Thanks Mate

Complete Wildfire Index By 3xeno

Of course, for taste ......
After trying many roms, for me that does not give problems is the original of Cianogen Froyo.Las have always given me problems of synchronization of Bt
Greetings.

I have tried s cyanogen nightlies and stable and many others roms but as it seems i only get satisfacted with splash mod 1.8. cyanogen does lag quite much, gps not working you have to reflash radio, many force closes.

[Q] Desire Roms ?

Hi,
i just got a Desire ,and im gonna root it put on a new rom...but i see in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809328 ,that there are a whole lot of roms and was wondering what is the diff between them? I mean to go through all the faq of those roms would take all day,so plz help ? so basically im looking for a ROM suggestion (and an explanation for it)
There are few differences between each other in each section. Things like some have A2SD, some have DATA2SD and so on. Some are faster, some are smoother. To be honest, if you know what you want then just try each rom from that section. A rom is a personal preference. If you go for Non-Sense/Gingerbread, try Oxygen or CyanogenMod. Sense roms, I see a lot of people going for LeeDroid. Sense HD, I tried Cool-z. Try them out.
ohhh my godddddddddd.. another one eh.. and now not only you are asking for our opinion to base yours upon, but also telling us that you'd rather waste our time to save yours.. by the way, there is a forum search button, do lean to use it. Much apprechiated.
Feel free to troll away
Ive just got a HTC Desire GSM (from HTC Magic) and tried a number of Desire ROMS, incl Gingerbread, CM nightly, Oxygen, DHD ROMS. I was never a big HTC SENSE Fan, but I loaded this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818392 and so far stuck with it. I generally change ROMS ever 2 - 3 days, but this one has stuck. Its not lighting quick, but fully featured and very polished.
disclaimer - Its my opinion only and as other will tell you, flashing ROM is a personal choice. - cheers P
Tnx jelly and pp think ill try a rom per catagery

[Q] Please give your opinions - Which ROM to use?

Hi everybody,
I'm a HTC Desire user and used to using custom ROMs, but I have a friend who has a HTC Wildfire and wants to get away from HTC Sense with a custom ROM.
I've never used the Wildfire but should have no problem rooting it and installing a ROM for her, but which would you say is the most stable, bugfree, quickest AOSP ROM, preferably with A2SD+ (though not essential) to install for day to day use?
Ideally I'd prefer her to have 2.3 and above, but if there's a really good 2.2 ROM I'd be happy with that.
If anyone is familiar with ROMs for the Desire, I use Redux 1.2 and would ideally like something that perfoms as well as that ROM for her.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts,
Regards,
Wildcardspv.
Hello,
Personally I prefer the CM7.
Very fast and very customizable.
CM7, no doubt.
Thanks guys,
Is that this one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957140
If not, could you post a link to then thread, just so I'm looking at the correct one.
Are there any known things that don't work in this ROM?
Regards
Wildcardspv.
Here at xda yes, but there is a latest, 7.0.3.
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/20132-cyanogenmod-7-for-the-htc-wildfire-v703-5-may-2011/
Usually 1/2 days after geting out on the official website is created a thread here, but for some reason 7.0.3 did not.
Great, thanks man

[Q] [Question] Going back to Stock Froyo !

Hey XDA ,
This is my first Post here , Pardon me if I sound noobish (I'm a noob but I learn fast and I'm on my way of becoming an electrical enigeneer)!
I have an HTC Wildfire , rooted using the method in this thread a few months ago
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1145035
I'm Currently on CM 7.1.0.1 , and I have CWM 5.0.2.0 flashed
I went through a few versions of CM7 and this is the one that satisfies me the most.
However , I want to go back to Stock Froyo , basically because I want more stability and I think It'd be nice to have sense back (And I think the GPS is not working but It's not too important for me) , and I thought , I already have the phone rooted so I can install custom kernels , OC , ... , while still having the stock ROM .
I heard that going back to Froyo would make me "Lose" the Rooting .
First of all , What does this mean ? and is there a way of doing it without "Loosing " Root or Bricking the phone ?
If not , please recommend the best Sense ROM available that could be as good as CM7 with minimal known bugs (would appreciate download links).
One last thing (Don't know if it's relevant) , I partitioned my SD and it's working great using the Link2SD App , Is my SD still a GoldCard?
I went through the forums and couldn't find an answer , And again , sorry for sounding like a noob and thanks in advance !
Hey pal your best bet is to run a custom froyo sense rom that will keep root and work with your Sdcard partition. I suggest rem puzzle as its fast stable with app2sd and GPS working. Something to note, when you install it it will reboot a few times and take up to 15 minutes. Its normal, don't panic

thanks man , I guess I'll give it a shot in a few days
What about Gingerbread Sense ? Any recommendations?

