Hi Guys,
I just bought a touch diamond, 1.40.(something). It was in Chinese and I wanted to change it to English. The seller sent me a ROM in English but it was junk, and it did not support Chinese messages. I need an OS that is English but supports Chinese messaging as well as English is there a Rom like that? If so where can I download it. Also the English Rom they gave me is horrible. What is the best English Rom out there now for my phone? Thank in advance for your help.

As topic says. I have purchased the Samsung i620 with German language, and i would really like to get it in English.
I triede googling alot and also searched this forum.
Can anyone provide a ROM in english that works with that device? And maybe a quick manual on how to flash it

You can just change the language to english in settings.

I think the KS20 rom is not released in hungarian. In Hungary, the shops are selling it with an english rom, which is turned into hungarian here in Hungary, so basically it's not a hungarian rom.
I think the story is the same with the Diamond...

Edit: However, you can change the language of your rom for yourself Google it, it's device specific as far as I know, and do it on your own risk!

You have to edit the base rom. You can find information about this here on the Xda developers forum
Edit: Do you need hungarian roms anyway? Because if these roms are in a language you don't know, the best option is to flash the devices with english roms, you can obtain those from the devices support sites.

Well I speak the 3 main languages ( English, Spanish, Hungarian) very very well so its not gonna be the problem... )
Just my girlfriend whos willing to use the LG KS 20 doesnt speak English nor Spanish...thats why I should get the ROM in Hungarian for Her...

привет :-D I would recommend the cyanogenmod rom, I'm running that one & it has Russian as a language option.

I'm using the v2 rom infected, I must say I am very happy with this ROM but I have a little problem with English ... It can change language and enter the Italian in this ROM?

I just got HTC 8S for my wife, a russian. I bought the phone in New Delhi, India.
I need to switch the display language to Russian but it is not available in the settings->region+langauage.
Is there any way I can download and install it ? I have already downloaded a keyboard pack for Russian langauage which works fine...but I need to change the display languagae as well to Russian.
Please advice. Thank you.

Hi guys,
I have the same problem. My girlfriends 8S was bought in England. I've bought my girlfirend an iPhone (which is very easy to switch to Russian Language by the way - making this issue very frustrating) and we want to give the 8S to her mother (with Russian Language).
I can't seem to do this... Could you explain what changing ROM is? Really don't know why they just couldn't have Russian pre-installed on the phone, its not like Russia is a small country or unknown culture... pfft.
ps. No I'm not Russian.
