Hi everyone,
I'm currently in the USA for an internship and I'm tempted to buy an Inspire since it's so much cheaper than what it would cost back in the Netherlands. However I've searched a lot now and I can't figure this out.
Will the Inspire work on my network back in the Netherlands? I'm on T-mobile. I'm sure GSM will work and so on, but I would really like to know if 3G and even 4G will work back at home?
So, bottomline, buy or don't buy ?

Anyone have any luck in getting tzones to work on the phone ? I cant even change my plan, unless i totally upgrade to a new plan.

I'm not sure it's available to "choose" the T-Zones on smartphones anymore. Only luck would be if you already had T-Zones from before or have a crappy phone that doesn't support 3G or higher

If u dont have icon for that just go to m.web2go.com on browser and select tmo mall

I have had tzones for quite a while now. Used it on E71, HD2, and idk about now.

It's basically unlimited data for 3.99. That's why. Even though it's edge. Maybe a little faster?
But anyways, you can't use any new tmobile 4g phones because they block it. You might be able you use an international phone or maybe the telus version. I know this works for other phones not sure about the gs2

I was getting HSPDA+ speeds on my HD2. Most i got was 6.5 MBPS download.
People say att htc one x unlocked are not working with tmobile 4g, how about world version?

No. EDGE speeds only. It'll work in re-farmed markets but then so will any HSPA/+ phone.
So that means I am using the 2g speed on my flag ship smart phone whenever I am trying to open the browser!!??? If so, thinking to sell it!!! Wasting money and time......

I am in Dallas TX, some people say that the frequency band over here of tmobile is 1900. Is that true? I am still waiting my device so there is no way to test it at this point. I am using amaze 4g right now, is there a way I can do a test on my current device?

I use my phone on EDGE. It's just whether CPU is more important to you or Data speeds. For me I use my phone more like a PSP so as long as I get my notifications (twitter,FB,email) the data speed is fine.

The big reason I switch from amaze 4g to one x is that it has bigger screen and I use gps a lot. Since still waiting for the device, have nothing to do.

Is it even possible to flash a radio that will work with T-mobile 4g? I just got a white HTC one x because it looks sleek but it is no longer sleek with just 2g. Is anyone working on how to make htc one x works on US tmobile 4g network? And how long do I have to wait? Please let me know. Thanks.

It'll work on at&t's hspa+ aka faux 4g (not LTE) via at&t BYOD straight talk micro sim. I'm on T-Mobile only because i had an unlocked 4s with their prepaid but as soon as its about to expire I'm making the jump to straight talk.

It works in AT&T Straight Talk with HSPA+
I got me a AT&T GoPhone SIM while I made vacation in the USA and HSPA+ worked fine and speed was awesome, too.

you want to know your wait ok Forever!!!!!!!! Wait for T-mobile to release their version of this device. This is what happens when you DO NOT WAIT. Sell it to someone who has ATT that is all you can do now. Then buy the one T-mobile will carry done

I'm thinking on upgrading my Nexus One with One V. Have a couple of questions hopefully someone can answer:
Does the V work on T-Mobile network?
What's your experience with One V on T-Mobile?
Is the phone upgrade worth it?
I'm not on a data plan since I don't find the need to be online all the time, so I don't care too much about having 3G/4G service.
By the way, I live in Minnesota metro area.
Is it possible to flash a virgin mobile HTC One V to Verizon postpaid? I figured this would be a good way to let my mom have a smartphone without us having to spring for a data plan (don't need/want 3g to work) I would flash it to pageplus but my mom's on our family plan so it comes out to about the same,and we can still use her upgrade!
