[Req]bootanimation - G1 Themes and Wallpapers

i want someone who can edit and combine two of the attached bootanimation. Basically i want to delete 0078.png till 00109.png from part0 and delete part1 from 1st bootanimation.zip and add 2ndbootanimation.zip to make one. what i want is pc style bootanimation out of two files. i dont have skill to do this. i will appriciate help.

Well, I have the files and am putting it together now. You should give the original post-ers credit for their work on these. All I am doing is merging them.
I don't care if someone modifies what I put work into, but some people do. So for now, when it's done, I'll PM it to you.

thanks man i wait for it. And I will give credit to the orignal posters once its done

Yeah, I'll be jumping all over this request.

Here is something like you asked for. I didn't remove the part1 from the second animation as it needed something to loop.
I used boot animation preview in my signature to do it. It is real easy with that tool.
create the boot animation root directory
copy the "parts" in to the root directory (i did have to resize the "windows" images from 200x200 to 320x480)
select the "camera" from the toolbar
select the animation root directory
select the output directory
done
here is a preview, which boot animation preview also creates.

Thanks man for the help but its giving me black screen. I tried with the bootanimation tools like you said but its not working. It plays fine on PC.

try unzipping and rezipping with no compression, i am not sure if that zip file has compression or not.

My take on HTC's green theme (GreeNYC)

Was playing around with my dash recently , after flashing it to the htc's rom and made a couple changes, so I thought I'd share.
I know alot of people dislike the green theme, but I like it, so figured maybe someone else will too.
I'm using an official htc rom.
Here are a few shots of changed icons and bg's and how it looks:

As you can see I've edited the xml, I've also compressed some of the fields down so you don't get the scrolling home screen, where everything you need is pretty much contained within one page:
I've also edited the branding brick on top to reflect the regular alphanumeric code (since there is no alphanumeric translation like there is on the tmo rom):
And added on the following backgrounds for misc actions:
To Do: all you have to do is place the files in the same folder structure that appears in the zipped file (using either resco explorer or whatever explorer you use). Then adjust the home screen settings (Settings>Home Screen) accordingly, reboot the phone and you're good. All files are included in the zipped file.
Just always remember to back up your original files.
You made the green look good! Nice work

Walking Android bootscreen

Hi guys, just created my first bootscreen. It's a walking Android, ripped from the GIF by Cramit:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2489/4219688545_13cb6f0e0f_o.gif
(the one above is Cramit's original one)
I cropped it to 320x480 and removed the frames where the robot is "generating" (translucid). All you have now is the fully-formed (opaque) android walking, in the correct screen size. Here it is:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The flashable file is attached to the post.
Most of you should know how to flash a bootscreen, but, for the newbies, the instructions:
1 - Download the file to a folder of your choice
2 - Launch adb from the command line
3 - Type: adb push FOLDER-WHERE-YOU-DOWNLOADED/bootanimation.zip /data/local
You can also try putting it in your SD Card and moving it to /data/local via Root Explorer, but I can't guarantee it'll work.
I am also thinking about releasing a version merged with one of these Google boot screens:
or
So let me know if there's any interest in such versions.
Regards!

You mean just the Google bootscreen or the Android animation fading to the Google name? If you want only the Google logo with the loading circle, here it is. Tested and working on my 32A. Instructions for installation are the same as the OP's ones.
Thanks mate!!!

Not sure what file expert is but have you checked the permissions?
If you have root explorer or es file explorer you long press on your animation and goto properties and it should say "permissions. Rw-- r- r" if not you have to change them to match

WARNING: INSTALLING A BOOTANIMATION IMPROPERLY CAN PREVENT ACCESS TO YOUR PHONE REQUIRING RECOVERY TO FIX. PLEASE FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO INSTALL A BOOTANIMATION TO PREVENT ISSUES WITH YOUR PHONE.
Instructions:
1. Download bootanimation from this link: LINK
2. You'll need root access on your phone, as well as a file manager that has root access abilities. I use ES File Explorer and have the "Root Explorer" option turned on.
3. Using your file explorer, navigate to system > media
4. In the media folder resides an existing bootanimation.zip file. Either rename that existing file to something different for use later, or overwrite it by pasting the new bootanimation.zip file.
5. Now you must ensure the permissions are set properly for the bootanimation.zip file. I posted a pic below illustrating how the permissions must be set. This step is extremely important, so ensure its done right. If not set properly, you might lose access to your phone upon booting.
6. Reboot phone, and the new bootanimation will play.
nice to bad it wont work with stock :/.....but you should make more boot animations
