Video recording with 8mm camera effect?

I just saw in apple store there is an app 8mm HD http://goo.gl/Gof5S for vintage video recording.
in Android Market there is an app RetroMoviePlayer with the same effect but it crashes on SGS2.
Does anyone know if there is another similar app? (i couldnt find one)
I think it would be really nice to be able to record vintage videos on SGS2
Thanks
Did you try videocam illusion. Try lite and go for pro version.Vintage is not there but u can get near vintage video with some other video effects.

Video playing resolution

This device(Desire) has 480x800 resolution.
May I know is there any different to play video which is 720p(HD) and 360p?
As our device is only 480p, so does it carry the beauty of 720p video playing?
Tbh i hahe neher been able to play a 720 p video on my desire as the device lacks the power, but to answer your Q:
720p video will in theory look better than 360p.

darowen, let's say... I can play almost every 720p video on my Desire. All you have to be sure about is that the bitrate of your video isn't too high - then it will be laggy.
And yes, it's worth watching 720p instead of 360p...

Z5 premium 4k Display only when image enhancements is turned on?

It's advertised that the Z5 premium upscales the pictures and videos to 4k when using the stock sony Album or Movie app. But I was told by a Sony staff that only if i have to turn on Xreality or super vivid mode. If i turned it off the pictures in the Sony Album will only be rendered only in 1080p. Can anyone confirm this? As i hate to turn on Xreality due to over saturated colours, especially the reds

as far as i know nope, it will upscale to 4k automatically in which ever app you are using ( for pictures & videos ) and even when you turn off X-Reality or Super Vivid.

Yeah. I believe it upscales from 1080p by default in nearly all use cases, the exception is a few Sony apps will natively display 4k content without upscaling from 1080p.
The bad news is - there's a good chance third-party apps like MX Player will downscale 4k content to 1080p followed by the device scaling it back up (but I can't be sure).

Best video recording application?

I noticed the video camera is a bit "bouncy" and does not stitch very well. What cameras apps on the play store will be better than the one plus 3 stock camera app?
Optical image stabilization is currently not working when shooting in 1080p. You'll get it if you record in 4k at the moment.
Other than that, Cinema Fv5 is a great app for recording, although stock is far easier to just pick up and use.

Excessive hand movement leads to ripples forming in the video recorded in 4K.
I wished it was fixed....
any idea how to get it to work? or we have to wait for an update from OP?
Having this issue in 720p and 1080p, in 4K seems to be better.

No more high quality youtube videos

Hello everyone. For some time now my Tab pro 8.4 lost the ability to play 60fps video on youtube. I was ok with even though it sucks a bit. But now I can't even have 1080p & 720p 30 fps anymore! I'm stuck at 480p which is unwatchable.
Anyone has a solution? I am full stock at the moment.
