Cases with kickstand support - EVO 4G Accessories

anyone know where we can buy them? I saw some cool cases that took the kickstand inconsideration.

Well you can go here - http://www.fommy.com/accessories.asp?make=HTC&model=HTC+EVO+4G&cat=Cases for cases.
Or, you can buy them at the Sprint store. Below, are pics of the cases Sprint are getting.

I like that dual color plastic snap one. I do hope it has matching colors though too. Sometimes I would like to mix and match, sometimes solid, sometimes half and half.

Here are some realll bad ass ones
http://www.amzer.com/Amzer-Luxe-Argyle-Skin-Case-Smoke-Grey-P88260.htm

I like the Amzer ones. Do any B&M carry them?
Edit: Damn just saw the shipping date. They want people to have a week and a half to damage their phone

have you guys notice......... all the cases on these websites doesn't have a hole where the front facing camera is? take some small modding on them

Just thought I'd mention I'm using the rubber HD2 case from T-Mobile. It sorta fits, better than naked tho.

The front camera shouldn't be covered by any of the cases I've seen. I don't think you'll need to mod anything.

does anyone know which cases radio shack will be carrying? (gonna use that $20 from the pre order setup)

I ordered the Innocase from Seidio. I had one for my Mogul that I really liked: http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/4213.htm

I'm digging the white case (last picture) with the chrome. By the way I think I'm going to hold off on buying a case until Case-Mate.com comes out with theirs. I love their quality.

The Amzer ones I posted do, they just cover the edges of the front.

This one? Yea, me too.. Who make those?

^I'd love those if it weren't for the excessive size of some of the camera opening.

Seidio's Innocase for the EVO has a cutout for the kickstand.

Ditto. The innocase on my friend's Nexus One is amazing.

Owned many a Seidio Innocase in my day. Very high quality and I've already pre-ordered for my EVO.
..and yes, it does have the kickstand cutout.

The problem I have with innocase is that if you have a bodyguardz screen protector, it wrinkles it since the case is such a tight fit. It will start peeling away at the corners.
I have GOT to have a screen protector

I gotta tell you, screen protectors on glass screens are pointless these days. I used to have one on my Hero but took it off (touch screen wasn't as responsive). I've had my Hero in my pocket with my keys, not a single scratch on the screen (the phone is in a case though). My friend has a Nexus One and to test the strength of the glass, ran his keys across it.. no damage.
I will just use the Innocase on my phone sans screen protector.

Captivate Case sold in stores

Hey guys, I was able to snap a quick picture of the case that a store I went to was selling. Seems to be different than what I've heard from others, but this what I was able to get a hold of. Sorry for the quality, it was taking on my dying Moto Q9h.
was thata hard case? How much for it?
There were two at the store I went to, they had a Carbon looking gel case for $24.95 (Looks like the one pictured above) and another, I think it was plastic, clear case for $29.95 Almost bought the gel but I want to wait for Seidio to come out with theirs.

That one was $29.95, and it definitely looked plastic from what I could tell, so that lines up with that second one you were saying.
I don't see it on their website:

Look what I found:

Looks nice, unfortunately it doesn't ship till 8/24. I HOPE Seidio releases theres before that. I'm willing to wait so long for one. I'm not liking carrying it around "naked".
Looks nice from the pictures. And better yet, IT HIDES THE AT&T LOGO

