[Launcher] VistaLauncher V1.2 updated! again!

i design a Launcher based on Vista Aero (200dpi)

the launcher APK is from Cyanogen 3.9.8 rom
you can download it here if you like but i will create a better one soon!

is this only installed thru adb? I installed the normal way it says installed(astro) but there is no changes..pardon my noob retardness...

It's a system protected file, so astro can't install it. Push through ADB, it's easier

anyway to use terminal to install

Very nice launcher.

Let's say I don't have adb....
i used su.fb app and moved the launcher to system/app and tried installing it there..I lost my home button and still no changes...tried jus moving it there ..and a reboot and I got black screen..wiped n flashed now I'm back to square 1 is it even possible to make the changes with the su.fb app??

i just put it in a theme the flashed give me a link to your desire rom and i put it in for you so the only thing you do is install new update

Would this launcher work on 3.9.10?

I flashed the 1.2 full rom, after the setup it went into a blank screen. When i press the end button, and pressed it again i can see the lockscreen. When i unlock my phone it just goes back to the black screen.

Themes for Alpha 3/4 Froyo!

These themes are a repost from my thread over at Modaco. They are only confirmed working on the Alpha 3 and 4 Froyo rom by Paul. Alpha 3 is downloadable as a free prebake. They are ported by me but not owned by me i borrowed all resources.

To apply/install the rom just flash the .zip file as if it were a rom using Clockworkmod Recovery. Obviously without wiping though.

First thank you for the themes you did create. I just downloaded and installed the gingerbread theme... and there seems to be an issue. I went back to my nadnroid to check again... and it's true.. at least for me.
After flashing your theme the networklocation works... everything is shown correct, the framework is changed.. everything is fine except the cpu usage.. After flashing over the theme I have a constant cpu usage over 70 % (screen on but nothing started.. only native android apps running... regarding to autokiller and the zte task manager..without the theme the usage is between 33 and 54 %
IS this a bug or is there any known solution?

hi there, i have changed my custom rom(Greece-wind 2.1) to rom r7-update-modacocustomrom-blade-kitchen-unsigned. And i want to have themews like above. Where i can found it? Does it work or its only for Alpha?

I Have scoured XDA for different mods and themes that will work the excellent Virtuous Unity ROM. I thought it would be a good idea to have everything in on place so Vision users had a place to come and get themes etc.

Check gee two blue for unity 1.27. Using blue magic right now. Pretty cool really like the themed apps.

No need to shout. One of the versions of unity did include the battery % icons. But more recent releases use the stock icon

Just reflash the rom. There is no need to wipe and all of your apps and settings will remain. But it will revert any system changes you have made.

I did follow the instructions... but it keeps bootlooping sometimes I can unlock the phone but then it restarts again.... (bluemaic HD)

Try wiping cache and dalvik cache in CWM, then reflash Unity. If that does not work you may have to do a full wipe and reflash unity.
Sadly these are the risks we take when modifying our phones.

chobitsdigital stock theme?

Hi, I started using chobits digital and performance wise its really good, however I just want to remain in a stock theme (standard samsung boot, fonts, menu, etc.) I tried searching and also experimenting on it, but my phone ends up crashing or my status bar is gone lol, hope anyone can help me lead to a guide that I can apply on this awesome rom.

try to use sharingan mode,, go to themes section,,its nice

Install OC GSY 900 coz this kernel have a stock boot.img yet and re install rom ...... Good luck

go in apps threat and look for the launcher threat,there are many good launcher,look for holo launcher when you ics likes then this is a good one.

Thanks for the reply but I am not just referring to the launcher as this ROM affects your menu, status bar, and everything else.

lol, indeed your custom theme is quite great, but I just want it to be simple, so far I already changed the systemui and system apps (extracted from stock rom), but I am still having an issue changing the menu ui, like the menu icons, hope someone can guide me through on this. thanks in advance
