Looking for a better keyboard

The Samsung keyboard is seriously getting on my nerves so I'm looking for keyboard recommendations. Please post what keyboard you use and what you like/dislike about it. Thanks!
gingerbread free keyboard from the market is the best ive found, only thing is the letters dont have symbols like ? ! on them, but I can live with that for free
My new favourite keyboard is Perfect Keyboard! It is exactly as the name implies. Perfect.
Regards.
I love swiftkey x beta. Its proper nice

+1, free until beta expires in August.
Other good keyboards are Thumb keyboard and Smart Keyboard both of which I've used as well.
I perfer Smart Keyboard. Quite costumizeable. Try it and buy the pro version if you like it!

I'm new to swiftkey x beta and liking it a lot so thanks for the heads up.
But.... the correction and suggestions don't work in the stock email app which is a bit of a bummer. Its sooo much better than the stock samsung keyboard.
Might go ask on the swiftkey web page if no one here has any quick and easy fix.
Edit: Found this is common for after market keyboards on the i9100 email app Have also sent question to swiftkey
Wish there was an easy way to change the keyboard when in an app without going to home screen. On my i8000 running froyo i used to be able to hold the settings button the keyboard and the keyboard choices came up. Any way to access the choise of keybaord easily??????
SlideIT ftw.

+1 on that. It's simple and does what it's supposed to do well. Plus, if you search the I9000 forum, you'll find some nice skins, yes it's free and you can change the skin color!

Seeing as everyone here post something different,I will post about my favourite.GO Keyboard.Nice, customizable, easy to use, accurate and has some pretty handy long-press shortcuts I really appreciate it.I don't know how it does with auto correction as I hate it,but other than that,it's brilliant!

Smart Keyboard has been my favourite for quite some time now. Plus I like the keyboard being a little longer as I find I hit the '.' so many times on the samsung keyboard and others. Its got a very good intuitive learning dictionary (think you have to turn it on first in settings).
Smart keyboard is great and has a lot of customization to it.
Personally love Swift Key. Can pretty much type a message only using the space bar.

My opinion atm is: Swiftkey X beta > SlideIT > Swype
I personally like Smart Keyboard pro the most. Also the gingerbread keyboard is good but not that good.
I don't know about Skype. I am trying to learn it but somehow it just seems bad..so slow and annoying. Just more practice needed?
+1 for smart keyboard. Tried the different keyboards when I got my nexus one and just felt that the smart keyboard where right for me. It has the feature that makes iPhone keyboard so great that it makes the letters bigger by prediction of what word you are typing "behind the scene"

Chrome beta in MarketPlace for ICS devices!!

Our Galaxy Nexus just got better!!
Early thoughts: Its faster than the stock browser. Adobe Flash is not yet supported. It has a nice tab design.

No need for apk.
apk is needed, cause app is not available in all markets. Here's topic in app section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485420
Crap ... is this U.S. only again?
I am in NL ... and it is not available here ...
Tried to use the link from the Market, but it cannot be installed on my Galaxy Nexus ... grayed out
Flash does not work with this Chrome beta.

There is no full screen browsing? It's not smooth scrolling and I can't adjust without the Quick Controls the stock browser has.
Not US only, found it fine here in the UK

I am completely digging the Chrome Beta. Not too many complaints seeing that its beta so it can only getter from this point on. But its good enough to be my default browser!
Really like the look and feel of it, but the tab syncing isn't working perfectly for me. It only syncs one tab even though I have several open.
The glory of Beta I guess

[REQUEST] Numeric keypad in stock Android keyboard

Dont know if the title made any sense whatsoever but heres a screenshot of what I want....or something close.
The app I am using for the keyboard has this option but I like the ICS keyboard better and would like to keep that one for typing.

there's an app for that... go to the play store and search for an app called perfect keyboard. don't remember if it costs anything but not only can you choose the 123 board as an option, you can also theme the keyboard and resize it to match your current theme. try it out!
Hey auto thanks for the reply but the screenshot that I posted foes the same thing. But I actually was trying to stay away from using a third party keyboard. Wanted yo mow if a dev could implement the number pad within the stock ics keyboard. But thanks for the suggestion though. I will try our perfect if all else fails. I used to use better keyboard with the old android but ics keyboard rocks!

I knew about that... As he said, I don't want third party apps. I am looking for something REALLY simple. A numeric keypad, just like the stock one when you open something that request it (when you're setting the time on Alarm app). Maybe a tweak to make it user openable?

Can anyone tell me what are the 2 best twitter apps that have twitpic and/or twitlonger support.
Personally, I use Plume and love it.

There are soooooooo many settings. I'd take some time to fish through them all and configure it. Tons of stuff to change, but I liked the app much more after I finished setting it up.
Tweetcaster its the King while the rest are just cheap copies..

Automatic wallpaper switcher

I found a useful app called Fresco that updates my wallpaper (daily) with cool HD images from NASA, but I am growing tired of the space theme. Whats useful about Fresco is that it doesnt just pull images from your internal memory, but queries their database so you dont store anything on your phone. As far as I can tell there is no other app that does this. Can anyone recommend another app that automatically updates your wallpaper each day in the correct size/resolution for the N4? Ideally if I could pick some categories that would be great as I dont want to wake up to see Justin Bieber (shudder) or any crap like that on my phone!
Got a link? There are many in the playstore and I don't know which one it is
