[Q] Scrollable launcher like on launcher pro

Does anyone make one cuz i don't want to give up my sense widgets for it. Or I guess if there is a way to use sense widgets on launcher pro that would be even better
i dunno if i'm aloud to, but i want to bump this up since it is buried
i have never seen a way to do this in sense. I doubt it is possible.
As another option MOST widgets can be replaced with 3rd party widgets that are very close to sense.
ie
clock/weather/toggles - beautiful widgets (or clock and weather from fancy widgets)
Bookmarks - if you get launcherPro Plus (paid version) you get this
contact widget - see above or try mecontacts free
if you have a specific widget other then those you love in sense let me know i probably have a very similar replacement.

LPP Widgets on ADW?

I bought launcher pro plus before perma root hit for the g2, since then I have rooted and installed CM 6.1 rc1, and I have fallen in love with ADW, but I miss the widgets from launcher pro plus. Is there a way to make the widgets work in adw, or are their widgets similar to the ones in launcher pro plus?
Widgets from Launcher Pro onto any other launcher, no. Similar widgets in the Market, yes.

Overlap Widgets in GO Launcher

Hi,
I know you can overlap widgets in Launcher Pro, but is there any way to do this in GO Launcher? I tried that same Launcher Pro "resize trick", but it didn't work on GO Launcher.. any other way?
Thanks
Did you ever find a way of doing this?

5x5 Grid - WORKING

Hello Everyone,
This is not something that I have created, but it is in fact something that I have checked myself and it does work successfully. I am running it now.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/themes-apps/4x5-touchwiz-home-t2910243
The only complaint I have is now that I have 5x5 on TW home screen, the widgets that I have on a few pages are made for 4x4 and I cannot resize it, nor center it. Anyone know of any tricks to force a resize or set a permanent resize for each widget?
And yes, I do now that some widgets have the ability to be resized, but not all, so this is one of the ones that is not resizable lol
Ideally, I'd like to see a 4x5 option so that the widgets could be centered, but we still have 5 rows. Just my 2 cents.

anyone seen or know of a deodexed 5x6 or 5x7 layout to flash ?
why not just use a custom launcher like Nova? It gives all these options plus lots more.

NOVA completely changes the stock weather widget if you use the S5 weather widget and it dont let u use the calendar widget like its supposed to. This is the main and only thing i dislike about Nova.

I agree what about making a 5x6 custom launcher for stock touch wiz that will fit the stick weather widget? Is that possible

Nova vs System Launcher. Which is clear winner?

I do say that the best launcher with customization is Ofcourse Nova launcher.
Nova launcher beta version is now Google companion supported. It will soon roll out for Stable Nova version.
Nova vs System Launcher
[Nova launcher]✓
1-App drawer
2-Change Grid
3-change dimensions
4-Widget resizing overlapping.
5-Custom folder options
6-Backup and restore Configs

[System Launcher]✓

2-Clean UI
3-Minimal options
4-Supported with Themes
5-beautiful Setup
Some screenshots here with some themes.
Actually System Launcher takes more RAM than nova, both are good in their own features.
MIUI launcher also has live icons for Clock, Calendar and Weather app. Almost all the launchers have live Calendar option now but if I remember correctly, MIUI v6, v7 or maybe both also had seconds display along with hour and minute hands on the clock app icon. That looks pretty if you ask me
I've used Nova launcher before. It's nice. Lots of customization. However. I am using the default MIUI launcher now and I honestly don't miss Nova.
System Launcher
I am more stock admirer so nova hands down... I actually have only one page in nova and launching most apps with appdialer. I use launcher page mainly for some informational widgets and shortcuts
Nova all the way, light and well performing
Nova its customizable, you can turn off / Block screen with Double Tap. Also support 3rd party beauty icons. The bad Thing is some widgets like clock do not work properly.
MIUI stock its very good and support a lot of beautiful themes. Pretty widget and Wallpapers but you can put apps icons by alphabetic order.
smart launcher is way better than both of them, i really dont understand why it isnt more popular
No way default launcher of mi can beat nova...ecen stock Android launcher is better than mi home launcher...After buying a mi phone the first thing I did was to install Nova launcher.
And for the second choise use Buzz launcher
System launcher

pls share the link of the themes u have applied ?
I liked Nova Launcher but i like simplicity of Evie Launcher. It has double tap lock and supports different icon packs available on playstore. Give it a try. One more thing is its Free and Ad Free. Enjoy.
I like Nova launcher for the fact you can edit truncated app names, and scroll the dock plus other things. The ONE thing MIUI launcher has in its favor is the Quick Function Widget has a toggle that will turn Mobile data on and off directly without going thru the settings. Thats a big plus for me, but you cant edit app names, or scroll the dock Its a real shame that you cant directly toggle mobile data on and off with nova or power toggle, like you can do with Native MIUI launcher