Did the same thing. My friend got the T-Mobile version phone and the screen protectors they have make the screen look grainy.
I will wait for bestskinsever or some other company to make them, until then I must be very careful with it.
I got the rubber gel case - looks nice, is very thin, doesn't add much bulk at all, and feels good in the hand. If you want to listen to music with the device's speaker, you can put it face-down so the speaker isn't muffled, and the case keeps the screen from touching the tabletop surface. I'd recommend it!
guys i hope you didnt throw away that screenprotector that came pre-applied to the phone. You know, the really annoying one that reads: Texting n Driving, it can wait...
So thats a pretty good cover right? Looks like it doesn't degrade image quality at all.. Got me to thinking, man this would be ideal if it didn't have these huge dumb letters over the whole screen.
So I bust out some acetone (nail polish remover) and a q tip. I soaked the head of the q tip and rubbed it over the letters on the screen protector. Re applied acetone to the q tip a few times in the process. I let the acetone sit on the letters for about 30 seconds and then wiped it off with a cotton wipe. Be careful when rubbing it off so that it doesn't runoff the screen protector onto the edge of the screen. ie: dont wipe, soak it up. I waited about 10 min after drying it off with that cotton ball and then used my nail to scratch off the letters. I had to re apply acetone once more on tough spots but now i have a free good looking screen protector to hold me over .
I bought the Body Glove case. As someone else stated it doesn't add much bulk at all and fits pretty snug against the phone. I actually dropped my phone this morning while rushing to work. It fell to the concrete, hit the corners, and then landed on the face. Luckily the case is a tad bit raised from the screen not allowing the screen to impact. No damage to the phone and the case has one tiny scratch.

I have a realook screen protector and it's very nice but I always have to clean it because it's a fingerprint magnet. I bought a Skinomi screen protector from Amazon because it only cost me $1.05. I haven't tried it yet and the reviews on Amazon are less than favorable for it. Here's the link so you should take a look.

Cases & screen Protector
I had purchased a case on amazon for $1 and it sucked i went to a T-Mobile store and got the gel case that they had and it is awesome i have dropped my phone a couple of times and it still works perfectly.
The screen protector i also got from tmobile and it was really good it comes in a 2 pack for like 10 - 15
I use the T-Mobile Black gel skin case and I used to have a ZAGG screen protector but after the whole gorilla glass revelation I have not used a screen protector and have not had any problems. I have heard and seen lots of good things about reallook
I have both the body glove case and the tough case by case mate. I like the case mate one as the body glove chrome front piece is very fragile and will break.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
Case-Mate Tough Case.. I purchase many different cases and the Case-mate one doesn't stick and comes in two layers without making the phone too bulky. It makes the vibrant feel solid in the hand and you won't ever have to worry about dropping it.
It's a little bit pricey at $29.99 but its worth it. It also comes with a screen protector but I personally haven't tried it out and I prefer the screen to be naked. Yet to be scratched. There is a thread on XDA in regards to the Case-mate tough case including pictures.
After purchasing this case, I looked no further and I've been satisfied with this case for months.

i was thinking on getting that barely case =/ i kno for a fact im getting that realook screen protector!
I second the case mate tough case. Its awesome. Goes in and out of your pocket without sticking. Plus it gives it a.great feel. Also the realook is the best. Just make sure in a.dust free environment. I read on here that the bathroom after a shower is best. That's how I installed mine and it went great.

The barely there case is nice. I have the silver. Don't let anyone tell you that the silver one degrades the signal, it does not. The black one has a better grip, though, it's textured where the silver one is slick.

As I'm sure you have come to the conclusion... reallook is the way to go when it comes to screen protectors, no questions asked. just do it.
I was stopped at the mall I live near by the people selling the invisibleSHIELDs. They called basically said i was lying that I even had a SP on my phone, because "no screen protector looks that good" and told me that i cant take a key to it... so i did and nothing happened.
Then they lost sales when the other people they stopped asked me what company mine was and found out it was half the price, ha.
and for the case i have the jell tmobile one... i got it as a "meantime" case, until i found one i liked.... and i have fell in love with it.

otterbox Defender questions

so I just bought the Otterbox Defender for my Atrix 4G, and for some reason, on the top left corner, if I squeeze it, I feel a little give, of maybe like half a millimeter, but IDK if that means its defective or what? Also, whats a good way to clean a screen cloth to get the dust off? I love this thing, and my screen is very clean but there is like one or two small specks of dust I cannot stand looking at.
It will eventually get stretched out more and more as you use it. That's one of the biggest flaws of the Otterbox Defender.
My wife has had it for about a month and she's completely given up on it, as it's almost impossible (for her) to use the fingerprint scanner, and because of how she used to tug on the silicon protecting the charging port, the bottom is all stretched out too. YMMV.
Hope this helps...

