Hey there used to be a Google Code page but I can't find it (think they took it down).
No idea whether or not you need root (I have root) but I do have the apk on my sdcard. It works for me. All I know is that it DOES require 2.1
So took it out and mirrored it and here u go. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.

This works fine on my htc desire. But it requires me to be connected to internet all the time. If I shutdown my internet it does not work.
Is that normal?
Yes. That is normal operation. Your voice data is sent to Google and analyzed by their servers, then sent back to you in text form.

Hay guys I'm new here so please forgive me if this has already been addressed but I could not find anything on this matter . I'm trying to get full web access with t-zones using the settings on the Dash Wiki and can't seem to get it to work . Does this work around still work ? Or am I just doing something wrong ? is t-zones not available anymore? every time i go into my t-mobile to make changes, i can't even see that option. very annoying. what's more annoying, the total internet is not even listed as a service i have!

Ummm you just have to call tmobile and add it through the phone by speaking to a representative.

I know that T-Zones works for me here in Boulder, CO. If I drive down to Denver, though, it doesn't work anymore. I haven't tested any place else yet (since I haven't been anywhere else lately, lol), but I'm already starting to wonder if it's going away...

this is what i meant. not how do i get it. i remember a few months ago t-zones was an option under add/edit services, no it's not there. i know how to add services. jesus.

Change your phone on the site to a V3 RAZR or the like.. The option should pop up then to use T-zones.

Haha thats what I did and it let me sign on for it...
this is bizarre. i changed my account to have tzones, got a text saying the changes were made (i see it online too) and my internet, outlook, google maps, etc has been working just fine & i made no changes on my phone.

it sometimes taks 24-48 hours for the provisioning of those services to take effect
i made the changes on thursday i think! very odd.
I can not get my bank java application to either send sms or connect to internet for activation or transaction. Pls help.

I think he just believes there to be an error with "java" with this rom.
he is not asking us to do anything other than tell him how to fix the java.
Firstly you should not have made a new thread, should have asked it in the Rom thread where people are more likely to help.
Secondly java is working fine in 3.2
Did you install 3.2 after a wipe or straight from 3.1? if so that might be your problem
Thank you Lennyuk. That was exactly my problem. I actually installed 3.2 straight from a stock rom and while the java was okay as in the program runs, I was unable to get it to activate (needs and sms or gprs for that). It just stays there for ever either sending a message or connecting with no result.
My suspicion is that there is a permission issue or something.
And I have made a post in the main thread, but it appeared buried in the issue of MMS etc.
As for my dull friend who equates every Nigerian to a scammer, I advice that you look well sometimes before you leap. You can check my profile on this board, I have been here for a long time. Pls watch what you say to people, leaping at people like an alsatian dog on community forums like this does not portray you as civilized.
You may be right with the permission issues there, as for a fix I am not so sure. maybe you should try asking in the main forum again now as the mms issues have gone away.

Try this:
Delete the "java" folder on your sdcard (NOTICE! You'll lose every java program installed already). Then reinstall them again. These actions may will bring them back to life. Make sure you can reinstall them before doing so.
BTW, Make sure your mms and internet connection work with other programs such as htc mail, original mms progam and etc... If they're simply not working, you may need to ask your provider about how to set them up.

Hello, need a solution as well. My Mig33 Midlet will not access internet for some reason.
I have a o2 xda IIi, which i removed the o2 today screen. ever since then any programs in midlet manager can not access internet. Can anyone help out there.

I finallt got my wifi connections working by changing my security to wpa/psk so I got that sorted out.
Was wandering if a couple things worked.
1)Sound?? Any sort what so ever.
2)The light on the keyboard..Is there a way to turn it on( ) or is it just not working yet??
3) The number keys on my keyboard are just soooo out of wack..No numbers and the symols it put's out don't corrispond with the symbols on the keys themselves..Does that have something to do with the provisioning or is that not working as well??
I'm using [MJG]Rhod.2.2.BLAZN.072110 if that makes any difference.
Hoping for some answers and I appreciate it.

You should definitely read thru the posts for everything you install first most devs tell you what works and what doesn't, but...
No sound in android for touch pro 2( meaning no matter what build of android you install, no matter who developed it atm there is no external speaker sound) other than in speaker-phone I think
Atm you cannot control your keyboard lights thru android, nor the hard keys you have on your phone, so make sure that both turn off before you run android off your SD card to avoid battery drainage.
As for the number key situation I have no idea, Im running 2.2 froyo by project android and I have no problems whatsoever with my keys...
and actually i just saw your forum siggy, if you have a tmobile touch pro 2 you need to get the fix for your keyboard. Search is your friend.

You need to read a bit more bud.
1. No
2. No (Turn it on before booting android and it will stay on 100% of the time while android is on but this is the only workaround currently)
3. Read up on FAQ about your startup.txt file. There is a cmdline that controls what keyboard you are using.
I appreciate the help folks. It's a shame about the sound tho..
Anyway..Found out my problem with the buttons..I was thinking that the provisioning dealt with the network, so I installed the cab for AT&T..That one didn't work(keyboard issues) so I installed the T-Mo cab and it's all fixed. Works like a charm.lol
As for the keyboard light..Mine just works. I didn't think I turned anything on in WinMo prior to booting, and it works like it should(slide on/off)..or at least I think it does..lol

Can it be possible to connect the phone via USB connection (for instance to a Mac computer)? I want to install my own Android app and I tried to connect the phone via USB and it doesn't work. Is there other way to install apps?

just put the .apk in your andboot/androidapps folder, and when you use the update tool, before you choose run android, go to meu>apps and make sure you app is checked in the lil box next to it. to transfer it to your phone you could get a bluetooth dongle for your computer, transfer it that way, or upload it to a filehosting site.from your computer n then download it from your phone

well you have to give a little more information then that for a definite answer. But the answer is yes AND no right now
If you are running the latest build of android for our phone with the sound working searching via speaking WILL work if you activate the mic first. This is done by making a phone call and then immediately after using the search feature and speaking. Once you do this once the mic shuts off again though. I have no doubt that till will be working in the next little while fully though now that we have sound finally.

I'm new 2 this board, hope u will be kind 2 me...
I installed the latest version of FROYO (FRX07) by using the bundle which ca be found here 2. Nice thing I have to say... Just something enoying. I noticed that everytime Android is running, there are a huge amount of other progs, as for example, Google Search, Weahter or Voice Search, which are running too. By the way even if I cut my internet (G3) connection manually in the network they have access to the web... like google telling me that I received a new mail...
Can maybe someone tell me how to fix this thing. I tried to shut them down, but a few minutes later, they were back again...
Need some advise here... Thx in advance!
