I have a random wallpaper changer app on my evo but the images are to big all the pics look like their zoomed in way to much...whats the best resolution for evo wallpapers?
I believe it's 960x800. But, that's for a screen size image only, not a full image that you can scroll through while swiping through your homescreens.

Its really bothering me that the wallpapers are cropped and ultra pixelated even if the crop box is set to the largest.. I mean there has to be a way around this aside from using another launcher..

960x800 is the size you need for the best quality background (.PNG). As for a non-sliding background, you have to use a launcher that has that option, LauncherPro would be the way to go (ADW if you prefer, either way).
sup people, so I added a wallpaper to, and Is there a way so i don't have to CROP it? It looks terrible when its cropped imo.
Make it 960x800 if you scroll wallpaper or 480x800 if you don't scroll. Remember to keep subject in middle if your main homescreen is in the middle too.

480x960 as far as I'm aware is the best.
Also if you didn't know, when selecting a big as picture for a wallpaper and you get that box which you can move around to select what you want to display as the wallpaper, you can also resize it by dragging outwards at the corners.
I use 960x800 which seems to fit nicely across the 7 screens.
So what is wallpaper resolution for our DHD, because if I put 800*480 - i won't help, i can't select whole picture, is depends of size of horizontal size of picture. I can't choose 800*480 in any part of picture, only center -.-
Same thing with Sense and Apex launcher
In Apex if you disable scrolling wallpaper and make it single screen non-scrolling, then you can choose any part of the picture for full 800x480 portrait.

Hey guys. I have an idea. Is there any way to make your wallpaper blurry just on some screens? By that I mean I'd really like to have a normal wallpaper on my main homescreen but if I swiped to my second screen the wallpaper would smoothly become blurry. Thanks for any advice.