That or the Seido Active Case (which I use currently, in Sapphire Blue)
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csk3mtatr-bl.htm
@ _Alex_ : The second link I posted for the Seidio Active case would suit your wife very well. That case does not hinder the fingerprint scanner at all, and its still offers a reasonably good amount of protection. Its also available with a holster. (I do not have the holster so I can't comment on it) I do love the case though. I've dropped my Atrix twice from about 4ft up (im a big guy, 6'4" tall) onto concrete, once landing on its side, the second face down. No damage to my Atrix at all, barely scratched the silicone skin of the case (its a two piece case, silicone case with a skeletal snap-on piece for extra strength and corner protection).
Honestly I have the defender and love it I use the clip everyday and it has a bit of play like yours but I haven't had any streaching and I've had it for a little over a month. I sometimes gwt trouble with the fingerprint reader but if you dont use it than that dosnt matter but I am defanitly trying out that upcoming ballistics case

I have the defender too. I have the same little problem in the top left corner too! The rubber part hasn't stretched for me, however.
I use the fingerprint scanner, but I don't notice any problems at all when using it.
does anyone know if its easy to cut out their screen protector? Its just that when I use it, I feel like I'm using the Blackberry Storm, like I slightly push more than normal, and it takes away accuracy when typing. Should I keep the Defender or just get the candyshell Speck and a separate screen protector?
I'm on my second silicone part. I emailed them about the port cover corner getting stretched out and they sent me a new one. The new one looks just like the old one already. Took maybe two weeks for it to start popping out again.

I called them about my silicone case stretching and they sent me a new one as well.. still haven't put the new one on yet. Wife called about the "watermark" she is getting on her screen, and found out it is because they put the screen protector on backwards(her screen protector feels more rough than mine).. so they are sending her two stick on screen protectors. May have to try and just pop out her screen protector and flip it over?

I read somewhere you can remove a plate or something on the laptop dock to make extra room. I might have been seeing things though

Ugh my defenders head phone door came off the phone recently just a confirmation of this problem sadly i would have thought it would have happened to the usb flap first being that i dont use headphones that often. I dont know if i should try to get them to send be a new silicon part out now that I got a body glove case today Seems to be a good alternative to this the grip on the case is nice and theres an option to have aclip on the back for a belt clip that comes with it Witch would be good if you used the Defender holster but you can replace the clip with circle shaped peace that finishes the case only thing that might be bad is there is no protection for the ports. I will say that it being all in one layer unlike the plastic and silicon on the defender means that there is no creekiness that i some time felt on my defender. it setill clips together on the front and back similar to the defender plastic layer though without a built in screen protector.

Screen Protectors that fit?

I guess I have bad luck. Im looking for screen protectors that actually fit the entire dimensions of our HTC one's. Tried 3 diff brands on Amazon all have clear clarity but none of them fit. I bought a cheap pack of 2 at a local accessory store, when I get home I will check the brand, as the fit is almost perfect (there is maybe a 3/4-1 mm gap at the bottom) and it has held up for me pretty well so far.

Of course, now that I'm home, I can't find the packaging. lemme see if they list their brands online, and I'll keep looking for the package.
Have you tried the original HTC ones (SP P910)?
I've bought them on eBay for about 5eur,a pack of two.
They didn't arrive yet, but I've bought from the same user for my Incredible S and they were original and good fit.

I bought this Tech Armor 3 pack on Amazon. I messed up the first one like always but the second one went on perfectly. For the first day or two it was rather sticky feeling but after a bit of break in time/use it feels just like the stock glass screen. I've been using it for about a month and there's been no peeling, bubbling, or scratches. It's basically edge to edge coverage. There's maybe a 1 mm gap at the bottom of my phone with the top flush so you could split the difference and have almost no gap all the way around.
For $6 shipped they're a good deal. I don't notice these at all and I'm not a fan of screen protectors in general. Since I haven't found a case I like for The One at all and I wanted protection for putting my phone face down when I'm at work these fit the bill for cheap. I just ordered a DevilCase bumper and back cover and I'll likely continue to use these covers even if I like the bumper combo.

