Predictive Contact Selection Gone???? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Hey Folks,
I've searched the forums, but found no answer to my dilemma...
On my TP2 I just notice that the predictive selection of contacts that normally pops up when i'm selecting a recipient to compose a new SMS/E-mail message is gone. I don't know whether this is an option that can be turned on or off, and I haven't found any configurations in the regular settings so far.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.....

Problems with SMS

Hi everyone,
I'm currently using the Blacck version 2.0 ROM, and I have some issues:
- I can't recept the sms sent notification, I have to go in my Inbox, then the Notification come. I have the sale problem with all of my messages, I have to go to my inbox for receipt them.
- When my TyTN starts, he doesn't ask me my PIN code anymore, I have to go on the Comm manager, and then he ask me the PIN code.
Thanks for your answers.
The first sounds like you simply haven;t set up your sounds and notifications to display the message on screen (Start, settings, Sounds and Notifications, Notifications Tab - then click down to new sms and tick the box for display message on screen).
The second is a WM6 bug. Cold booting goes into flight mode for some reason.
Thanks for your answers.
1) The box is already ticked, and the sound too
2) okay, thanks. Will it be corrected in the next Black release ?
And I have an other question:
When i start a new text message, on the box "To", when I'm typing the name of my contact, he doesn't list me the names.
For example, i want to send a message to my girlfriend, ChloƩ. When I start typing "Ch" he doesn't list me my cobtacts who start whit "Ch". It is a bug ?

Mark email as read possible in TF3D?

Hey guys,
Is it possible to have TF3D mark emails as read automatically when you select the e-mail tab, the same way the SMS messages become marked as read when you press the SMS tab? It really irks me that everytime I receive a new email, i have to open it to get rid of the notification, even if I already know what the email is about from the preview.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
This has been bugging me too. It would also be useful to be able to delete emails from this screen too by having the option under the 'Menu' button, again like the SMS tab.
Here Here
While I cannot offer any advice on this, I can say that it certainly is a pain.
I would love to see a "Mark as Read" button added or even better - a "Delete" button added to the email preview page. Even a key combination or hardware key re-map while in that screen would work, but would be a 2nd class fix as it would mean having to open the keyboard.
Is this issue addressed in any of the ROMs out there?
Anyone know if that useless "Push To Talk" button could be remapped to do this?
Thanks!

This would be perfect, or a "mark all as read" button in the Manilla GUI under email

Text messaging problem of a different kind...

Okay, I searched and searched but could not find a solution to this issue. A very minor one, but a quite annoying one, at least to me.
I know a lot of people have been having problems with phantom text message notifications, but I actually want to be able to mark messages as "unread". In the Windows text message application, I select a message (or conversation thread), then when I go to "menu" > "mark as unread", that option isn't highlighted and I'm unable to select it. I'm also unable to select the flagging options in the "follow-up" submenu, though those are less important to me than the "mark as unread" option.
PLEASE help! I'm a heavy text messenger (part of the reason I got this phone), and I really need that feature.
Is there a registry hack or cab or something for this? Where would I look?
I am running a stock T-Mobile ROM.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Problems with sms contact search

However when i use the software keyboard the search function works fine. Any ideas? I spent and hour straight searching for an answer to this, thanks in advance

How to enable "SMS Delivery Notification"??

Just got a new TP2 replacement for the TP1 I dropped, it came pre-loaded w/6.5, and im still running on the stock Sprint ROM w/no other apps, etc.
Ive read other posts, but maybe im just retarded or missing something.. I installed advanced configuration tool 3.3 > enabled "sms delivery notification" under messaging > soft reset > send text to gf > get reply from gf... *** no delivery notification!!
Anyone know why? Do I have to disable threaded layout or something? Or do they go somewhere other than the standard sms inbox?
Thanks!
If you're using the HTC messaging app you need to enable delivery notifications while writing a message. Menu -> Tools -> Message Option
thanks for the reply. but i cant seem to find 'tools' under any sms menu button.. and I assume by htc messaging app, you are referring to the one that opens if you select the sms icon in TF3D nav bar and then just tap the screen?
sorry for the n00b question lol.. but ive only had this phone for a couple of days now and am still trying to get the hang of it.
You're welcome. The Menu appears when you writing a message.

Follow the screenshots. . .
my menu is identical to yours, only it ends with 'recipient phone number'.. there is no 'message option' in the menu.
i also reopened advanced config and verified that 'sms delivery notification' was enabled.. and indeed it was. is that all you did to enable it on your phone, or did you use a different method?
thanks again for the help!
Maybe the Sprint stock rom doesn't support this feature. No idea.
hmm any idea how i could find that out?
Maybe try this?
