Here HOWTO for linux user:
you make it at your own risk, I take no responsibility for eventually damage your Device or PC can take
1. download BLAZN REALESE and extract it
2. go to folder andboot, you'll find there file system.ext2
3. Do right click within folder (not on the file) and choose
"OPEN IN TERMINAL"
In terminal window copy this code
Code:
sudo mount system.ext2 /mnt -o loop
enter your password
DO NOT CLOSE TETRMINAL WINDOW !!!
you've mounted this system.ext2 file in Folder .../mnt on your PC
REMARK: If you want to edit some thing and not just copy stuff from system.ext2, you need to open your .../mnt Folder as Administrator
To do so click with right mouse ON mnt folder and choose
"Open as Administrator" .
Enter one more time your password
4. go to folder .../mnt/framework on your PC
5. you see here file named framework-res.apk this is the actual Theme BLAZN !!!!!!!
6. copy this file to another place on your PC
7. unmount system.ext2 with this code in terminal
Code:
sudo umount /mnt
Close the Terminal window !
8. Boot your Phone (with new FRX03 on your SD Card) in WinMo and put on USB.
Then go into your SD-Card folder and do steps 1-5. Just mount now the froyo system.ext2 like I said before
9. as you can already think REPLACE the framework-res.apk with one from BLAZN
10. unmount system.ext2, AND DON'T FORGET TO CLOSE TERMINAL and safely remove your phone from USB !
And that's all !!!!!! You have now new FROYO FRX03 with BLAZN theme !
It took me about 3 min time and I'm suuuuper happy Now have full working brand new Froyo FRX03 with my lovely BLAZN Theme
Please tell me if it worked for all BLAZN fans !!!

Кстати на НЕ стоковых релизах нету русского языка только 5 основных. Так что я лучше буду на стандартную полную версию ставить свою темку и доустанавливать нужные проги...

I can post this file here, but if you don't have linux you will not to be able to mount system.ext2 file from Froyo to copy the Blazn framework-res.apk in there...

Thank you, it's actually a VERY good idea , cuz it was a friend of me, who just mounted ext2 file from Phone storage card and FORGOT to unmount it before he unplugged his phone from running linux
So if you don't have any idea of linux - let it be
However if you do know how to mount and unmount files and how to work with admin account its pretty easy and fast to do.
Besides guys, we're going to have a new BLAZN build out soon... I can feel it. Workin with Reef to get the last little bug squashed.

In old BLAZN there were only 5 languages EN - DE - FR - IT - POR...

d0nate. I have ubuntu on my pc. I want to mount a single file only to my system.ext2. Using ubuntu. I'm a type of guy that I like to learn stuff. I don't like to bother people. But i need to try this file. Can you tell me what comman I have to type on the terminal. Thanks

Of course it will... BLAZN is basically stuck in FRX00B (if you got the 'reference' build from then, it wouldn't have language support either...), we're going to bring BLAZN up to FRX03

If you don't have Linux, you can copy framework-res.apk to phone.
Use "Droid Explorer" and can copy, delete, rename any files direct in connected phone with runned android.
Changes will saved in after exiting.

I didn't find there what works on Rhodium devices.
Could you tell me if
- wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, GSM-Phone, camera
- headphone, loudspeaker, G-Sensor
are working ?
And how long the battery lives ? With mine FRX03 is about 8 hours talk time and 18-30 sleep time.

It already created with support these MSM72xx devices:
Diamond, Raphael, Xperia X1, Topaz, Rhodium and Blackstone.
Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, GSM-Phone, headphone, loudspeaker, G-Sensor and hw3D working.
Camera not.

I'm cooking a rom, but the TF doesn't start. I have tryied with a lot of manila (also the original manila from the 2.03), but no one work... But when I install a Copton's theme, it work...
I don't kwow waht could create this error, I have a few packages from the Topaz and the Rhodium.
Any suggestion? I'll apreciate it

OK, here's my story.
I bought my new Diamond with 1.93 rom. It had 3D driver on it but after flashing it with a new 2.03 rom 3D drivers were gone.
To sort this up I installed ATI 3d drivers but began having problems with it, after SR tflo wouldn't start anymore. After a few trial and error attempts i figured out that HTCAPI.DLL caused my tflo to crash. I deleted it and the driver still works and so does the tflo.
As far as omnia drivers are concerned i think those are uninstallable so you can try:
1. Try to find HTCAPI.dll in your win dir and delet it.
2. Hard Reset and install ati drives afterwords

Потому что, это полу-продукт. Как только она выйдет со стадии бета, объязательно будет релиз. На данном этапе, в ней куча багов.

