To install custom rom put the rom in ur sd card, clear cache and user data and then install it via cwm
And for stock flash it through odin
Please ask common questions in FAQ

Can anyone please post a link for either of those or both stock kernels? I know i can reflash rom but i would like to just have the kernels themselves. Thanks in advance.

OTA hit my phone this morning. I'm going to attempt to upload later today.
djodjoni was so king as to post the whole deodexed /system/app in a zip file for me in this thread.
Those two particular apk you are looking for apear not to be part of it tho...
Hello guys, unfortunately forgot to make a backup of the stock kernel, can anyone please upload it from their backup please?
If you made a backup and have not installed the "s-off" kernel then please upload the boot partition backup for me (and others) please. Maybe the stock recovery as well if possible.. =)

Hello all,
I was wondering if we could get a thread started with stock roms that are able to be flashed in TWRP. Stock and if you can a flashable root .zip, or if for some reason that is not possible, then a stock rooted, and non-rooted stock please. Usually each phone has a thread like this, id just like to start one.

that is not stock, its deodexed and has some fc issues, im talking from verizon stock

please use google
- short answer, ODEX is how it comes from Verizon.
- deodex allows us DEVs to edit the code easier and also for themers to do their thing.
if you want purely stock, however, you will most likely want ODEX as this is how it comes stock.

I will be modifying my Semi-Deodexed Stock to a true, VZW deodexed Stock with init.d enabled, unsecured boot, Power saver enabled, and hotspot enabled.
That base I uploaded for you all was a rush order and I had to travel out of town. Now that I have completed my personal project, I will return focus to dropping a true stock base.
Ill try uploading one more time, it has the same updater-script as my Fluent ROM so it should be working, but if not no biggie, Neo has it covered :good:
The reason the Odexed rom throws a binary error on flash, is due to the fact that it exceeds the maximum file size for flashing on our m9's system (which I believe is 2gb Max). For this reason, I believe we will never get a stock odex flashable. Fear not however, I will try again on Monday with a stock deodexed rom. Should the rom however exceed that 2gb compressed file size, I will have to debloat it and offer the remaining bloat as a separate flashable for those of you who miss bogging the system down with junk
