I have a question. Is there a way to have the icons without being locked into their ugly buble after root?

Yes delete them out of the theme apk. All the themes are in system/app except for the nest theme that's in system/framework then htc resources apk. ..in there there is 3 .pngs with the word container in them. These are the bubbles..delete the picture but leave the .png and name..resign and push back.

you can also run a different launcher. adw launcher or launcherpro they both are free on the market.

I had the evo, but like the size of the MTS and is also pretty quick and accurate for a 600Mhz

I love your Blackened theme. I even love the icons, but since I don't have replacement icons for all of my other apps, it annoys me to have some full color icons and some of your nice ones. Is there a way to edit your theme to remove the modified app icons? I'm new to the android, but I've been around the block a time or two for themes on WM. Thanks for your beautiful work.

If you wanted stock icons you could replace everything in the system/apps/ folder except Launcher.apk with stock apks, and then resign the update. you'll lose some of the theme, but that would be the easiest way to have stock icons
If you use a home replacement app, then you could download the modified milk icon pack I uploaded. Its in the same subforum as the theme, in a thread called extras.

actually, if he can sign the file, then he can use this with just the icon version. then replace the icons in the the .apk/res/drawable folder, then sign it, so that he would still have all of the elements of the theme without the icons.

Yeah, that would be better, then he'd still have the widgets and junk.

Does each internal .apk have to be signed or the overall?
You can just sign the whole update zip. No need to individually sign each apk.
It really would just be easier to install the icon pack I posted and use "Bettercut" (2 dollars on the market) to change shortcuts on the desktop. Unless you're concerned about the app drawer... then you should be doing what you're doing.
I chose those milk icons not only because I like them, but also because I hate mismatched icons as well. I think there are around 200 icons.
Hey, I am working on a motoblur theme for CM, and I have almost everything perfect. EXEPT the text on all of the buttons and stuff is black against a dark grey button. Can anyone help me out with getting the text on the buttons to be white so they are readable?
Also, another problem I'm having is with the backgrounds. I moved all of the small and normal backgrounds from motoblur into the launcher.apk of my theme, but they are not showing up in the list. Can anyone help out here, either?

i have wondered about the font color as well for a while.
but for the wallpapers, make sure they are named the same as the wallpapers currently in launcher.apk

hey man. yeah those wall papers have been pissing me off. i finished two different themes, and that launcher hindered both, thus causing me to start alllll over again. im using this 2.0 sht now, its pretty sick, theres a lot of new **** on 2.0, like a bad ass dock, with all these settings widgets, etc, my theme should be up a little later today. keep and eye out. and Freeky, pm me, lets get this collab going down!

im not 100% sure but I think that irrenhaus' advanced launcher allows you to actually add wallpapers to it .... also i know that if you build Launcher from source you can add your wallpapers in that way

Sorry if its not common to ressurect old threads, but I had to do a forum and google search to finally find these icons. I've been desperately looking for them.
QUESTION: two icons I'm needing but did not see in the 2 packs are the icon for the app drawer and the Samsung Email icon (White envelope with large green @ symbol)
Can anyone help me by providing those or letting me know if I missed them in the pack?

I want my own choice of icons and wallpapers. The icons I want is not on the market. You can download/see it through DA. So sometimes they don't have themes for it. Only icons.

use apktool to decompile any theme of go launcher you have. replace the icons you want and then recompile it. Make sure that replaced icons are of same resolution as original.

yes apk multi tool hai an cui interface and does everything. it will work too.

Hello, guys! I was wondering if someone could send me the APK file of the Android Launcher used on Moto X and Moto G (2013 Versions!). I usually use Launcher2 but I would really like to have the transparent status bar. I know the two launchers are actually the same and that I could set the transparent bar with root permissions on Launcher2 but I would really like to have it Without root permissions. I noticed that several people have been asking about it in other forums but I never managed to find what I was actually searching.
Can someone realize my little desire? Thanks!