I found two problems below:
1. Windows MediaPlayer: when in the playing pad, i couldn't change the volume level. i pressed the vol-change key, then this appeared(look at the following screen shot).
2. where is the ram cleaner's configuration? i couldn't find it.

Got it.
1. MediaPlayer vol-change key is working its changing from loud to silence but its not showing this. Will be fixed in next release.
2. I Forgot to add shortcut to Ram cleaner config will be fixed too.

i'm still testing this rom.
i've just tried to receive/send emails with GPRS, SUCCEEDED!
there is 2 more little suggestions... why not add a auto-GPRS-disconnect function? i think many people may need it. and add the AGPS setting icon?

I'm a rom developer and i've managed to cook a rom for my Benq E72 using the build 23017, but now i want to use the build 23090.
I'm trying to extract the "XIP" of an Standard Emulator Image from MS SDK 6.5.3 using this command:
nbsplit -emu os.nb
os.nb.payload
RomMaster -w 5 os.nb.payload -x -o xip.bin >NUL
But i always get an error....
[Info] It is a common ROM.
[Error] Load nb00 failed.
Also i have a rom for this device that use the build 23090, but i cannot extract the xip either
Hope someone could help me! Or tell me where i can get the XIP and SYS 23090 for Smartphone!

Sure you can. And it's not a mix - xips in 23089-23094 were the same modules with different dsm. So the only difference will be number of the build - it will look like CE.OS 5.2. 23092 (Build 23090.x.x.x)
Alexx~, dude , I think nick has problems with extracting the stuff from emulator.

Sure you can. And it's not a mix - xips in 23089-23094 were the same modules with different dsm. So the only difference will be number of the build - it will look like CE.OS 5.2. 23092 (Build 23090.x.x.x)

You have to check it by yourself. Normally everything should work, why not. All the issues described in the topic are for 20% device-dependent and for 80% user-dependent
For me and of course for Alexx~ (he knows much more than me about the things) - every build works
AndrewSh, i realized what the problem is. In samWMEmuKitchen have the opportunity to extract dump, after the dump will be created os.nb, from which they can then extract xip.bin the usual way.
It is still easier, nbImageTool extracts xip.bin directly from the emu image.bin

NO! Those builds does not work on Smartphone devices.
BenQ E72 does have WM Standard.
Those resources are for touchscreen devices (WM Professional).

A simple way to install this rom
1. download both files from original link provided up there.
2. unzip version 1 zip file for the whole folder with all the files you need.
3. unzip version 2 zip file and replace the original system.ex2 file with this new one.
4. copy all folders and files from unzipped folder (named Donut) to the root of your internal storage (for touch diamond).
5. delete ts-calibration file and copy-paste startup.txt from Diamond100 folder located in Startup Config folder.
6. simply run haret.exe to access android

and I use Android 2.2 Froyo .
Android on Diamond is a Go
Its high time I feel a seperate section is opened for Android here. As this the most happening place for our little Diam. Also Android on Diam is closing to as stable as possible. With more users testing will encrouge more to develop.
Afterall you guys here made WM6.5 and Sense 2.5 work more stable for the Diamonds and hope they will continue to do so in android also.
What is the MENU key ? i've pressed them all, and nothing...

afaik there's no tools to extract S8500's rc1..
I discovered something about the fileformat of S8500's rc1...just few things, but I can't continue the work at the moment because I'm very busy with a university programming project
it doesn't use the DCB structure, but it has a structure (of course, you'll say ) it's just more complex than DCB
I found few parts of ZIP...
Seems few files can be found via sTune...
First try to overwrite some Bytes at Start with FF leads to nearly blank screen at PIN Input Screen...
But I mixed my T-Mobile Branding with JI5 RC1 and now I know why I never found f. Icons.

Don't know if this can help, but for the Samsung Star I built an utility for the extraction of the resources inside the RC1 files of the firmware (well only images and swf files actually, and in "strange" ways - I think that Samsung forged the headers of the files included inside the RC1).

It can also replace the resources found.
I've testested with the firmware posted here and it works with the CSC, FFS and APP files. I haven't any RC1 file for the Wave to test.

Languages are in CSC file... the first 7 MB... also QMD compressed, but...
