I flashed the EE03 kernel, no problems a all! But the on thing I miss is being able to overclock to 1.3 ghz. Anyone know how to go about doing that? Thanks in advance.

But u still can't overclock to what he wants. that's something the devs have to build into the kernel.

We will haveto wait for the official 2.3 from samsprint and then that the source gets relesed. After that, its kitchen time with the devs and we should have lots of goodies!!!
So it will take time and effort.

Basically it can. If you put framework-res.apk into a zip AND if it is compatible with whichever ROM you want to put it on.

EPIC FAIL the G2 isn't any different from G1. its Touch Wiz and if you want TW go stock. or if your on EL30 Stock Deodexed then why are you asking for the G2 theme because its the same

If you are talking about the Stock FC09 deodexed ROM, it already has shadowkernel....I used that to root it.

So I've been told I need a touchwiz based rom to get any ics or jb working on my phone which is on metropcs. Can someone tell me how to figure out if a rom has it or point me in the right direction to one?

Any fc09 rom in the developement section... this phone did not get an official update to ice, so there are no ics tw roms....

Sadly no, the fix is for ics and later versions of android... so no gb roms, which is what the rom is that you linked... sorry I can't help more, but im not on metro.......
