I by mistake placed this in the wrong forum, could an admin please move it to the correct one for me? thanks!
I saw the Voyo a1 mini being listed for such a low price, i just HAD to look up a review and found yours. What an amazing tablet this is!
Great review btw, you covered up pretty much everything where i was interested in and just bought one yesterday on Banggood for $164,49.
There are some 5% discount coupons if you google, and that will make it cost just $156 which is really really cheap imo
Imo 8" tablets are too small for windows...
The only complain about this tablet is the autonomy, only six hours of moderate work. I discover that it recharge, slowly, also from the microusb port. It's a little great machine IMHO. I don't regret my old netbook Aspire One, this Voyo is fastest, better screen, more practical and stable.

MINIX NEO Z64 Windows Edition Review

Hi all,
I know this is technically for Android devices but the Z64 can also run Android so I think it fits.
I had a chance to review the MINIX NEO Z64 Windows Edition. Thanks to GeekBuying for providing me a sample to review. You can get one from them here running Windows or Android.
Technical Specs
Chipset: Intel Baytrail quad core processor with Intel HD graphics (Z3735F)
RAM: 2 GB DDR3
Storage: 32GB eMMC + microSD slot up to 128GB
Video & Audio Output: HDMI 1.4, 3.5mm Audio
Connectivity: 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
USB: 2x USB 2.0 port
OS: Windows 8.1 with Bing (32-bit)
Unboxing
Key Points
The device boots up fast, reaching the Windows Start screen in just 13 seconds.
It runs Windows 8.1 with Bing which is 32-bit and comes activated so no "trial" version as we've seen with some devices.
When the device first boots up, it has 20.1/24.7GB free. The remaining space is allocated to system and recovery partitions.
Kodi performed brilliantly, handling most codecs - even 1080p Hi10p samples were watchable (although there were a few dropped frames). Auto framerate switching worked flawlessly.
Gaming performance was quite good given the relatively weak GPU, competently handling Beach Buggy Racing on Maximum settings at 1080p.
I had no issues streaming 1080p videos from an NFS share via WiFi which was great.
Verdict
Overall, the MINIX NEO Z64 is an impressive little Windows PC that would make an excellent HTPC or desktop. Its built-quality and performance exceed its budget price tag.

Chuwi Hi10 Pro vs Hi8 Pro, which better?

I don't own the Hi8 Pro, but i have the Hi10 Pro for about 2 days. So far I like the tablet. Runs smooth and had no issues. battery life is about 3-4 hours (depending on workload). The keyboard dock is also quite nice. The only downside is that is is Windows only (no Android or dual-boot version). Also, it is more expensive than what Hi8 Pro will cost.
Chuwi Hi10 Pro Pros (over Hi8 Pro):
1 USB-3 Port and 1 USB-2 Port (vs only one USB-C port)
64GB internal storage expandable via microSD Card or external HDD (vs 32GB for Hi8 Pro)
4GB RAM (vs 2GB for Hi8 Pro)
10.1" screen (vs 8" inscreen)
Bigger battery (however, screen is bigger so it should last the same)
64-bit Windows 10 (Home edition)
Optional keyboard dock with trackpad (that ads another USB port as well)

Do you think it would be possible to install Android x86 on this tablet to get dual boot functionality?

Google's android 5.0 OS can be adapted with x86 architecture, the compatibility are gvery good. And it also can support ART mode ...
Do you have a custom rom for Hi8?
I mean for example RemixOS, MIUI with multi-language.
I perfer its new product, Chuwi hi12 . The screen size is large enough for me using.
Most important, i am interested in its pressure sensitive stylus and magnet C docking.

This is not a development post.
It should be in Q&A.
Also why would anyone actually want to replace a perfectly good Android OS with a clunky Windows OS?
Just buy a Windows device in the first place.

If you want windows 10 tablet buy the galaxy book 12. Same resolution, I5 with 128gb 4gb ram, amoled and s-pen. I have one, it's a nice windows tablet and I can dual boot android. Only killer is battery life. Winds sucks battery.

windows 10 too boring for tablet. Battery drain so fast, low perfomance, see youtube 2k lag frame rate and very hot. I had tab pro s12" and sold it. happy when use tab s4, fast and smooth, many app support for tablet android.
I actually have a wi sows tablet and hardly ever use it.
I have 5 android tablets and much prefer the simplicity.

Just install Android X86, I've installed on this and many other windows devices. Again keep in mind that while the I5 is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than even the tab s4 at most activities, is better at multitasking, has a fantastic keyboard and touchpad cove, and this is not a heavy tablet, the battery life is HORRIBLE even in android. The i5 just sucks up too much juice.
I prefer Android OS.
There is an application which supposedly is able to replace android OS with any windows version. You may check the following link and try it
Code:
www.changemysoftwares.com
Please share your experience if you were able to port windows into Galaxy Tab S4
