NAND - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Android Development

Hi, I have Eclair on my kaiser in ext2 partition and I like so much it but it isn't too fast, for example if I use the Copilot Navigator it is slow, or many time when I call or use some program it is slow and go to block.
I want an android more fast and I have read it is possible to flash my rom and istall android with NAND.
My questions is:
-if i install android with nand it will be more fast?
-can I return to WinMo and return to the ROM I have now In my kaiser WInMo6.1???? If yes there is a tutorial??
Thank you so much!
P.S. where i can find a tutorial for NAND flash???

Sorry gfucka, but are You really blind? Tutorial is for example in first sticky on this forum...
Moreover there is probably written that You can flash again WM after You go to NAND android.

Oh sorry really really sorry but I'm really tired today and I have watch for other Treah and not the first.
Thanks.
But for the first question? With nand it is more fast??

Don't know how for 2.1, but it seems that 1.6 is slightly faster.

Please follow the rules of the forums and search before starting new threads. ESPECIALLY to ask a question thats been answered multiple times (this includes all of your other threads too). If you are too tired to search or dont have time to search than you shouldnt be using these forums. Please help us all and abide by the rules.

some say it's not faster.

but 2.1 else
i rebuild 1.6 with my kaiser it so fast ,and i like it very much.

XDA Live or BLACK v3?

Hi,
As I'm sure you can all appreciate, I'm new to this and I was just wondering the various pros and cons to the XDA Live and Black v3 ROMS...
I've read countless pages on both ROMS but need some clarification on a few things... Which ROM is the most complete... as in which version has the most working software, I noticed some imporant features for both seem to have problems...
Black needs a bluetooth patch to work properly and Live doesnt have voice calling?!
So which is the most advanced out of the two?
i think is Black v3
dude, this is the SECOND thread you have made for complete n00b questions.
please READ, READ, READ first
when you are read to ask a question, SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH first
every ROM has its pros and cons, there is no "perfect" rom and there is no "imperfect" roms. read the wiki and you can learn without being lazy and starting new (and useless) threads.
black v3.1 is the newest build "released", but the best advice is to try either (or both) over afew days to see if they work for you.
Before you do though, please read Mr Vanx guide to upgrading, so that you don't brick your device.
Good luck & happy flashing.

I have to second this comment. While it's nice to have, don't try to get that "perfect" ROM. Read, read, read. We all do, no-one can claim his/her time is worth more than others because you have no idea who else is on the forum. If you think this is time consuming and want to help others, summarize them and update the WIKI!
If your goal is simply trying to get Hermes to be a productive machine, read the wiki, guide, thread. List down the pros/cons, select the one on top that fits your criteria, make your informed decision and move on.
If it meets most of your need, stick with it. If not, go to the next one.

safe to use Duttys V3.9 XT Turbo?

is it safe to flash Duttys V3.9 XT Turbo onto touch pro 2?,
does flashing erase all my info and saved apps on my device??
And do i install custom icons etc?
no its not...topaz or touch pro 2 has keyboard and touch hd does not...htc device with no keyboard rom is not compatible with htc with keyboard
only flash rom thats intended for your device...in the touch pro 2 rom section u cant go to another phone rom section and use that to flash u just asking for a very nice paper weight...you can use cabs though from htc hd to change your icons...goodluck make sure u read first before trying anything
No no no no no
LoL
New users please read the Wiki.
Fortunately since HSPL is not out yet, no one would be able to flash anything to their Rhodium (par a stock Rom) anyway.
We are having a lot of new users joining the Rhodium forum.
Please all read the Wiki and do some research before posting.
The forum is allready becoming very busy, and a lot of the new threads that are being opened are by "new" users to the site who could get the answers / knowledge they require if they read the threads and mod notes at the top of the forum.
Not trying to flame anyone, but if we can keep the silly questions to a minimum, it will help us all.
Cheers,
Beasty

The reason you write " I need help from you guys to make my HD looks great " Mean you DONT KNOW OR READ ANYTHING because if you read you will know there is not such as magic to install something and voala... About how to Flash a ROM i already write to one "new" user and will not write the same anymore you can read it and flash a new ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=657816&page=2
Here i wrote Guide step by step very simple im sure you don`t read this.. then dont say you read alot and almost everything.. if you use the search on this forum and wrote how to flash ROM will see alot of Post explaining very well.
Also if you read will know that depends from what kind of ROM u use do your device is unlocked and what manila version and thousend other stuffs you cannot write just like that... i cant install cabs.. What kind of cabs? where? what error giving you?
What Manila u are using.. or what kind of Windows?!?
They are thousend of questions...
And like i say.. im not here to explain to every new the whole world.. so READ if you read will know what to do...
Hello philiphoh,
it's always good to see new people coming in and I guess I need not to talk about what tsalta has said. But here's some links that I think would be helpful for you.
To change your SPL/Radio/Custom ROM/etc, this is the best tutorial to read though: Digital Outcast's Dummy Guide
As for your .cab files that do not work, normally it's because of compatibility issue, or the place where you install the cab files (phone/storage card), or maybe the cert (sdkcerts.cab) issue, if you're on a stock rom.
to make your phone look great, normally I'll go through the thread Post Your HD Screens. A lot users showed cool stuffs of their Blackstone and if you like them, you can just ask them to share, and normally they will.
Hope you can find your way =) Well, it's all like what tsalta said, READ.

help how to upgrade sense in my diamond

i download sense rom but i cant upgrdae in my diamond, hepl please how can i do it
Try to read the wiki-pages and the sticky threads on top of this sub-forum to learn how to upgrade your ROM.
Make sure you understand the steps clearly otherwise you may brick you phone.
People should look and search for the answers by themselves first (because most of the questions had been asked before many times), that's the reason nobody bother to answer you ...
Good luck!
BTW, it is also not good to open new threads for the same questions:

due to there is no official 2.2 from htc you must flash a cooked rom. Within the cooked rom you'll find the flashing procedure.
Thanks but what is cooked rom
First thread, sticky in this section; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696189 explains it all, you even have video-tutorials

I do agree that you really should read at least some information in the sticky threads before asking such a basic question, but i took the time below anyway, but afterwards please let those sticky's answer your questions
A cooked ROM is either a freshly compiled version of android, or a port. Then there are numerous advantages and addons, the common one is that you always have root-acces, basically "administrative" access to things that stock-roms try to keep you away from.
Cooked roms was especially great some time ago, when android didn't provide tethering support (internet sharing), paid apps was more limited, hardware on phones was more restricted and with cooked roms you could overclock the cpu, move applications to your sdcard and have a linux-kernel that left you with more available RAM.
Then there's often other hacks and cooked roms are almost always faster than stock-roms.
The only disadvantages is that by messing with these kinda things you void your garantuie. Most of the time, rooting is safe and tested before published, but if youre flashing a newe radio-version or spl (a separate part, not the actual ROM) there is a risk for "brick" leaving your phone unusable in some case.
That said, if you experience some kind of hardware issue that you know isnt related to the ROM, you can "unroot" your device, basically put back the original rom so that it doesnt appear modified at the repair center.
Desire is very easy to root, a simple script you run on your computer updates your stock rom with a rooted one, leaving your settings and all as it was, but with root acces and the posibility so change rom if you like
I would suggest, respectfully, that if the OP does not know what a cooked rom is, or that there is no official 2.2 as of yet, that perhaps trying to root may not be something they do until they've read up on it a lot more.
