to be asking around
but, thanks anyway...

so this doesn't make any sense ... anyways ... everyone can view dev forums you just can't post in them. Read up on bug list, known issues, what works, and make an educated guess. Flashing a rom isn't serious business, however, that being said if you can't read a change log and test roms out for yourself you probably don't need to be flashing or messing with your phone anyways.
... and on that note..
cool story bro.
I tried all sense 4 roms here, they are all the same and the camera doesnt work....
Its simple, there is no Best rom. This is a development site. Roms made here are not made to be perfect. They are made to learn how to do it and to mess with. If you are not here to learn about development then you are in the wrong place. Oh and you can view the Development threads you just cant replay in them.

The best rom goes to.............. The Search Button, also try searching the forum and trying each one out individually, not only will people direct you to their fav rom,but it might not be what your looking for,so its best to try them personally and it cuts down on anyone getting their feelings hurt, because their rom wasnt mentioned, that being said, good luck in finding what your looking for.
