I'm new to hacking/rooting, but I have managed to root my evo and install a Rom. I now have been looking into updating my radio, but i don't know if my radio is the newest one out or if its the oldest one out? Lol. So here is my phone info remember I'm new to this so some of this might not even matter, Idk.

Hey guys I'm having a problem with my baseband version I'm running Evo zone updated 18 Jan. 2011 and the baseband installed in my phone is 1.39.004.26 I tried to update to the latest 2.15.11.19 but it won't let me update if you can help me with this will really appreciate it thanks.

First, I'm just gonna say it... wrong section.
Secondly, do you happen to have the CustomMTD mod? I did and it wouldn't let me update the radio. I had to undo it, flash the radio, redo it.

For future reference, as said above, the Q n A section of the forum is better suited for questions. Since its hear though, what do you mean by it won't let you? Errors or what?
No I tried updating but it won't do the update goes through the process but it's just that not update so please help and I didn't understand what you said before sorry thanks

Ok guys hopefully this is an easy fix. My wife's driod inc, previously mine before the TB, has random restarts.....I think it might be my radio but I dunno if you can help it would be greatly appreciated .... Specs below.

The only restarts I've suffered have been related to wireless tethering and a quick search of a couple sites doesn't show much about that version of radio causing problems.

Try flashing a new kernel..after flashing to a Rom my phone would reboot too until I flashed a new kernel so It might work for you too

You can just flash only modem (It has to be rooted) .
Many people says it's better ( I didn't see much different on my location).
The latest is I747UCLG1 . The previous one is I747UCALEM. Assuming you got AT&T Galaxy S3 :good:
