Hej, vi har lavet denne side på facebook, som indeholder guides og daglige opdateringer om hvad der sker i androidverdenen. Der er bl.a. guides til hvordan du rooter din mobil, ligger ny launcher ind og meget mere. Der er også anmeldelser af diverse programmer.

I don`t know about you guys but Samsung kind of starting to piss me off and I know I am not alone. Many people are very disappointed. What makes it even worse is that Samsung already finished development for Bada 2.0 but won`t let it out because of whatever reasons (probably because of poor Wave 3 sales).
Now they are saying Q1 2012 which means they can stretch it until March 31st but who knows if they are not gonna delay it again

The reason for the delay is simple: its a marketing strategy.
They discontinue the older models production, and want people to buy the new models with bada 2.0 (wave 3, M and Y), presenting a new/revamped OS as one of the advantages of buying one of the new models.
When that "cash cow" is dry they can release it to the olders models.
The problem is that this strategy backfires at them in some extent (we all being pissed, etc) but they still think the end result brings them more revenues than "costs".
Personally, i think this is positive for their side in the short term, but this approach being continued will kill the system in the long term.
They should had learned from their competitors by now (apple, google).
Lets hope they won't wake up too late.

in italy, last week samsung officially said that the update will be released on december (http://www.badaitalia.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Schermata-2011-12-13-a-12.09.04.png), today they've officially replied that bada 2.0 update for wave s8500 and s8530 will be released perhaps for april 2012, seriousness does not exist, they are ridiculous, in my opinion Bada OS is dead...

KL1 is seen on S8530...
We NOT know how long BadaDroid will take... to have minimum feature of an handset... call your mom, girl friend, etc...
Please, be little more realistic instead dreaming...

With the difference that the project on XDA is not fake and people know that it can work! that`s the reason I will donate next month because I still have hope that they will succeed.

Ich bin natürlich niemand der sich in Programmierung auskennt, aber das was ich weiß ist, dass Froyo ja teilweise schon läuft, ich nutze es sogar um einige apps zu starten oder Spiele zu spielen, die man unter Bada vergäblich sucht. Selbstverständlich sollte es jedem hier klar sein, der hier freiwilig Geld spendet, dass das Projekt nie fertig werden könnte und scheitern könnte. Wenn das passiert, dann ist das halt pech und dann kaufe ich mir ein Android Smart Phone aber solange dies noch nicht der fall ist, bleibt mir noch ein wenig Hoffnung. Auf dem HTC HD2 läuft Android ja auch schon, also könnte es ja vielleicht eines Tages auf dem Wave laufen. Du hast doch selber gesagt, dass du nicht viel Ahnung davon hast, was komplizierte Programmierung angeht, wie die bei dem Port notwendig ist. Wie kannst du dann sagen, dass es nie fertig wird, wenn du nicht nicht viel über die dazu notwendige Programmierung bescheid weißt? Und dass uns hier Leute nur abzocken wollen glaubst du doch wohl selber nicht.

if you say something about samsung... i want to make my point, they always sucks at software. people are buying there phones only due to good hw and always craving for cm or custom roms. there sw sucks on every platforms not only on bada. they cant even make a app perfectly. if you had tried chaton on android, it always crashes. In short samsung software developers are sucker in front of these community developers. And thats becoz they hired cyanogen who was also a community developer.. I dont know you got my point or not. and yes i am not sayin anything about project i want to only comment on samsung sw team-- they are samsucks.

adfree, I think you can't compare the current BadaDroid project with previous attempts. BadaDroid is the real deal from what I have seen, sure it might take awhile, but progress is being made.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how great Bada 2.0 is. If it gets delayed 3-4 months and comes out and is good... again so what. Without the apps and big app companies supporting Bada, it will be nothing more than a phone for people who don't use apps.
There is not reason what Bada would be the #3 phone OS. But sheer numbers alone won't keep that position. Nice going Samsung, you got millions using Bada phones now, but keeping them happy is another skill alltogether. I mean I think we are all still officially waiting for Angry Birds since the head of Bada himself tweeted that it was coming out real soon with Fruit Ninja. Well we got fruit ninja some weeks after that tweet but no Angry Birds. And Skype, still waiting on that one too.
If Samsung can't manage to get quite possibly 2 of the biggest apps ever onto Bada, then get used to this ship, because I see the iceberg coming.

Amazon voice services on Fire Phone discontinued.

I just got an email saying all voice services like voice search, voice text input, voice control will be disabled starting tomorrow. using any of these functions will now yield an error message.

Hitting the undisableable mic button on keyboard accidentaly will now be even more annoying!

