I got a Ridata 16GB class 6 from meritline for 37 dollars. that 7 dollars could be a big deal but the class seems legit over a class 4
i bought one of these from them during their black friday sale for 8.99 after rebate. have yet to try it. but couldn't beat it at this price!

Ok so now it looks like I was able to fix my other 16 gb card. Prob my own fault after all the file transfers flashing and the like. May have one for sale. Will post after thoroughly testing. This leaves me with the 8 gb and two 16s

I ended up getting this card for free due to some shipping mistakes from Newegg, so I returned my Wintec 16gb which happened to arrive just 1 day later.
So far, it's seems to be pretty good. I had a Transcend 8GB Class 6 micro I was using before this, and the Patriot definitely loads pictures and movies faster.

Got my 16gb card in the mail today. Getting ready to install it now.
So far so good. Haven't done the speed test to see the specs but I don't really care. It works good and it holds a lot of data. I'm very happy with it so far.
I was reading another thread and it sounds like a lot of people are having issues with their Wintec card.
Got mine yesterday and works flawlessly. I just ran a write speed test on it and it was consistently writing at 7-8 MByte/s. Not bad at all for a class 4! I'm very happy with it.

Engadget had a write up on it today also. Just put in my preorder. Have the Sandisk Class 2 32GB. I really don't have an issue with it but if it will make my phone just a little faster in any aspect, I am willing to fork over the dough.
Edit: Woot...my vendor has the card but not instock. The estimated delivery date is 1/10/2010. Cancelled order with Amazon.
Also, the $88.00 price tag from provantage below is really good. Very little over vendor cost. Probably not going to see it cheaper than that unless you are a vendor.

I got one of the Wintec 16gb Class 10 cards and after two replacements that were faulty (really slow), they made it up to me with a 32gb version that just came out. Really good so far, 14 mbps read, ~8 write. Thank goodness for perseverance.
I really hate my vendor. They pushed off the receive date to 1/24.
Wonder how this compares to the Patriot LX Series Class 10 32GB MicroSDHC performance wise.

Yup. Since I had one that failed, and they sent another that wasnt any better, they made it up to me with a 32gb. So I only ended up paying like 25 bucks. Nice.

Would these cards work for the Vibrant? There is no brand name so would there be a problem in terms of reliability?
The Vibrant does support a 16 gb card, It might work flawlessly. However my opinion is you get what you pay for....
price isnt that extraordinary, i would just shell out the extra 10-15 bucks and get the card from a local retailer, save you alot of hassle if something goes wrong with the card.
I personally wouldn't trust any micro sd from overseas as there are numerous reports of incorrect and false sizes. Also if you're willing to pay the price, you can just get one from newegg
Why not go to a reputable dealer first? Like Newegg. Patriot MicroSD 16GB - 28.49, free shipping (for US, no idea about internationally)

Don't bother with Wintec...26% of the reviewers have similar defects...Mine slowed down after 2 weeks, then eventually died after 5. Due to my fault for throwing the original plastic wrap out, had to go thru Wintec instead of Newegg. I agree. One time I bought a 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo on ebay and everything was looking exactly the same as the original, but it wasn't a authentic memory card. It stopped working after a few weeks and when I started searching I quickly found out that it was a fake card looking at the serial number. The production date was a date way in the future.
Dude I bought a generic card last week on eBay and it failed the first day I bought it. Then eBay removed the listing for some security reasons so I will be getting my money back. Worst piece of crap I have EVER bought. Took photos and instantly corrupt. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a sandisk. Does the class matter?

Live in France/Netherlands. Tried shipping to europe from US (cheaper with exchange rates but not possible), than UK, in the end they added 15 pounds for shipping. (Micro sd fits in an envelope, why 15 pounds?) Anyway, total is 70 euros.. If anyone had a better suggestions for a sandisk 32 gb card in Europe, please tell me!

Got a sandisk class 4, which does everything, even full hd recording and playing. Random writes are better than class 10 cards. So overall its the best choice. Got it from an official reseller in Holland for 43 euros. Overall very very happy with it!
I would stick with the amazon one's, They are too many fake one's on ebay..

Its very weird, the class 4 is cheaper than the class 2, but it is an offcial one, official package, official speeds (a bit more actually) and a real 32gb card, no ripoff. I think they made a mistake with the pricing and switched the class 2 and the 4

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good 16 gig memory card for my EVO? I am not to sure what it is I need spec wise to have basically optimal performance.

I bought one of the 16GB class 10 Wintec cards off Newegg and it has been really reliable for me. There is a thread about them and some folks had some problems with them, but Wintec is good about replacing them if you do. I have had mine for 2 and a half months and no problems so far. Right now they are on sale for $23.49 + free shipping. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Wintec 16GB c10
If you want a bigger card, Fry's has a 32 gb Kingston for $47 with $13 mail in rebate makes it $35.

I bought the wintec of newegg and it had been pretty good for almost 3 months now and then last night it took a dump. I was able to format and the phone and pc could read it again but I lost over 9 gigs of stuff. And there have been several others on xda that this had happend to. So if u get this one make sure u keep it backed up somewhere just in case.

Actually it's "Recertified". Meaning that it was returned for reasons other than a defect (most likely incompatible purchases by customers). In order for them to re-sell an open-box item, they need to Recertify the product. They are most likely new, or used once or twice then returned.
"Refurbished" items are items with defects returned, repaired, then resold.

It is an "alright" deal, the 16gb is great but the class 4 part is kind of a let down.
All in all great post and I ordered one anyways lol but I got a 16GB class 10 from Frys for $19.99.
Every SanDisk card I have tests above the rated speed. Every non-SanDisk card I have tests below the rated speed. I don't put too much stock in the class ratings as most manufacturers (except SanDisk) inflate their card's performance.

class 4 is PLENTY for a phone. the only think you should be looking for is best bang GB per buck.
$8 for 16gig shipped "AND" a reliable quality name brand (sandisk) is a no brainer.
the only time you really need more speed is if your transffering massive content VIA A READER to the card daily.
if your TX'ing through the phone's USB card speed over 4 does not really matter since your bottle neck will be the phone hardware not the card hardware.
This was a decent deal but kind of disappointed in the fact that mine hasn't shipped yet and I ordered it last week. Not that I really care because I have a class 10 16GB in my E4GT now.
