for what I have available.
The white appears to be pretty high-gloss so it should be easy to clean. I haven't taken it out of the package, though. For $6.00, it's not a real big investment...
no pics, but i got mine from amazon for like 6 bucks shipped. i really like it.it has a more glossy feel to it, unlike the stock one which has a "rubberized" feel to it. but EVERYONE notices it, and asks if i got a new phone. trust me, it's really cool. you'll like it, and it gives a fresh new look to it. and for 6 bucks? try amazon...

I'm a diesel mechanic, always have dirty hands, and it cleans up nicely. as previously stated, is it a bit slipperier than the stock cover with that "rubberized" feel to it...But i like mine. Good contrast with the black and white..

It would be nice if that were an extra back cover. The problem i think for some people is not wanting to mess up or add thickness to the cover they already own.
Check Ebay they make a white device now, so there has to be OEM white back covers floating around too

That looks like its just a spray paint of the original back. I did that with the vibrant but it was a non textured back so the spraypaint would stick pretty well. Even with the clear coat it still wore off pretty fast. I am guessing this is a back yard job so while it looks good now the paint will crack etc. Its hard to get the paint thickness to coverage ratio just right. around the camera area the paint started to crack on my vibrant one.
also says new and in the package haha.

Looks legit to me, or he must have done a good job to get the paint to be so smooth given that the original back is textured...

The white t989 does not have a textured back but a smooth hi-gloss finish. I have the white one so I can confirm that this is true.

I never said the white cover isn't smooth, I said that the Titanium back cover is textured. Which would make it difficult to spray paint it to look smooth.
I would trade my white battery door from my white gs2 for a black battery door from the black gs2

I got the grey/black from ATT. There was no way this phone was leaving the store naked, so I chose it (free due to a plethora of bull****).
Anyway, this case is actually pretty awesome. VERY slim, yet sturdy. It fits better than I imagined, and I had pretty high hopes. Also, the buttons retain their solid "click" when you press them with ease.
I highly recommend it. ATT has them for the manufacturer's price of $35. I will post pictures if anybody wants.
I looked, but didn't find a similar thread. Please let me know if there is already one!

i had one of these on a one x and my god i didnt think i was ever gona get it out so i went with the casemate that is like the otter comm all black it looks very nice with the white
I was worried about it being tough to get off too, but it's surprising. It's like the hard plastic is flexible to a certain extent, just enough to get the case off.
I do want that case you are talking about. My wife has one for her S2.

I grabbed the same case, along with a Case-mate Pop. The Pop is going back. Love the Speck. Wish they had other colors in the store though. I chose the Speck bc it's a quality case and it slides in and out of my pocket easily.

Same here. I would have preferred black, this gray looks kind of purple to me. I like how well it fits, I don't get dust under the case finally!

I might go to att and buy a speck or pop cause this cruzerlite case is messing up my zag hd on the corners and yeah there's already a speck thread. No worries though.

Best buy didn't have anything good when I looked. Amazon has the best selection, but most of the cases I want are pre order only.
I'm content with this case though, it does what I want.

I picked up the grey from the AT&T store as well. I like the contrast with the white phone and the black rubber around the edge, but I agree that the "grey" has some purple in it. Still, I really like the case and I'll only bother to change the color if this one wears out. These have been my favorite cases for my last two phones. They seem durable and offer great protection of all edges.

Man these things are expensive to ship... over $50 for just a case to ship all the way up here to the "great north" - canada. Anyone know if they sell these at any retail stores around here?
Also how does the Pebble/beyou or the green one look with the white one? Wish speck had more color combination... they all seem a bit dull aside from the raspberry pink one.

I have to agree here. I looked at the White S3, and just thought that it looked too plain. I mean yea... there's nothing special about giving a brushed aluminium look to plastic, but at least it's an added bit of depth. Didn't really want such a smexy phone to look like... uuh... another popular white phone that's not nearly as smexy.

Yea those pictures + screenshot of a listing in phone arena's database for a black s3= there's probably one coming. But not for awhile is my bet. Kinda a bummer though. I like my blue and all but black would be so much easier to match up with cases.

It's even worse that they're claiming that the ICON'S infringed on their patents. Going by their actual patent information in that document, and looking at the side by side's later on... wtf are they on? Well, we could easily say that the white phone on a green background is NOT at a 45-degree angle. And most of the others don't look remotely similar. I mean... thinking that Samsung's smiley in a speech box looks similar to Apple's own speech bubble? The Settings icon... what... because it has a gear in it? And WTF are they on with the photo gallery icon? NOT EVEN CLOSE!
Apple just seems to have the patent office in their pockets, as well as the judges they use for this sh*t, cause they are granted so many patents for the most ridiculous stuff it's unrealistic.

Wouldn't it be awesome? To buy a gold faceplate off eBay and install it yourself and end up having a shiney new gold phone. Beat that iSheep! But however I don't think it is possible simply because of the way the the phone was designed - and that was thinness first. Samsung has fused all those layers of glass (glass, touch screen, and digitizer[?]) together so we get a thinner product, but harder physical customisations/repairs. I might be wrong though, has anyone here replaced the faceplate/screen of their SGS3? Would it be possible to spray paint even the faceplate without getting the screen too?
What is your guys opinion on the way this phone was designed? (In relation to thinnest VS hard repairs, not how god damn ugly Apple made Samsung design the phone) Also, if you could, what color(s) would you paint your SGS3?

Really? I wonder how exactly they do it. There isnt anything on ebay thats like "Change your frame for Galaxy S3!" The only way i can seen it is to replace your screen as well. But that limits us to only white, blue and red frames. No to mention its a hefty ~$230

I also use the mercury red screen protector. I have a red back housing too with a brushed aluminum metal. Looks sick. Ill upload pics if ur interested.

Theres 3 options to change the color right now
Mercury screen protectors. Leaves a 2mm gap all around the phone so i wouldnt recommend it.

I've seen the aluminum cases and they look nice. I'm curious as to if they have a negative impact on the signal strength/ reception. If they don't, I'd be tempted to get one myself!
Yea the housing looks nice. I guess the goal for us all is to have a different colored S3, but preferably without adding bulk to it. The Mercury screen protectors are nice actually, as well as the replacement back cover/housing. So I guess there were more options available that i didnt know about when i started this thread.

I'm still looking at the mercury protectors but it seems that there are 2 versions. a flat one that leaves a 2mm gap from the edge and a curved one that fits perfectly.
I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way to get the curved one. but that is an option for you.
EDIT: and the housing.. you can always buy the housing and spraypaint it yourself.. or even handpaint it if you have the artistic skills.
I have a bezel and home button with infused "diamonds". No stickers etc. Looks nice with the Pebble Blue screen and battery cover.