Right now, your best bet for speed and stability would be RemPuzzle.
Gingerbread Sense Tom's like KoolSense work, but they're a bit slow.

ahhh why go back to stock Sense Rom, trust me, its become a habit for me to change roms like socks! therz so many to chose from mate. and yes i must admit stability is a huge factor in choosing a rom. my major issue with sense is the lack of over clocking. I tried kwbr rom, its sense alright, with beats audio but no overclocking ability, any way I use CM 7.2 RC3 for everyday use, its super stable and fast. i use go launcher as my everyday launcher as well, but its all a matter of taste in what you like, here is a link to the various roms available to our dear wildfire
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1029318
if you really insist on going back to stock sense, i will post the RUU link but just browse these rroms for a while hey...
PS. if i helped, please click thanks

You can overclock sense based roms. Rempuzzle has an overclockable kernal included. For kwbr you will have to flash a different kernal.

the best one is the one that's best for your needs, not what everyone else says is best for them.
try a few and find out...
but if you have already decided that leedroid is the best, i read the last page of the thread and found this link.
also, you should read the FAQ to set it up properly.

erm.. thats JB 4.2.2
I think the fastest is Mild wild sense ROM. But better try them by yourself because it depends what u need from the ROM etc. I personally use RSK 4.2.2 JB non-sense ROM because its the fastest JB (my opinion) and also I use it for about a week and didn't get any soft reboots. Good luck.

@Tobster2113
Hi
I'm new in rooting world! until now I read most of these ROMs threads:
GingerBread (AOSP):
==================================[Version]=================
MildWild GB-1 Based on Solstice ROM--------------------------------------->[v1.0.7/10th/March/2013]
MildWild based on CyanogenMod7--------------------------------------->[CM 8.0 JG Stable/27th/January/2013]
MildWild based on Oxygen 2.3.2--------------------------------------->[v4.9/23rd/January/2013]
MildWild Based on Redux2 TEST--------------------------------------->[v.MW-9.5/5th/March/2013]
Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) AOSP/SDK:
==================================[Version]=================
[ROM/MOD 4.0.4] Marius.a--------------------------------------->[v3.5/8th/March/2013]
And tested these:
MildWild Based on Redux2 TEST--------------------------------------->[v.MW-9.5/5th/March/2013]
&
[ROM/MOD 4.0.4] Marius.a--------------------------------------->[v3.5/8th/March/2013]
I like this ROM: "MildWild Based on Redux2 TEST" be cause It is fast/working all functions except GPRS in my case!! evrything work great and really fast! but after 2 weeks It get slow down!!!
"MildWild Based on Redux2 TEST" was simple at graphics and icons! but that was not important for me! in the other hand "[ROM/MOD 4.0.4] Marius.a" was better in graphics and have some small nice featuers too. but again my GPRS do not work under it and after some hours my WiFi do not work too and some reboot start ........ !!!
as all above friends said, better to test them yourself on your phone but in my opinion it will be wiser that first read most of the users posts/responses at those threads!

yeah,not a sense rom.
Until now best custom ROMs for my Desire /s
..are :
MildWild
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=169552817
Those roms are working for me the best way. Phone is stable and without crashes even thru the fact im apps and tuning maniac
Definitely worth to try them at least.
Hi again m8s
From my last post until now, I was installing and testing this great ROM "MildWild GB-1 Based on Solstice ROM" from MildWild.
For 7 days, It worx great!!! I'm really happy to see not only a Custom ROM work without any problems but also it is much much better than original OS on HTC Desire!!!!!!
Well done MildWild :good:
If @Tobster2113 you did not test it yet, please test it and tell me about your experience! All features are working great and I install some app from Google Play without any problem! (GPRS and WiFi worx without any problems!)
Old School - I've tried most of them, Mildwild makes good roms, used to love his Oxygen ones.
Newer Roms - the RSK one is nice but the open/close app drawer has an non-standard icon and not easily changeable. All of the other JB ones seem very laggy and sooner or later back to Euroskank or a CM7.2.
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=cm7&device=bravo
These are obviously my own opinions and others may, and are welcome to disagree
Regards,
Jim
leedroid is one the most stable i have used
I wouldn't really call it the best, but the fastest Sense ROM I have ever had is the one in my signature. I need a fast rom, so this is the best for me.
Recently Founded!
Hi again!
Recently I found this site http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/ . I was testing one of theirs Custom ROM for "ZTE Blade" mobile phone and It was so fast and stable.
Therefore, I will test this ROM http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Bravo_Info for "HTC Desire" too! If until now you did not test these ROMs, Maybe It will be help full!
Note: These ROMs use basic functions and features (To be fast and stable) so to do App 2 SD thing you may need to use this: [SCRIPTS]CronMod-INT2EXT (updated 02/28)
I hope this was helpful!
Good Luck

[Q] [HTC Desire HD] Searching kinda stable Android 4.x.x w/o Google

[HTC Desire HD]
Hello folks.
I was enjoying my Stable CM 7.2 ROM for a long time until i wanted to get some android 4/4.2 apps running on it. I tried a couple of CM 10/10.1/11 ROMs but i got allways issues (SD Card unplug / touchscreen starts doing things on its own / other little bugs) with it.
Could you guys probably recommend me an Android 4.x ROM without google implementation, i dont need any special features, only a smoothly running ROM ;D.
Any suggestions?
Thanks and best regards

Thread closed,
Best rom threads are against forum rules. Best thing to do is to simply flash different roms and try them for yourself.
Many thanks,
Ghost
