code worked for me as well.
Im ordering this one since its cheap while i wait for defender.

Wish the pics were better so I could see what it really looked like...I cant quite make out the pattern on the back. Looks like a weave look near the top, not sure if that carries on down the entire back or not. Any one have a link to pics with better lighting, or even better...a video? Thanks for sharing, it looks nice but not sure if I can spend $20 for just a silicone case....

Pics anybody?

Mine is sitting at home on the counter, my wife just sent me a picture of it with her phone, but she has an LG Lotus Elite, so I'm not really sure if you want to see that, haha.

I bought the Commuter....meh....it's ok. Got my Impact today and I think I've found the case for me. love it so far.
I like the case. It's pretty much what i've been looking for in terms of having good protection without the bulk. I'll try to post pics later.
Edit: pics. not great...but you get an idea.

Nice, looks a little bulky. Currently using a Seidio case. But i did place an order for the impact case today. Was in between the commuter one and impact. Thanks for posting pics.

it's thicker than your normal silicone case but I think the Seidio (I have the Surface) makes the phone bulkier. The impact at least is more form fitting and doesn't add as much bulk. I will say that the Impact adds more screen protection than the Commuter. You can lay it face down with less worries.

Does the impact case collect lint and dust like the commuter?

How deep does the camera recess look, since you have it would you mind looking from the side?

Just got home (late night at work) and LOVE it! Great case, I had the body glove case till it broke around the volume rocker. This case solves the button area issues perfectly. My wife also really likes the way it fits and looks, so it's not just me either.

yep...not sure what the other guy was referring to wishing it fit tighter. It's snug. As far as lint, I haven't had a silicone case that didn't collect lint in the beginning. Then after a few days lint is usally not a problem.

Nice, that's the case I'm currently using. I really like it. It sounds like ill be happy with the impact case. Thanks

Thanks for the awesome picks. I know I really like the defender on my brothers iPhone but did not like the "screen protector". How is the screen protector on this one. Does it feel sticky or hard to swype your finger? Also, on my brothers, it always looked like there was "bubbles" under the protector which made it look like crap.
No bubbles at all and I really hate screen protectors and this one in the defender doesn't bother me at all and its very very smooth

Damn! you beat me to hi-res pics. My case is sitting on my doorstep at home. i can't wait!!
sorry but thtas ugly!
Glad to hear the screen protector looks good.
That was honestly my #1 reason for buying this - the built in screen protector. I was going through a new screen protector about weekly and it was getting old and expensive. And I HATE bubbles so glad to hear that isn't an issue.
Was hoping finger smears would be less but looks like that is still a significant problem.
The best part will be putting it in my pocket without worrying so much about the screen.
** Question - how tough is the screen protector? Will it scratch as easily as the adhesive kind? Hope not.
Lol, dude clean your house! You just got that thing and it's already filthy

Thank you for the quality pics!! I was wanting to see some good pics of the Defender so I could make up my mind. I am now 100% on getting the Ballsitic case. The Defender looks great as far as these high protection cases go, I just think the Ballisitic will protect better. Only time will tell though, this may be the tougher of the two, I dont know. Good luck with it man!! Maybe we can post some same angle pics of the two cases when I get my Ballisitic in, to help people decide and just to show the differences. Later

Yeah by the looks of it I do think that the ballistic would offer a bit more protection but im sure both are great cases if not the best. I do think that I will also get the ballistic when it becomes available and will just sell the one I like the least to a friend.
Just received my defender. Only problem I have is the clip is gigantic. It still fits in my pocket and is comfortable to hold.v I recommend it.

I'm curious but what do you guys do that makes you need such a beastly phone protector? It seems like it almost doubles the phone in thickness.

Seidio Innocase Active X - got mine today

I had this case for my incredible and absolutely loved the look, feel and protection. So last week i pre-ordered the thunderbolt active x case from seidioonline. One thing i really like about this case is the feel of the power and volume buttons. Without a case its very hard to tell if you're pressing them. The case is very easy to put on, rubber case first then the plastic shell to hold it together. It also fits (barely) in my verizon droid x leather pouch i use at work which is a big plus. The kickstand is a little harder to open but not to bad. The only bad thing is its a little pricey at $37 shipped but i had to have this case.

I had this on my incredible and loved it, great protection and looks sweet. Looking forward to getting it for my TB. I think they make great products as far as durability and style. If you want indestructible then otterbox is your friend.
I had the active for my Evo as well, with the same breaking tab problem. I'll wait for otterbox, and hopefully it won't take them as long to get out some product as it did with the evo.
i can see the ends breaking if u take the case off the phone a lot. the plastic shell on this one is a bit thinner than the incredible active shell.
I have it on mine right now and its actually really nice. If you push on the sides to raise the tab when taking it on and off you wont break the tabs.
I dropped my TB about 3 feet today onto rugged sidewalk and not a nick on the case. Worth the few bucks!
sent via r00t3d TB - thx jcase!

I'm a big fan of the case-mate tough, it's a similar style to this case with a bit more texture on the back piece for grip, plus I feel like the build quality is a little higher, here's hoping they make one for the TB!

I ordered this case , just waiting to get it. Just curious, did they include a screen protector with it?
Think i may just get the cheapo $5 case on amazon with the hopes that otterbox releases their case soon. I have had much better luck with otterbox than seidio plus they seem to be a bit thinner and mold to the device more snugly.