I got it too.
How dare they do that?
It is my phone. How can they take an app off my phone.
They have to be stopped from doing that.
Even though the damn thing works only half the time.
I bet they were getting too many "help" calls.
So, let them drop support.
But removing something from my personal phone.....that is too over the top!

So if they discontinue apps, why don't make public the bootloader unlocking procedure?

Amazon is just too arrogant for my taste.
I minimize my purchases from them.
Recently the Walmart B&M beat Amazon for two items.
2 years old, but still runs better that j3 2016/ alcatel pop 4, i tested them too.

to be fair, it's the same size as my 5" Redmi 4
exactly as tall and a tad slimmer, but heavier

Complaining here has no effect at all on Amazon https://twitter.com/AmazonLab126 and even this guy https://twitter.com/JeffBezos be sure to hash in these guys too https://twitter.com/Reuters media just love stories about Giants like Amazon mistreating customers and maybe some of the mainstream media will pickup on it if it's a quite day in the news room or they just bought a faulty Amazon product and are pxxxed off.

Well, I didn't do anything yet because, Amazon said, "As of September 30, 2017, Voice Services on your Fire phone will no longer be available", "and will also remove the dictation feature from your phone’s keyboard. "
I found Amazon did not remove the microphone from the keyboard and other voice services seemed to remain on the phone as of 10/09/17. So I thought Amazon decided to not remove the functions.
Well, now I am getting suspicious that they left the functions on the phone but they don't work anymore. Well to tell the truth, they only half worked from day one. But at least I could create texts and emails using voice 1/2 the time and the other half it would fail and I would have to type. Now I can't get any voice recognition to work.
The damn thing gives all the signs it used to give when it was trying to convert voice to text. But it fails every time.
Does anyone else have this problem? I am hesitant to accuse Amazon of something as nefarious as this without some harder proof.

Well I called Amazon three days ago and was told they did remove Voice Recognition. I demanded to speak to a supervisor. He didn't seem to know what was going on and had me try a few things. Then he seemed to find out that it was removed and said they were working on it and I should call back in 48 hours. I waited 72+ hours and was just told they don't know what Amazon will be doing for Voice Recognition. They did give me a $30 "promotion credit". I haven't checked the TOC but I bet they say that if I use any of the "promotion" I give up all rights to complain. They did say that during any purchase the "promotion" will be used first. So if my speculations are correct, the next time I purchase something from Amazon I will give up all rights to complain about this action.
I did send those tweets that bigrammy mentioned but haven't seen any responses.
Can you imagine that in this day and age I have a smartphone that no longer does voice.
Any other ideas please?
Since this is an android phone (crippled by Amazon) is there a way to get the android voice recognition onto the phone?

I thought I would provide some more information in case there are others in our predicament that are following this thread.
Around October 22 (2017) Amazon removed the microphone image from my keyboard. Amazon also disabled the "double press" of the button which enabled it to respond to voice commands. Note voice input of any kind has not worked for, maybe 20 days.
I began installing any apps that I could find that said they did voice recognition. Most didn't work with my crippled phone. Others worked in only special cases. If I got them from the Amazon store I was sure to rate them one star and state that Amazon disabled the functions.
I have found three apps that when all are installed, have restored most of the voice input functions. If I get time I will experiment to find out if they all are necessary. They are, "Google" (an app from play.google.com), "OK Google Commands", and "Gboard".

I dropped mine around xmas and cracked the screen.
I moved on from Amazon.

Most things work well, especially considering it's now a 65euro phone. Google services and a launcher(Google now is ok) must be installed and there are still some shortcomings, such as Facebook does not directly play videos, but redirects to a browser page where they can be played and Whatsapp does not like to play videos, they just stop after a second. I would say its quite usable for me, nevertheless.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 10 unlocking

Hey there,
maybe you could help me.
ive got a tablet (kindle fire hd 10, model: sr87mc) from an older friend, who has it from a dead family member.
The tablet is not from high financial value, and the data is not important, but she asked me about unlocking it.
It has a numeric pattern and i want to unlock it for the still living family members, its not really important, they said, in case of bricking the device or something it would not be evil.
In past i have unlocked some amazon devices, by example fire hd 7, but in this pastly time i had a lot of time for this, now i am involved to a company leadership and i dont have enough time to take long care about it.
Is there a possibility to unlock/root/fastboot the device with standard configuration and without enabled usb debugging or something?
I really want to help the family, that they can use the tablet.

Hat gereicht. Sehr schwierig war das Ganze nicht.
Den Lösungsweg teile ich bewusst nicht mit, musste ja ohnehin alleine drauf kommen.
Bei ernsthaftem Interesse (ohne jedwede böse Absicht oder den WIllen ein gestohlenes Gerät zu entsperren, stehe ich privat zur Verfügung.)
