ultra-thin case? - HTC Aria Accessories

So I have now acquired two TPU cases and evaluated a hundred more.
I did a search and read all of the threads about cases on this forum. Maybe someone knows of something new that's not in these threads.
What I really am looking for is a hard case/cover that is very, very low profile like the ultra-slim ones that are available all over for iPhones. The TPU cases add probably 2mm of bulk in every dimension to the phone, and I am looking for something that is more like under 1mm of extra bulk in any dimension.
Also it'd be nice for a case to be easy to get on and off of the phone since I have to remove it to put the phone in the mount on my bicycle.
Anyone seen anything like this?

[Q] Need some case advice

So I've had my Verizon GNex from day one launch and I love the phone, however I do not love the slippery plastic body. I knew that after the first day of almost dropping it I would need a case. Since protection was a priority I choose to go with the Otterbox Defender. A great case for protection, but it has its flaws. I found that after taking the case on and off to switch batteries out, that over time the plastic clips that keep the inner tpu case snapped together have slowly started to break. Problem number two I have is that the screen protector creates a hazy rainbow when it gets any kind of snudges on it. I don't know about the rest of you but the beautiful screen on this phone is one of its main selling points for me. So as an alternative I have been using one of the androidify cases, which is nice looking but offers no where near the protection the Otterbox does, as well as the fact that while its a rubber case, it is also very slick to hold. After mulling over some of the posts here and on the web, I have narrowed down my list of potential future case to the Otterbox Commuter, or the Seidio Active. One of the things I really love about the otterbox is the way they raise the vol and pwr buttons, however the tpu outer shell of the commuter concerns me as far as being as slick as the others. So what I am looking for and this is where all of you can help is what case to match my requirements to. I need it to be a sturdy case, size is not an issue, however I don't want to double the size of the phone either. I do not need a screen protector, so if it comes with one it will not be used. I would like the raised buttons, however its not a must. Covering the ports is also important but not a must either. So that is my list, if any of you have good or bad experiences with these particular cases or have a suggestions for a case that fits my needs please share. THank you for your time.

What are you looking for in a case? Obviously you like it to be white, but what else?

Good protection, easy to remove, looks good and that it will feel good in the hand while not adding bulk to the device I like it thin.
The first case looks like it would add a fair amount of protection, and it's also aesthetically pleasing. It looks like it may add a tiny bit of bulk though; although, it might make it a little more pleasing to hold.
The second case doesn't seem that it would offer a lot of protection, but the holster is definitely a plus, and the case is fairly slim.

If you like it thin, then cross that first option off the list. Duo layered "hybrid" cases aren't thin by design. The thinnest I know, is from Seidio, with very nice in-hand feel and good protection.
The other white case with the holster won't offer you top or bottom protection if you ever drop it. So cross that off as well.
If you want single layer solution, you should consider TPU, it's a popular choice for a reason (beside price). CruzerLite and Diztronic are good options. CruzerLite's Androidified cases are noticeable thinner than Diztronic's classy version, but both are recommended. I wouldn't recommend any white TPU though, since they love to suck up color that rubs against them.
What I'm currently using now is a bumper case. There's a few threads about it. My version did have the TPU separation problem, but once I've placed a few dabs of superglue on area, I've experienced only satisfaction with the case. Here's the eBay page for it. I bought one copy from a similar seller, and a couple more from an online website that have stopped offering them. Needless to say, price have risen up a bit since when I bought them last.

Thanks that's kinda what i want but for the VZW model
I bought a case which looks very similar to the first one off amazon which fit very loose. I tossed the case out the day I got it. The phone was literally falling out of the case.
A link to the one i bought. Dont get it.

I have the VZW GNex. The bumper fits just fine. The top rim doesn't completely fold over onto the screen, but unless you're super OCD, it's negligible. The overall feel of the phone + case won me over. You should at least try it. For only 3 bucks (when I bought it), it's a great case for me.

I really like some of these Hard cases they're coming out with, like the brushed aluminum... but I REALLLY like these cases I've been looking at too:

I bought one of the gameboy ones and a couple of the flower ones... and thinking about buying two more of them, but I'm curious as to which are "more" protective?
It seems to me the silicone would be more protective because of the rubber touch... looking at hard cases, it almost makes me cringe wondering what would happen if I dropped my phone with that on it, it doesn't seem like it'll help my phone, in fact will make it more likely to break... so any advice here? Probably going to buy two more of the silicone heart/flower cases unless someone can tell me that hard cases are 'better' lol
tpu & silicone are more protected than hard plastic as far as impact, but against let say sharp edges/knife or something, then hard plastic would take the win. IMO i would go with TPU material, since it doesnt stretch/warp like the rubber/silicone cases.

Leather carry case for note 2 with protective cover plus

Anyone know of a horizontal leather belt carrying case with magnetic close that can hold the phone but with a touch more room than the standard size? I've just got the protective cover plus and it's great, hardly know it's there, adds more grip, protection, and looks like it's part of the phone, however it obviously adds a couple mm round the edges and now it won't fit in my existing leather pouch...
I've seen the XXXL ones on the american amazon, but being in the UK I'm hoping there might be something in this country? Also I think with XXXL it says it can hold the otterbox commuter so I'm thinking it might be too big.
I've heard this one allows some extra bulk:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Horizontal-...8&qid=1369055316&sr=8-3&keywords=note+2+pdair
But I cannot guarantee it will fit.
i just posted that one in his other thread, but i can guarantee it will fit(only barely though)

Searching for a case like Griffin Survivor, maybe Seidio Dilex?

Hey guys, new to here, I work in schools, and recently the case for our iPads catch my attention, never used rugged cases before, only TPU, or cheap silicone, or wallet style cases. I some how start to like that industrial design of the Survivor, .for now I use the original Quick Cover, but it has no protection from drops, just a piece of plastic case, with some fake leather flap, id does feel good, and premium, but was ridiculously expensive, but we all know, it's the same for other original accessories, and rarely they worth the price of the company's logo. For example, I searched for some good dual QI charger, but found on from 3rd party, ZENS it is, and I was awsome guys. Now about the case I liked, a searched for a while here and there, stopped at 2 options, Dilex by Seidio, and Aegis by Trident, the Seidio is more useful, and looks nicer on images, but the construction is different. I don't really care for port covers, as I have a pack of separate caps, I bought some time ago, as I only use wireless charging.
My perfect cover would have a built in stand, have good drop protection, not bulky and heavy, and work with a glass screen protector, I use iLoome FLEX, that are most thin glass protector I know of, and do not interfere with GPS, WIFI, and especially QI wireless charging. Is Dilex is the case for me? any good bad experiences with it? how is the material? in compare for OtterBox, is it silicone, or rubber? and how much hard or soft it is? Thank's. and feel free to recommend me other covers that come in mind, that have that features. I rarely drop my devices, but just in case, and want to try some rugged case, maybe I will like it, like I like it on our schools iPads.