Clip Case by Pryo Skins!!! AWESOME!!!

So I was given the opportunity to test out 2 cases by Pyro Skins. This is one of them and it is my favorite for sue. It's made of high quality materials. It fits the tab perfectly and the clips hold the tab very firmly without even coming close to marking up the tab. It doesn't add too much bulk to the already thin tab. It doesn't cover any of the hardware buttons at all. It feels great to carry around and it looks really classy. I would definitely recommend this case to anyone! This company did an awesome job with this one and
there isn't anything I think I would change about it.

After i saw this i instantly bought it. Looks very good and the price is amazing
Wow, that case does look amazing, probably the best one so far.
And this is why it sucks to be an early adopter of electronics, when the first come out there are no good cases for it. Then you buy one or two and not happy with it, a few months go by and then new and better cases flood the market.
Used to happen with me all the time with how often I switched Blackberry's. I have Ghost Armor on my GT so I will stick with that until more cases are out.
But I may have to buy this one for now, it looks sick.
Update: Said screw it and bought it, for how good it looks and the price I would have hated myself for waiting and then it being back-ordered.

Seems tough to get the two bottom hooks out to angle it. I'm scared it'll wear the edges out over time due to it. What a shame. Close to perfection...
PS - Is it just me or do the side flaps block a bit of the speakers?!

Really ? The two bottom hooks come out nice for me. They'll probably loosen up a little after some time. As for the speakers, the hooks are just right at the bottom of the speakers on mine. Wouldn't effect anything.

How is the weight compared to other cases?
Same as my Acase Folio, which I love, reviewed at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1153572
The Acase lacks the opening for charging while the case is closed.
Can anyone post a picture/video of the Clip Case angled on the locking flap? I want to see if it is usable while on that shallow angle.

It will not go that shallow. There is a friction/spring action type thing that prevents it. If you were to force it down (which makes it feel like its going to snap) it will pop back up. Additionally, if forced down so the bottom of the tab touches the lip, the tab would be flat and not angled.
If I'm understanding what you are saying, there is no way to do it.
I ordered this case on Saturday and my wife said it was delivered today already...

[Mini Review] Case-Mate Tough for your Epic 4G Touch!

Just giving everyone a heads up, I preordered my case mate tough a couple weeks ago from theaccessoryking.com and just got my shipping notice It's still marked as preorder on their website oddly enough with today (10/7) as the expected release date. I'll type up a short review once it's in my hands.
http://www.theaccessoryking.com/cas...epic-touch-4g-case-mate-tough-case-black.html
The mini review-
This case is awesome, a lot better quality than I was expecting to be honest. It adds some bulk of course but a very negligible amount, especially for how well it protects your phone. If anything it just makes the phone feel more substantial in the hand which is a good thing IMO. It is still very pocketable, I keep it in my left ass jeans pocket pretty much all day and it doesn't make me walk funny at all! The plastic shell has a great rubberized ("soft touch") feel to it which just adds to the quality of the case. Overall I am VERY happy with this thing, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great case with more protection than the oh-so-popular TPU cases. I even like this thing better than the Seidio Active Limited that my EVO 4G rocked all the time, and I LOVED that case (even though I broke the tabs off 3 separate shells). In short- BUY IT and thank me later
Check out the pictures that were posted in this later thread if you wanna see it, theres no reason for me to post any. Thanks to mobeast for posting them.

Thickness measured @ the volume rocker...
With TPU-cases.com case: ~0.480"
With Case Mate Tough case: ~0.580"
IMHO, the added protection the Tough case provides far outweighs the bulk that the case adds.

I use the above case. It does not add a whole lot to the phone as far as size or weight goes. The kick stand seems pretty sturdy as well. The rubber on the outside gives the user the ability to grip the phone without worry of having it slip through your hands. The buttons on the case protrude a bit making them easy to find by touch.
All in all a great case and it looks good with the white GS3.

The Official Samsung Mesh case is probably your best bet -- Although it doesn't have a kickstand built in, all you need is a quarter, and boom, you got yourself a 4.8 HDTV.

About how many millimeters does that case add to the thickness? I know it's silly but it's something I'm always worried about.

The rubber on the outside gives the user the ability to grip the phone without worry of having it slip through your hands. The buttons on the case protrude a bit making them easy to find by touch.
All in all a great case and it looks good with the white GS3.

You can also possibly pick this phone up at AT&T as I almost did - Unfortunately, I didn't think the kickstand was very sturdy and winded up passing on it. I believe it is either $30 or $35 at the store I went too.

If you don't want to order online and just want to pick one up right away...Verizon has the same case but it comes with a Holster for $29.99

I have the same case for my S3 and Galaxy Nexus.

LOL, looks like I got ripped off! Haha. I purchased mine about a week ago and I'm not even sure if it's left china.. Scratch that, shipped through LA today. Should be here in a day or two and I'll take pics. Don't know if I'll have my phone by then or not though! Haha.
I used the case mate on my Epic 4G touch and it worked well BUT it is not slim, I tried the one for the S3 and it is just as fat. Obviously it depends on your opinion of what is fat or not but I felt like it was fairly bulky. I currently am thinking of getting a tcp speck case from AT&T and attaching a flygrip to it. If I do that I'll post again. Even though I have Verizon it seemed like the AT&T stores had best selection of cases around me (versus Sprint and Verizon plus a couple case stores, just fyi).
