Hello today i was playing with photoshop to create myself an ultimate ui
I made quite alot icons and thought maybe someone will be interested in some of them so i am uploading the pngs so you can use them...
The icons are for the WP7 style, based on ( guide here aswell )

This is a preview of the icons i made, some more inside the rar file, and can make additional ones if requested

You need a launcher like launcher pro and desktop visualizer as start. Rest is all explained in details in the link above.
If there are requests for icons i can make them, just tell me for which app and ill do it asap (remember to tell the icon size the vertical one 1x2 or the horizontal 3x1 one ) ( I am out of ideas, have all i need for now )

If its not too much trouble can you make an appbrain one? Also missing some for Apps categories which would be news/info, communication, entertainment, multimedia.
Places and task manager would also be great.
You don't have to make all of them its just some ideas.

What widget do you use to display calendar entries, tasks, etc.?
One of most popular is Pure Calendar Widget, but it is very ugly ...
The wodget itself is very powerful.
If it has ICS theme, beautiful skin, that would be perfect. Checked its skinning system and bit confusing, no wonder there are not a lot skins available. All sucks, old style rounded corner box with no padding!
I have been using Android Pro Widget. I use it over Pure Calendar widget.
Yeah Android Pro Widgets are great.
Jorte is a great calendar app that really nice looking widgets.
Pure calendar is very powerful and provides some rather optimized view of calendars...
If there would be a way to make the widget use more of the available screen real estate it would be great.
Also, resizable Widgets instead of many different size ones would be very convenient.
APW is very good...also try Wizz ...i use pieces of each and alternate...

Pure GRID Calendar. You can set it to show your events and description words from within the calendar days, so you can see your tasks for the whole month in the calendar view right on your home screen

Android Pro Widgets. It's free and has Twitter, Facebook, People, Calendar, etc.
I bought the Premium License because the themes are really cool... plus I wanted to show my support. Basically they are Launcher Pro Widgets without the Launcher Pro. APW finally freed me to use other Alternative Launchers.
Very handy.

Same as the stock Launcher but greatly enhanced, includes the ability to resize widgets (so they can fill the screen).
The Whizz Widgets pack is nice..the calendar is great after you tweak the settings, fonts, and colors a bit. I use it for my Nexus and my Tab 10.1

It may not be exactly what you are looking for but I have been using Smooth Calendar for a long time and love it. It was just updated for ICS yesterday and is now working fine.
Whats wrong with the default calendar widget?
The one from 4.0.3 now shows all day events.
get the Honeycomb theme for Pure Calendar, its the best looking one. I was about to ditch Pure till I find that theme.

wizz is exactly what i've been looking for! thanks! too bad vertical scrolling for widgets (especially wizz) stinks in ADWex
Been using Pure Calendar Widget since I bought my Droid. It's a great widget.
I made my own ICS skin to match the Beautiful CL Widget.
Still have to make a couple tweaks to it

The zip contains more icons and I gladly take requests if you like the style.

Quite right. Here's the full explanation
Download the zip, copy it to your phone and extract it to a folder on your "sdcard" or extract it first and the copy the extracted folder, whichever is easier.Once on your sdcard, the icons will show up in your gallery.
So, long-click on an icon -> Edit -> press the icon -> Browse Gallery -> Gallery -> select the icon.
That should do it

Since it is getting hard to follow all the threads with my icons, I decided to follow Nordpolcamper's suggestion and put all the icons in one place.

DescriptionThere has been a feature for some time in CM9 and AOKP roms where the user could set custom targets for the lockscreen and also set custom icons for them. When I started to customize my lockscreen, I realized quickly that the custom targets' icons did not match the stock icons (such as camera, unlock, phone, sms, etc.). I set out to make a set of icons that would fit in with the stock ones.
Usage
1. Move the icons you want onto your Nexus' /sdcard/
2. When you set custom targets for CM9/AOKP, simply press the icon to the right, showing your custom target. Hit "Gallery" if you have more than one icon-setting app, then select the icon that you want.
3. The cropping screen should show up. On all icons except Email, press "Crop" right away, it should be the correct size already. On Email, it somehow centers around the "@" so you need to resize it to include the entire icon.
RequestsI don't know what people use on their lockscreens most often so I would like to take requests on which icons to do next. However, I'm busy, so it may be a few days before I reply with the completed icon.

No worries. Easiest way is perhaps to just fork the repo, create icons and send pull request. That way we have one singular icon pack and our list grows.
To build it just import into eclipse, keep dropping images and build. No code changes necessary.
Updated with the following icons:
TeslaLED for slow88lx
GTalk for mistawolfe
Voice Search for ljmeli

Though I knew you could customise the shortcuts, I had no idea until I read this thread that you could customise the icons. I'd been stuck with a mix of b/w and colour icons which looked awful. Now it's lookin' good!
In my latest nightly of CM9 there are already system lockscreen icons for G-Talk and F-Book...and email, by the way, but yours is better.

This is a little overlay I created over the past days to make my phone look a little better and I thought I should share it with you guys
Sadly most of the overlay is part of the Wallpaper, which forces you to have the same layout, but I will clear the mess in the PSD and upload it for you. Maybe I will even let you request the displayed shortcuts.
But lets get started now:
These are the actual touch areas:
As you can see this overlay was created with the ParanoidAndroid-Rom as a base. Since it doesnt need major theming or modding you can easily apply it on other ROMs, but the postioning might be off a little. If that is the case, plz make a screenshot and I will adjust the wallpaper, so that it fits.
Ok now for the Setup:
Requirements:
-Nova Launcher (or any other Launcher, that lets you replace icons)
-UCCW (UltimateCustomClockWidget its free on the play store)
-Wallpaper and Uzips
-Uzips 2 (only if the first uzips didnt work properly!!!)
Nova Launcher:
-disable page indicator
-disable line between dock and homescreen
-reduce homescreen count to 2 homescreens
-grid size is 6 rows and 5 columns
-everything else is up to you^^
UCCW:
-install the app from the play store
-place the 3 uzip files you downloaded int you UltimateCustomClockWidget folder on your SD card
-open the app, press menu, select import skin and select my skin (3x)
-when you imported the date or weather uzip press settings->more, select a city and click set city [otherwise weather wont be displayed])
Wallpaper:
-simply apply the wallpaper^^
Now add a 4x3 uccw widget and select the clock skin.
Weather is in 5x2, as is the date widget
Add the apps from the app drawe to your homescreen, longpress and release them. Delete the text and select the transparent.png from the downloaded rar file to replace the image. Put those apps right were the touch areas are, which you can see on the screenshots above. Replace the image of the app drawer in the same manner, but with the app-drawer.png file

This is great NPC But I recommend you change the font, make it a bit lighter. And set the weather widget/whatever as the touch area to, redirect it to the News&Weather App.

Thanks for the feedback^^ lighter, really? I thought the font was already very light
Yes I would want that too, but UCCW cant do that if I am not wrong and even if it could, that would require everyone to have the same weather app, which the touch would redirect the user to.

yep I will. I wanted to throw them into the updated zip, which I wanted to upload today, but since moles said the next build was only hours away I think you will get them with the upcoming 1.8^^

in german text is easily possible^^
If you want a solid black background I can easily do that, but you will lose the boxes around the facebook and twitter icons or the weather, do you want that?