I have the black HTC one and I ordered the gray diztronic tpu its amazing. Screen protectors work perfect with it. I've tried like 6 cases and I'm set on this one. Its cheap too. Plus it looks awesome on my black phone.
I will check out the tech armors
What's wrong with the glass screen protectors ? Those fit perfectly and do not ruin the feeling (like all plastic protectors do) ?

I think I'm going to try the glass ones. I just hope they don't mess with the touch sensitivity etc.
I use a mime ghost on my one and there is no negative effect whatsoever.
// sent from my phone //
Note on the product page for touch sensitivity
"Please note system software 1.29.709.12 or newer is required for use with our HTC One Ghost Glass"
Spigen, Spigen, Spigen. Spigen all the way! The best clarity and perfect fit for my htc one (and all other phones for that matter)
I purchased a Nillkin red hard cover for my One, solely to add grip after a few slips, which come with a Nillkin screen protector that I decided to try. Applied really easy and has an excellent fit and the feel aint too bad. I'm not a fan of screen protectors generally but decided to try this one and it's perfectly fine.
Once you go glass, you never go back

Tempered Armor Glass Screen Protector

Tempered Armor just launched their Galaxy S3 tempered glass screen protector December 2nd. Saw a review video for their Note 3 protector and absolutely loved it (Link if curious: http://youtu.be/Qzhst5jrBtI). I picked it up the same day it released.
It came in two days ago and of course I install it immediately. At first, I thought great, the adhesive is doing it's thing. Then, once I took the blue plastic cover off, the disappointment set it. At a nearly uniform distance completely around the protector, the adhesive doesn't stick. I had used their packaged microfiber and their packaged isopropyl wipes for the install. Thought cool, maybe it will take a few days. And fast forward to today, it still looks the same.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I love how it feels; I've always hated those crappy plastic protectors.
I reached out to Tempered Armor via Twitter and got no help other than them claiming it was user error and/ or the alignment is off. I sent them a Dropbox link with pictures of the alignment and they came back with the protector won't work if it is "off a hair".

So if you are thinking about ordering one, make sure you have a micron microscope to get it aligned correctly.
Meh,
I have had similar problems with SProtectors. I do believe that the glass on most S3's have a slight curve at the outer edge.

Whenever I press down on the outside edge, it feels like the glass protector doesn't even try to stick. I feel like the adhesive wasn't properly applied to the protector before shipping.
What really got me was when customer support mentioned if it was "off a hair" it wouldn't sit right. How are you going to sell a screen protector that has a fault tolerance in alignment of a width of a hair?
Typical lack of customer service or care. This why I try to support companies like, Anker, zero lemon, Amazon. They actually care about quality and their customers. As info,
We have 3 galaxy S3 in my home and all have a slight curve downward at the edges.

I love tempered glass screen protectors. But why spend that much money on that one. I got mine off Ebay and they look way better than the one posted in the OP. The one I have sticks all the way around.
here's an example of one... (not sure which seller I bought from. it's been a several weeks since I ordered.)

I knew of the owner of the company from my days as an iPhone modder. Thought he would be a bit more "in touch" with the community and more helpful than "nope, you broke it. lalalalala can't hear you".

Hi..
I would like to buy one, but 0.4 ones seems to thick as they seem to raise screen level above some cases lips..
Do you have slimmer one or is that one ok ?

The one I have is .3, so just a bit thinner. on all of the cases I have used, it doesn't interfere with the case. I have used it with the Otterbox Commuter case and it looks fine. Right now, I'm using it with a rubber/plastic case that I found at Walgreen's of all places. There is usually a small gap between the edge of the screen protector and the case. I'll see if I can get a picture up
EDIT
Here's mine with a case and the glass screen on it (sorry pic quality is bad, taken with an Ipad, of course)

Thanks for pic..i will definitely look for a glass thinner than 0.4..
Whenever i put a screen protector on my s3 the touch screen glitches, key presses al over the screen like whenever i press the app drawer it opens my notification bar, whenever i type something it scrolls up,so does that have anything to do with the quality of the screen protector?
