kickstand case?? - Vibrant Accessories

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8091859&postcount=4
can anyone tell me if this case will work with the vibrant. if not, where can i find a kickstand case, other than the bodyglove brand.

Bodyglove has a cool case that has a kickstand. It's around 20-25
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

i have both the black mesh kickstand as well as the bodyglove. they both fit and work. the mesh kickstand may not be the top choice of some vibrant owners because it does not protect/cover the borders of the front glass/face of the vibrant as most cases do. i've had problems with the bodyglove case as it appears to be scratching the back case of my vibrant. i had the same exact issue on bodyglove case with kickstand on my hd2.
.
i let my sister have my bodyglove case. i actually didn't have a problem with the weaknesses of the black mesh case since the makers of it actually put some soft padding within the case to prevent scratches on the battery/back cover of the vibrant.

Got it on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/galaxy-s-I9000-..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item2a0a8f0118

I think that seller was selling 3 diff colors; black, white, and pink(?). I bought the black one 3 wks ago and recieved it about a wk ago. Initially, I thought that it was going to be shiny hard plastic case but to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't. The exterior is covered in a thin layer of hard rubber, covering the black hard shiny plastic underneath, while the inside of it is slightly padded. It looks a lot better in person than in pics.
Is the kickstand serving its purpose? Hell yea, it is...it makes watching movies on my dope SAMOLED screen that much more awesome The hard rubber makes for a good grip so it won't easily slip out of your palms like it sometimes would w/out it and it gives the phone an overall slick/cool (IMO) look. The only downside so far is that I'm getting some very small worn out spots where the hard rubber has rubbed off but it's not a big deal though.
Pics or it didn't happen, you say? Well, check 'em out !

Nillkin Dynamic Fashion Hard Case Review

Just thought I'd post my opinion on my latest case and throw up a few pictures for you guys to have a look at..
This is my second case for my S3, the first one being a FONEM8 Hard Slim Shell off eBay (www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140764120157) and while I was happy with the fit and style the rubberised texture attracted dirt like you wouldn't believe. In the end I had a grotty off white case that wouldn't even wash clean You can see what I mean in the 3rd picture.
Off I went looking for something similar in fit but with a gloss/shiny finish so it didn't end up all mucky and found the Nillkin Dynamic Fashion Hard Case (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230807084265) paid my £10 and waited for the postman. It arrived fairly quickly from China and I'm pretty happy with it. The rainbow effect that can be seen in the pictures is fairly subtle and can't really be seen in the pictures, its most noticeable in natural light.
Here's the pictures anyway (http://imgur.com/a/Hy2gp)

I have the black version of this and i can highly recommend Nilkin cases for the money they are great:good:
I got the white textured Nillkin case off ebay, feels and looks great

Those are really nice, I have the black textured one and it feels like it will protect your phone. Also goes over the bezel of the phone enough that you can leave it face down.
I bought one but didnt like it, i didnt like that theres little to no protection on the corners of the phone ,i bought a samsung vented case instead and like that better

The corners and top/bottom are a tad exposed, for me its trying to find happy medium between protection and keeping the device feeling slick and lightweight, can be tricky
I tend to go through cases quite alot (finished with about 8/9 for my iPhone) so I'll do a thread like this for each one I buy so others have a decent(ish) reference :good:
Here is mine...
Good.

Actually one of the better looking TPU cases IMO...
How's the fit seem overall? From the pics it looks great.
I may just pick one up..
Doesn't look very "ultra-thin".
Just a warning, if this is one of those cases with a diamond sort of "embossed" pattern on the inside, you have to be careful to clean dust from the inside, or it'll end up scratching the back of your phone.

Like most TPU and other cases, even the high end expensive ones, dust, lint, sand, soot will get in and eventually may cause scratching. I would assume most people take the time to clean and maintain their devices' appearance and or avoid being sandy, sooty, linty and dusty
Besides, the back will get scratches without anything protecting it as well.. I am waiting for delivery of the backs to my full body protection from XtremeGUARD. (ebay has them for $4 delivered http://www.ebay.com/itm/XtremeGuard...ccessories&hash=item35bcdc39ee#ht_3731wt_1270)

I found these much cheaper, at less than $2 delivered, but can not say if those will be the same as this one.
Here is the ebay link to the other ones, he has some other interesting cases as well, IMHO super cheap. http://stores.ebay.com/E-ChainStore/_i.html?_nkw=s3&submit=Search&_sid=1033895339
As you can see in the pictures above, it is very snug tight form fitting all the cut outs match perfectly and it actually covers the volume rocker and power button. At $4 delivered it is as good if not better than the Diztronic of similar design costing $10+ pictured below.

