You Tube Download For Wm Smartphones And PocketPC

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE ALL NEW HTC STREAMING MEDIA PLAYER UPGRADE VERSION, NOW WITH HIGHER VIDEO RESOLUTION OUALIYTY WITH LIVE DIRECT ACCESS TO http://m.youtube.com , THE DOWNLOAD IS LOCATED AT POST NUMBERS {78}, AND {85}! You can now watch YouTube videos live direct access on your wm6 smartphone!
Does it Work!
Has anybody got this to work?
The way you reading it is wrong ... up till now ... we have no way of LIVE watching from youtube ...
the plugin is just a plugin that let TCPMP interpret a FLV file ... this does not let you view youtube LIVE in your device's browser at all .. LOL
it's simple ...really ...
basically it's just a plugin that let you play FLV file format with TCPMP ...
you don't really need that downloader since there are many site online that let you paste a youtube link and among other sites that shows flash clip in FLV format ..
now that you have the plugin for TCPMP ( transfer the *.plg file into TCPMP's directory ) ... all you have to do now is transfer that "FLV" file to your device and open it with TCPMP. ( you still have to download it first though ... )
just google for "youtube download" and you will find sites that let you download the FLV file
The Easy Way To Play YouTube Videos On Your Dash/Excalibur
The best fix for playing Youtube videos and the easiest way to get YouTube video downloads on to your Dash/DoPod c730/Exculibur was found over at http://forum.dashsmartzone.com/index.php?showtopic=1302 I loaded all my favorites YouTube videos on to my Dash, fast and easy! Oh! one more thing, when I used the TCPMPFlvplugin method to download YouTube videos, I would always get a error message "Invalid Returned Link". Now with that DashSmartZone fix, I don't get any error messages. I just get my Youtube video download, perfect every time!
Just use MOBETUBE
THe simplest way to play youtube videos is to use mobetube.com
Your Way Cost $29.95! "DashSmartZone" Way is FREE!
Your way works on certain phones, plus you got to shell out $30.00 and you call it the simplest way to download YouTube videos. The DashSmartZone way is FREE, FAST and EASY, works on just about all smartphones and ppc's like a charm! Going the DashSmartZone way, I will keep my $30.00 in my pocket, going the [D$Z] way make DOLLARS and SENSE to me and to anybody else in their right mind!
The Best Way To Get YouTube Videos On Your Device
Without a doubt, the download and details the have over at DashSmartZone for getting YouTube videos on your device is the best on the market at this time! Fast, Easy and Free!
Another Way http://m.youtube.com
Now the ultimate way to watch YouTube video without a plugin or downloader. Just go direct to mobile Youtube and access your videos. Now the catch, you need one of those HTC Streaming Media players that come on most of the wm6 pocketpc Rom you find on this web site or you maybe able to find the cab file for the HTC Streaming Media v2.10 build 1025.621 or even the new Touch version v2.1 b 202.715 will fit the Dash screen, but I don't have all the details yet on how the latter player works, but I do know it can connect via RTSP URL...........!
I already got TCPMP ... all I needed was the FLV plugin ... that's it !!!
there are so many sites online that let you download youtube to your PC ... just google it !
some even let you download/convert it in different formats ( avi, mpeg ..etc )
no need to take the long way !!
Read Again Please!
That's what I just said! You are talking loud and saying nothing! Another thing you don't have to worry about that "unable to find network" stuff, plus your YouTube video are on your device and pc to watch any time you want.
LMAO !!
if you go over the whole thread again ... it is CLEARLY shown that YOU are the loudest !!
you start with a question for a solution ... then you went on about all kinds of different solutions ... meanwhile ... things are so simple.
No logic
Guy you are wasting your time saying nothing!

Go mobile, direct to Youtube http://m.youtube.com and the next best way is use the method found at http://forum.dashsmartzone.com. Hey,
Im sorry if this is a really stupid question!
But ive got Core player and kinoma, and all i want to do is stream videos from youtube, but once i start streaming it always opens up the default Windows Media player on my mobile.
I always use browse internet explorer to do this then select the youtube link on the site..
If theres any way of changing the program that gets opened could you please tell me!
Im using the standard Kavana’s 6.1 ROM.
Cheers
Get skyfire and just play them as you would on you pc.
http://get.skyfire.com/
That still doesnt solve my problem, I need to change my Default Windows Media Player on my Mobile to open to another program instead to stream.

n/o, but don't exagerate with the topic title
on:
use mp4hd in combination with windows mediaplayer --> hardware acceleration
In core player, go to 'Options' and then 'Video'. You can try different video settings in there, which make a big difference. I have mine on GDI, and I also set quality to low, as it doesn't really make much difference on a 3.8" screen.
The only thing I find core player useless at is playing wmv files. I use it for everything else.
Hope this helps.
John.
Sorry - yeah, for MKV files, you'll need to convert. Try mkv2vob. I use it to convert mkv files to mpeg files for my PS3. It's FAAAAAAST as ewt!

I believe you need to download the streaming media cab. I will post a link with the download when I get home! you can't watch videos directly on the site with the Excalibur, instead the phone streams the media with a media player such as the streaming media player, tcpmp, wmp etc.

Is your data connection working correctly, meaning can you browse the web without problem? I'm using the Youtube app without problem on my Excaliber and the 3VO 2.80 ROM. Note, you do NOT need the HTC Streaming Media player on the phone, and in fact that can cause more problems than it solves.
Check your data connection settings.

That is not true. The YouTube application does not need any other ap to view the site and videos. The streaming media cab is NOT needed for anything anymore and on the newer ROMS can cause more problems.

I totally agree with you, there's no need to run another app to view youtube videos, I haven't got any trouble so far running youtube in 3vo rom.
how did you get it working? i'm also using the youtube app but it doesn't play the videos correctly... it shows me the preview image but no video, sometimes it play the video but it kinda freezes even tho audio is still playing... it's a PITA that i can't get the youtube app to work correctly