This is true, but in comparison with other TPU cases, this one as you can see is fairly thin and still offers good bump drop protection.

Used the Aegis on the Sprint Galaxy S-II and it was great. Fit, protection, button worked smoothly without forcing. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the styling. I prefer the more asymmetrical, slightly industrial look. Based on the pics, looks like they went even further with those styling ques for the S-III, but I'm sure the build and protection are going to still be top notch. If you can put up with the 'design by committee' impression the new Aegis shouts, I'm sure you won't have any regrets with it's quality and performance. Don't know much about the Body Glove,... but at least it looks symmetrical, and for me, that's at least a start. Spend some time on YouTube, there are a lot of un-boxings and reviews for many of the S-III cases out there. Good Luck. Any reason the Otterbox Commuter didn't make your short list?
Just didn't like the look of it really. Off had body glove cases in the past, but they've been hard shell cases. I checked in you tube and i just can't tell if the body glove is really silicone like and attracts dust and lint or if it's more rigid? I'll probably end up getting the aegis. I like the sleek profile of it and the design is pretty nifty. Thanks for the info!

I currently have the Trident Aegis case on my Galaxy S3. This is my second trident case and love the case, I like the styling of it and I also like all the options on colors. I do think the trident for the price offers a better protective case than the others at similiar prices. The only issue I would state is the outer layer (hard cover), is a tad bit too tight and feels like it might snap trying to get it on (although its not nearly as bad as trying to remove a otter box defender) which was not a issue with my GS2 trident case, other than that, the buttons function perfectly, it looks good (to me at least) and its protected. Good Luck.

[Q] What case are you getting for the One???

I really wanted the Black, but everywhere that I've called say that they only have the silver.
Anyways, what case will you be rocking?
I chose the Seidio Surface case for light use and the Seidio Active w/ kickstand for heavier duty.
this is the first phone I'll primarily be using naked, so I got this as a quick case to put on and off depending on the situation, along with a mime ghost glass tempered glass screen protector

I want to show off my phone for a while at least.
that has like the worst set of reviews I've seen for a case haha

I'd like something thin and clear to show off it's style but I'm bad about dropping my phone. Ideally I'd like something like the old invisishield that's just a layer over the screen and back but also covers all the edges. Any suggestions?
Incipio Dual Pro Shine Silver / Black
http://www.myphonecase.com/products...ver-black?utm_source=googlepla&utm_medium=cpc
Really like it so far. Fits the phone well. The only quarrel I have is that the screen on/off button is hard to hit right, but muscle memory will make it easier in the future.
Urban Armor for me!
Otter Box Commuter series case has never failed me before.
Speck GemShell
I had to cut slits on the sides of the volume buttons though to make it easier to press. Poor design.
http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Product...HL4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377215448&sr=8-1&
Diztronic TPU
I ordered the goospery slim, avoid it. Not only is the fit garbage but they put a sticker inside the case that has been impossible to remove in one piece.
I got the Verizon brand..."high gloss silicone" cover...
I have this case: amazon.com/Poetic-Palette-Premium
Its very minimalistic and feels very soft. Only $8 but I would have paid double.

I got the Tri-colored double dip official HTC case A lot of people complained about it scratching the phone but mine is unscatched. I just got my phone a few hours ago.
Definitely an Otterbox, most likely the Commuter.
i just like simple ones haha
HTCs own double dip flip.

Poetic Case Review with pics

I have been searching for a slim case that added no bulk to my sleek nexus 5. I looked at Ringke, Spigen but all the reviews on amazon said they damaged the phone corners. I was going to settle for a soft TPU case when I stumbled across this. Poetic sand black case for nexus 5. Even better it was 4.95 with free prime shipping. I figured I would take a shot since I know a lot of people like the poetic cases.
I must say I really do love the case. the cut outs for the buttons are nice, the top and bottom are exposed fully rather than cutouts but the case extends a bit past the ends so they would be somewhat protected on a drop. The case fits like a glove but I have had it on and off a few times and so far no damage to the corners. It adds almost no bulk, infact it makes the phone that much better for me. The sand texture on the case makes it really grippy. It does not slide around in my coat pocket, It feels really nice in my hand, almost like a coated textured metal. It extends far enough that if I flip the phone the glass does not touch the table and the camera lens does not poke out past the back.
Short of a bumper case, which I was not too crazy about this is probably the best case I have seen so far for the N5.

How difficult is it to take off the case? It seems more or less like a SLIM case but instead of using the texture on SLIM it uses sand.
Should've done a forum search. I did a review on the same case about a week and half ago, mang.

More reviews the merrier. OP isn't asking, hes doing his own review.
Decent case but find it unbranded as "quicksand" on ebay for $1-3. Sit back and wait 3 weeks for it to arrive though.
